Every time I visit Louisville, I have to book classes with Shred415. It’s such a wonderful way to sweat, strengthen, and vibe out! My only complaint is they don’t have locations where I live. 💛

I usually go to the location that is in Shred415 Hurstbourne today I decided to go to this one only because my favorite trainer Kat J was there (her energy is great) everything was very good, clean and sanitized bathrooms, just like the rest of the place, machines and the whole atmosphere with a pleasant smell. I also thought that Vic and Savahna were very cordial and funny in the front corner. I loved this gym! 🤘🏽

An incredible experience. I went to the Highlands location, which was very clean and presented friendly staff. The equipment was nice, clean, and of course all in working condition. Our exercise leader was really enthusiastic, encouraging, and friendly. She made the class that much better with a great attitude and encouraging comments throughout for each person working out. I love that they offer a BOGO option for first timers. The staff took the time to walk us through the space, showed us the equipment and explained how to use it all. The app makes it really simple to book classes.

I've been shredder since the studio opened and I love it there. The staff is always so friendly and helpful. I've made so many friends. The instructors and their workouts are great and they encourage feedback. They never push you to do anything you don't want to do and always offers modifications. All my friends and family know how much I love Shred415 because I'm always talking about it. The community is encouraging and supportive and it's a comfortable space. I'm definitely a shredder for life!

My first Shred4/15 pop-up class and it was FANTASTIC! Haven't had a burn like that in a long time, and it felt so good to get back into it. Allison's energy was amazing, and she gave such clear instructions throughout every workout, which made me feel engaged and made the class really fun. If you're looking for a fun challenge, you should come by when Allison is instructing. She'll also humble you with her sit-ups!!

One of the best things about Louisville! Shred has great classes that fly by and give you a great workout. One of my favorite features as a working mom is the kids lounge. Having childcare available there makes it easy for me to stick to my routine and get some “me time” in.

I’m telling y’all THIS PLACE IS MAGICAL🥹 the training is real, I was actually hurting the next day from the workout. They have several accommodating sessions for each person and they work I promise. I love that we move from the floor to woodway in intervals too.

I stopped by Shred while on vacation in Louisville and took two classes, one with Sam and another with Courtney. Both instructors were super helpful setting me up for class, helped me feel welcome and comfortable, and kept me motivated with their encouragement, positivity, and energetic attitudes. Both classes were really fun and engaging, and the hour-long session felt like no time at all. Shred provides incredible workouts with an incredible team and I can't wait to come back for more classes.

My favorite place to work out! All of the instructors and staff make this such a welcoming space for all fitness levels. This is a great workout -- I like the format a lot and there are plenty of themed classes and class types to mix it up. I've not had an instructor here who isn't fantastic and professional. The equipment and facility are well-kept and clean. Everyone who works here is beyond supportive and positive. If you are afraid to try it out don't be, all skill levels are welcomed.

I’ve been doing organized group fitness for my entire adult life and nothing quite compares to the Shred415 Louisville community. The studios are warm and inviting, the staff and instructors truly care, and the huge community of shredders are empowering! Lots of class times to choose from and bonus - they have two Louisville studios (Highlands and Hurstbourne Lane) and members can go back and forth. The instructors are high energy & a lot of fun. This style of class definitely breaks the hum-drum of exercising.

I love being a member of the shred community! Every time I walk in the studio, I feel welcomed and supported by all the staff and the community as a whole. I have been to multiple workout class companies, but shred is the one I have found that truly fosters a supportive community and encourages self improvement in a healthy and positive way! All of the instructors are wonderful, but I LOVE going to Allison's classes. She brings a bright light to the studio and makes working out fun! She creates a welcoming community and always shows up fully for everyone attending her classes! The shred instructors really encourage listening to your body today and not comparing yourself to anyone else, which I think is something hard to find in a fitness studio, and that is why going to shred is something I look forward to in my weekly routine! I always feel better walking out of the studio than I do walking in.

A great place to work out for people who don't like working out. The format of switching between treadmill and weight training 4-6 times per session helps to keep me engaged and not get bored. They also have a Kids' Lounge, but it costs extra.

Pros:
Instructors and people at the front-desk were very friendly. It's 30min of running, combined with 30min of dumbbells/floor exercises, so you don't get bored and your heart rate stays elevated the whole time.
Cons:
As someone primarily looking to build strength, I feel Shred 415 could improve on making the lifts more challenging or focus on a specific muscle group at a time. I took the total body class, so to cover all the muscle groups within 30min, we only did 5min of training legs, 5min of butt, 5min of shoulders, etc. That's simply not enough time to get an effective lift (in my opinion). I also wasn't a fan of how small and dark the rooms are, but I realize that's personal preference and maybe some people like working out in the dark. There's also a big lack of evening class times, so I found it difficult to attend classes after work.
I think Shred415 is great if you're looking to burn calories, your goal is weight loss, and you are available in mornings and afternoons. If you're looking to gain strength and build muscle, or are only available in evenings, I don't feel it's very effective.

The instructors here make working out less terrible! The workouts are designed for all level of athletes and will help you reach your goals. The instructors are knowledgeable and care about you and helping you reach your goals. This is group HIIT & Strength training class. They offer a mix of strength and cardio classes for a well rounded workout. They also have 5 AM classes, the earliest of any other fitness studio in town.

I scheduled my COVID booster so that I would be too sore to go to class and force myself to take a rest day but I still couldn't resist Mady's lunchtime class. she and all the other instructors whose classes I've taken have such great energy and enthusiasm making a really hard workout really enjoyable. I've been to many other boot camp style studios and this is by far the cleanest.

Shred is the best of both worlds. It is super inclusive, non judgmental, motivating and such a wonderful uplifting community of people that push you to your best, and also a place where you get the best workout. As a former college athlete it is hard to find a place that challenges you, but also brings you the aspect of fitness that feels like a team. No matter the fitness level, all people are included, encouraged and uplifted for every step of their own progress. Every instructor knows your name and celebrates your victories no matter how small (even if it is .1 on your treadmill or completing one extra squat). You end up showing up not only for yourself but each person in the room. It is amazing what super hard things you can accomplish as a class for 30 seconds. Each and every employee also supports you as a person, not just during your workout but in your daily life. I have never felt so welcome, and motivated in a fitness studio.

Shred415 is a fantastic workout for anyone. For me, a super busy working mother, it is perfect. I am in & out in an hour. I get a full body workout, even on "leg" or "arm" days plus solid run time. I can zone out for 60 mins, forget about my to do list, de-stress. I barely realize i am exercising. I listen to great music and basically walk out a whole new person. Childcare is provided for just $6!!! (cheaper if you get a package) AND the studio has lockers with USB ports so you can charge your iphone!!! i am so happy Shred415 came to Lou!!!

Shred 415 is the best 60 minute workout! I hate going to the gym and coming up with workout routines. I usually end up wasting time trying to figure out the moves. At Shred 415, they show you how to do the exercises as well as motivate you to get moving! Highly recommend!
