SLAM is the perfect combo of fitness for all levels, a welcoming community, and a sisterhood of amazing women. What has been built here is nothing short of fabulous. I've personally gone from attending just a couple times a week to hardly ever missing a day. Even on days i can't make it in person, I know that there's an online option to keep me motivated and a whole cheer squad behind me every day.

I love SLAM Fort Knox! I have never been in a SLAM community so I wasn’t sure what to expect when I first tried it out. But it has been incredible! The workouts are fun, varied, and challenging and there are even early morning virtual classes that are perfect for my schedule. My favorite part, however, has been the community. Everyone is encouraging, welcoming, and the focus is on building each member up. I cannot recommend this group enough!

Came to this group as an outsider to the military base and I was welcomed with open arms by the ladies. So happy I can work at my own pace with them to start on the road to feeling good in my own skin again. Cannot recommend SLAM Fort Knox enough!

Being a parent is hard, but nothing is harder than doing the mom thing completely alone. This amazing group of coaches and members created an instant sense of community for me; everyone was so kind and welcoming. In addition to being lovely people, the coaches create fantastic workouts and will offer modifications or corrections to ensure everyone is accommodated. I can’t forget to mention: you can bring your babies and kids along!
If community and fitness isn’t enough, we also do a monthly mom’s night out, attend the kiddos birthday parties, bring meals during postpartum or deployments, do outings to parks, zoos and museums.
As a mom and a military spouse, the coaches and members of SLAM Fort Knox have made our most recent move the easiest transition we’ve had to date. It felt like we had an instant community who are founded around healthy lifestyles and family. I am deeply grateful for SLAM every day!

I never thought I’d be able to be physically fit while having 3 children and being a stay at home mom but SLAM has been such a blessing and I could ask for a better “SLAMily” 🫶🏼 Thank you to my sisters that keep me accountable and always have a good time while showing our children we are strong and capable 💪🏼

SLAM Fort Knox Is such a great community. You are welcome from the time you sign up, show up etc from crying kiddos, or life’s interruptions in this space everyone understands and gets it and is there to support you or help if needed. You get a sweaty great workout for YOU, no matter what season of life you are in YOU ARE WELCOME JUST AS YOU ARE! You can ask for more intense of a workout, to challenge you or a modification while listening to your body and your limitations SLAM meets you where you are! Your kiddos make friends and get to play at the end or before class. It is a great environment. So if local come check it out!!!

I was nervous to try thinking I would be intimidated but the coaches have several ways to modify movements to be easier or harder. The people are so encouraging and represent all fitness backgrounds/experience levels. Being able to workout with my kiddo and get a good burn in an hour with supportive and encouraging friends has been phenomenal for me physically and mentally.

I joined SLAM because I realized I needed to become more active, not just for myself but also for the benefit of my small children. I wanted to be a role model for them, showing them the importance of maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle from a young age. However, after several failed attempts to establish a consistent exercise routine, I became increasingly discouraged. Instead of making progress, I found myself turning to food as a source of comfort, and the overeating made me feel even worse about my situation.
SLAM is made up of professional women from various fields, all of whom are committed to supporting one another on their fitness journeys. One of my favorite aspects of SLAM is the dietician who works with us. She provides practical guidance on how to nourish our bodies in a way that supports a active lifestyle, which has been invaluable to me. Learning about proper nutrition has helped me make healthier choices and break the cycle of emotional eating making.

Doesn’t matter, SLAM will welcome you and give you the help during your workout to mold it to your abilities and inout desires! Have kids and don’t want to pay for daycare? Bring them! Kids in school, grown or don’t have any? Doesn’t matter, you will be welcomed! I can’t believe it took me 3 years to stop making excuses and finally try SLAM. My goal was to come once a week, but I’ve been coming every day because I love it so much. The support, exercises, ability to still have my children with me, and the friends we have made have really made Kentucky feel like home. Though I’m not a morning person or a big workout person, SLAM still makes me feel like I belong. My toddler, infant, and I drive 25 minutes each morning to get to class by 9. Some days we don’t make it by 9 and all days I have to stop to redirect my kids, but I’ve never felt judged or ashamed. My workout is what I make it and sometimes that just means showing up, which still feels great. Don’t be like me and keep putting off this great community, come join us!

When we first moved to Fort Knox, I knew I wanted to join S.L.A.M. At the time, my first baby was 4 months old. I was still recovering from birth injuries but Amanda and the other coaches made sure I had modifications and they checked on me throughout class to ensure I was comfortable.
As a first time Mom I really struggled with anxiety and identity changes. I didn’t have any other mom friends to relate to! Coming to SLAM and meeting other moms has completely changed my life. Having a “mom tribe” to lean on has been crucial for my mental health in motherhood.
I can’t say enough great things about this group. Come SLAM with us!

S.L.A.M. Is such a great place to be for mothers wanting to work on their fitness! Everyone is encouraging and supportive. It’s like a tight knit family. There are moms in many stages of life from pregnancy to postpartum to children of many ages. The workouts are great and motivating. It’s so much better to workout with a bunch of moms than by yourself. I am so glad I joined this amazing group of women! They are there to help out in every stage of fitness! So what are you waiting for? Can’t wait to see you there!

I regret holding back and waiting so long to try out SLAM. Everyone has been so welcoming and my son has made so many new friends that he looks forward to playing with each day. In the beginning, my goal was to come once a week and now we look forward to going each day. This group makes me feel fulfilled and has helped me to build a more active lifestyle, which isn’t just great for me, but for my boys too. Thank you so much Amanda, for building such a loving community for us to be a part of.

S.L.A.M. Fort Knox has been the most welcoming and encouraging group of women I've ever come across. The workouts are great- with modifications and accommodations for everyone no matter your fitness level or where you are in pregnancy/ post partum. Childcare is no longer an issue for me when it comes to working out, because they get to come with me and play at the park afterwards! It's fun and challenging, and I'm so glad I gave it a try! I'm a S.L.A.M. Sister for life ❤️

The BEST workout community in the area! Offering both virtual and in person 9 am classes, SLAM offers something for everyone! I love that it’s a safe space to bring the kiddos and offers them an amazing group of friends to play with after the workout (and even outside the workouts in a community setting!) Truly life changing!! Amanda has done amazing things with SLAM Fort Knox!
