No one should ever have to be uncomfortable going into any establishment, but gyms especially. Walked in and was immediately "greeted" w/the candy store is next door sweetheart. Barf. Then was stared at for 20 minuted by an employee.

Decent gym. Has 24hr access with swipe card. It is small but has all essential equipment for a good workout. Membership rates are a bit high but it's the one of the only 2 gym's in the immediate independence area so there's minimal competition to drive the price down.

Been a member here since 2012. Convenience is the key! New ownership in the late month. They have really cleaned up the gym and are adding more free weights which is awesome. Highly recommend this place and I'm a serious lifter.

Excited for new ownership. The location is more clean now than I have seen it in the last 3 years. I do fee like the cleaning schedule should be updated to perhaps 3x week, as the bathrooms become dirty very quickly. Happy to hear that new / additional equipment will be added. New ownership has more of a presence at the club now due to issues with younger members treating the club like their own personal gym, bringing in multiple people to work out who were not members & blasting music.

In all, I feel that what is offered for the price is fair & location is key for me. Personal trainers said to be added soon, along with newer cardio equipment with its own built-in television.

Can only get better from here.

I love this Snap location! It's convenient to visit after work or on my lunch breaks and it's always clean. The staff is friendly and so are the members!

Terrible gym if you can even call it that. It's dirty and the equipment is not taken care of. Half the treadmills are not working when I go in and I'm always concerned the treadmill will stop on me when I'm on it. I say that because it's happened to me more than once and I'm thankful I didn't get hurt. They have signs up that ask that you do not step on the hood of the treadmill because it can damage the equipment. It can also cause an injury (it's listed 2nd on the sign) but members are not their top priority. Number one priority is to make sure they put in as little time, money and effort to keep the "gym" nice. "Management" doesn't care about its members. If they did the gym would not be so dirty and equipment would be maintained.

There were signs hung up when it first opened about joining in the fall. I believe it's been 4 or 5 years since it opened and those signs are still up and have never come down.

I can't imagine anyone goes to this "gym" for any other reason than its close and there's really not another gym close.

I think "management" knows it's the only option for people in the area and because there are no other options they don't take care of anything. They think people will come because they have no choice and unfortunately it's true.

I've been to other snap fitness centers and they are not close to being this bad.

I understand I may sound just like a disgruntled member. If you decide to take a visit you will see the how dirty, not taken care of this "gym" is. You can see all the old signs, broken equipment and bugs crawling across the floor for yourself.

If you have options, save your time and money and go somewhere else.

Very cocky staff, extremely small, overcrowded,dirty and poor quality equipment try the tanning bed and see if u get anything from it
