Being well versed in both fat loss and muscle building, Sol will custom tailor your workouts so you can achieve your goals efficiently no matter your starting point. Moreover, he takes a comprehensive, holistic approach to training that emphasizes proper nutrition and rest to ensure you don’t just look your best but feel it as well. Cannot be any more happier to be a part of Sõl Perry Fitness group. After being brushed off by many doctors on my conditions, telling me what I had was allergies, I was unsure where to start and luckily I came across Sõl Perry fitness page. Sõl has been very supportive in finding ways to help me from feeling like I’m about to pass out during my workouts. I can clearly say that I’ve never felt much healthier and stronger than I do now. If you have Diastasis Recti from pregnancy stop right now and call Amanda!!! After carrying twins, my abdominal muscles we're 4-4.5 finger widths apart. I was told I would need surgery to make a significant difference. Amanda did the research and came up with a plan for me (which I followed) and within 5 weeks, I was measuring 1-1.5 finger widths apart. Huge improvement without surgery!

I was not their typical client and had a lot of hormonal issues preventing me from losing weight. I trained for several months before the weight started coming off with some hormonal correction. I wasn't starting at zero... It took a few months for me to even rebuild my strength and get to that point.

Amanda supported the decisions I made for myself medically to get my hormones in check which made all the difference. She was invested in me and my success and she was as happy as I was, when all our hard work started paying off!

After my husband and I finished 10 months of training with Sol and Amanda, we asked them to put personal workouts together for each of us to use 3 days a week at the gym. That has been crucial to my success. I still have their guidance even when they're not there.

Sol and Amanda are great trainers, but they're great people, too. They're real and they know what it is to have health and weight challenges. They lived it. I can't recommend them highly enough.

I have known Sõl for about 12 or 13 years now as I was one of his music students back in the good old days of P.M.C.! I guess you could say I was an “enabler” to his unhealthy lifestyle back then by bringing him chinese food (with a large soda) every other week. Fast forward to now & I am very impressed at how far he has come since those days not only with his health but also other aspects of his life.
I “reunited” with Sõl in May of this year. After having 2 kids and wanting to get rid of my “mom bod” i contacted him and right away got to working on my overall health & fitness.
I have lost inches off of my body but even more important than that, I have gained knowledge of nutrition that not only is beneficial to me but also my family. His holistic approach to health is eye opening & not something you could get from a gym membership. I still struggle with my eating habits & trying to feed my family healthy meals but him & amanda are both there to help guide me every step of the way. I would definitely recommend them if you are trying to get your body in check while also learning the “hacks” to healthy living.

As a high intensity tennis player (Top 20 in state) I didn't need a trainer to work my body till it fell apart, I needed a trainer to build me up. In my experience, Sõl is a well rounded fitness expert who can simultaneously act as a physical therapist, personal trainer, and nutritionist. All of which are critical to a healthy life. More specifically, for my athletics, a critical element of his training scheme for me has been his adversity to pain of any kind. When pain begins, all of Sõl’s talents and resources can be quickly diverted to end it as quickly as possible, which has greatly reduced my off court time for injuries. And when pain stops, he resumes fitness plans customized to meet the needs of my sport and body. I would recommend him to any fellow athlete or anyone looking to improve their health and wellness should consider Sõl Perry. Before I started working out with Sol my health was in grave danger. I was suffering from high blood pressure, high cholesterol and a high body fat %. Within only a few months of working with Sol I’ve gained knowledge of the proper form & technique as well as proper nutrition. I'm not one to write reviews, but I feel I need to share my experience with Sõl. Last year in October 2016 I twisted my back something aweful. It was so bad that I finally went to a doctor. That doctor sent me to a specialist. That specialist sent me for an MRI. Then the specialist sent me to another specialist. They send me for a CTscan and cortisone injection, then another MRI. They still couldn't figure out what was wrong. So they stuck me in physical therapy for 8 weeks. During all of this time, the only relief I had from the pain was taking muscle relaxers along with Tylenol and Advil all at the same time.
Finally, my wife mentioned my problems to Sõl at one of her sessions. She trains with Amanda, Sõl's wife. Sõl asked that I come see him for a session. So I went, because by now I'm ready to try anything. My first workout with Sõl and he zoomed in on the problem areas and began tailoring a program specifically designed to get my back better. I am very happy to say that after a few weeks of sessions my pain was manageable without medication. After a few more I had full mobility back. And just recently we were actually able to start building my muscles to prevent future problems.
I can't give a high enough review to thank Sõl for all the time and effort he has put in to my recovery.

I have been pretty good about working out regularly for the past 20 years. I've even worked out with a few different trainers but I was still failing. Weight was creeping up at an average of 3 pounds or more per year. I only had some success losing weight around my 40th year but it was by getting completely obsessive about my eating (starving myself) and excessive working out. Something I could not sustain. My weight came back and went higher than my previous high point and so it continued even with my religion of getting myself to the gym.

Working with Sol and Amanda has truly been a transformation process for me. I feel I am finally succeeding. The tools I've learned to overcome challenges give me confidence I won't slip backwards again. I still have more to achieve but for the first time in years my blood pressure is healthy, I have so much more mobility than I thought possible, I've lost inches all over and I feel and look so much better. I am dropping sizes! I'm in my mid 50's and I feel better than I have in a couple of decades. Real change is about massive action. I believe that your worst enemy in any difficult journey is yourself. It's easy to create excuses, it's easy to make poor decisions and it's easy to give up. I've known Sõl for over 10 years, we shared a lot of good times during our time in the music industry. I consider him a close friend. But, the call to Sõl to make a positive change was one of the most difficult calls I've had to make, ever to any friend.

As a photographer, I have the amazing opportunity to travel the world and document cultural impact .Over a year ago, I learned of a potential project that would forever change my life. An expedition to climb the highest free standing mountain in the world; Mount Kilimanjaro, all in the name of charity for Tanzania, Africa.

Every year, many people die on this mountain. Many people fail. Athletes and celebrities attempt every year, most don't make it past Kosovo Camp at 17,000 ft. It's a mountain the demands respect, time and a lot of will. You have to be fit, or you will die.

With this knowledge, I was determined to meet my fitness and wellness goal. With the blueprint provided by Sõl, I lost 110 pounds and gained significant muscle mass. By the time my boots hit the base camp at Kilimanjaro, I was ready. I felt like I had prepared a lifetime for this adventure.

We pushed through seven grueling days of long treks and acclimatization beginning at 3,000 feet all the way to 19,341 feet. We hiked from heavy rain forest to glacial rock at below-freezing temperatures. Being the expedition photographer, I had to work harder then everyone else. I had to set the pace, climb in front of the pack and always be two steps ahead. There were times I wanted to fall behind and just close my eyes, but I kept going.

The altitude got the best of many, some had to be carried off the mountain on a stretcher. I focused on my pace, and took one small step at a time. I felt drugged and struggled for air. But, I kept going.

At 6:55am on September 28th, I made the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro. I have never been more fatigued in my life. I hadn't slept in over 24 hours. I was cold, crushed with a headache from hell, hallucinating and my body was wrecked, I make the executive decision to descend. Miraculously, I made a quick pace at a 5.5 hour, 22 mile decent, rather then the standard 8 hour decent. I did it all without supplemental oxygen or medication, which most people required. I was broken, but had accomplished what I set out to do; create beautiful imagery and lived to tell the story.

I want to take this opportunity to thank Sõl and Amanda for welcoming me with open arms after that first phone call, a time at which I desperately needed help. I know for a fact that I would have died on that mountain if it weren't for the guidance and preparation they both provided. I believe we are all climbing a mountain, it's the daily things that will derail your progress, so don't give up. Just keep going and take trust in the knowledge you've been provided. It works.

I am 41 have been seeing Sol and Amanda for a little over 2 years. When I started seeing him I could not even bend over to put my socks on due to a pinch nerve in my back. I had not done any exercise for 2 years before seeing him due to constant back pain. It is not an easy journey but with Sol's help I can now happily bend over, work in the yard and do things with my 8 year old daughter that I could not do before. He is very patient and works with you and creates a program fit to your individual needs. Being previously overweight himself gives him a fantastic understanding of what you are going through. He eases your into fitness. Do not think you will go in the first day and be expected to do 100 burpees and 25 pushups. You will be weighed and measured which is not fun, but he starts out slow and the goals set are achievable. Over the past 2 years I have messed up my knee, my ankle, had some emotional low points and had sciatic nerve issues. He always finds a way to work around any issue and gave me exercises to relieve the pain. His knowledge of the body and nutrition is amazing. I can't say enough good things about Sol. He changed my life for the better.

As 2016 rings in and the normal New Year’s resolutions are swirling around in everyone’s minds, it takes me back to the frustration that I felt nearly every day. I feel like I have tried so many diets with maybe good results for the first 2 weeks or month and then I would get tired of it and go back to my old ways. Even with Weight Watchers where I had some accountability, I would just quit going so I wouldn’t have to weigh in.
I can’t tell you what a huge relief it is for me this year to not even have to think about that resolution. Why? Because I found Sol and Amanda Perry! I have been going to Sol and Amanda for a little over a year now, and it’s not just that I’ve lost some weight, which of course I have, but I just feel better and stronger. I actually want to go see them and when something happens and I can’t go, I really miss my workouts. If I’m out of town, I can even do Skype training to stay on track. I have never in my entire life “missed” being able to work out. It’s also the slow lifestyle changes that just seem to come about following the Sol Food diet and really just doing what they tell me to do. They just have a great knack for wading through all of the diet mumbo-jumbo and they give me real-life strategies that really work. And no, I’m not perfect at following it, but when that happens, Sol also has great strategies for getting right back on track again without losing progress.
Honestly just having an expert trainer who is super compassionate because he has actually done the process himself really has made a huge difference for me and Sol and Amanda have really changed both mine and my husband’s lives. We both feel a lot better and can’t wait to continue this journey with Sol and Amanda, who we consider to be family now! Thanks, Sol and Amanda, for everything you do, you’re both amazing! I have been training with Sõl in fitness for a year and half and have been with him even longer as a music student. Sõl is an excellent musician and has taught me how to play guitar as well as many things about music. He understands the importance of allowing a student to learn in his or her own way and encourages his students to pursue their own musical styles and interests. Even though he allows them to go where they want musically, he still manages to teach them a bit of music theory along the way. In terms of fitness, Sõl knows a lot. What he knows comes from extensive research and personal experience. As someone who has lost over 100 pounds with Sõl and his diet plan, I can personally attest to it's efficacy. What is even better is that Sõl himself can attest to it, as he has used to be overweight as well. I am on day 13 with Sol Perry Fitness. My daughter loves me and wanted to see me improve my health. She gave me 5 weeks training at Sol Fitness as a 51st birthday gift. I can honestly say at first I was apprehension. I’ve gained 40lbs over the past 2 years and very seldom exercise. It was difficult to be weighed and measured for the 1st time, Sol helped me relax and was not condescending at all. Now for the good part, as each day goes by I feel physically and mentally better. When I started with Sol Perry I had high cholesterol and several other laboratory tests that were not normal. After being on several diet plans and trying numerous exercise regimens, I still could not lose the excess weight after my pregnancy. I thought I was eating healthy and doing everything that was right. My first visit proved me wrong. I was actually eating everything I shouldn't and my choice in exercise was hindering my weight loss. He is not only an amazing trainer, he teaches you proper nutrition, supplements to aid in your goals, and is your support system throughout your journey. I'll tell you all the generic stuff -he's good at what he does, he creates results, he's professional. Yadayadayada.
And guess what, that's all quite true. I'm an Olympic Performance Coach and I can tell when someone is the real deal.
BUT, that's not why I think Sõl Perry is so special and deserves your utmost confidence and respect.
No. The reason for THAT, why he is the one go-to-guy, the one trainer to trust is because he is 100% genuine, someone who will do his best to help you change your life. Like he changed his.
Because this guy has faced so many challenges -and he's still facing them, challenges hat would break most but the best of us. The way he takes care of sick and disabled persons, the way he cares for his family is simply admirable.
And instead of becoming bitter, all this seems to just make him a better person; who cares for his friends and clients like no-one else that I know.
If you're looking for someone to help you turn around your life -health, fitness, weight loss, etc- he not only knows how to do this right, he also will do his very best to genuinely help you make it a reality.
