Cannot recommend enough! I trained here for about 2 years and I’m stronger and healthier than I’ve ever been. I learned so much about training and gained a tremendous amount of independence in the gymβ€”and I started from zero. The trainers are all extremely patient and helpful but more than happy to push you! If you’re considering making an investment in your health, I’d recommend checking this place out.

Nathan and his staff were instrumental in helping me get back to lifting while dealing with several orthopedic issues. Nathan was always careful to consider my workout plan in conjunction with my injury and PT plan. He’s great at giving small verbal cues to correct form and help further prevent injury. Highly recommend!!

Nathan takes the time to genuinely listen and understand what you're wanting and what you need, then accurately assesses the problem and provides great drills for fixing the fundamental issue. I went to him for help with my squats, since I get knee and ankle pain on my right side after a heavy leg day. He provided my with a couple of drills that have really helped, and I've seen my squat weight go up too! Highly recommend his expertise.

Nathan diagnosed my existing work out, tweaked it, and changed my life. Turns out I was actually over working my body. Now I'm doing about half the workout i was doing before, but I have more gains and I'm lifting more. Best of all I enjoy lifting again and I have about four more hours of life per week that I'm not in the gym!

Weight training is not something I was originally seeking, but this gym is quickly fostering a love of lifting. In less than one month and with Nathan's help, I have nearly eliminated a shoulder impingement I've had for 5 years. I literally couldn't pivot my arm above my head without intense pain. I'm learning better posture by activating muscles I didn't know I had, which is also preventing small injuries I usually give myself. (I'm pretty short so I tend to hurt myself hauling luggage while traveling or driving too long -- I can't reach things).
The gym atmosphere is great too. Everyone is on their own program so you aren't directing competing to see who can out muscle own another. No one makes fun of my 45lb squat when other girls can do 250+! They cheer one-another on when going for personal records. The pace is slow and incremental so we don't risk injury. And the coaches are always at the ready to give you everything you need to succeed (grabbing boxes, spotting weights, explaining physiology, giving encouragement).
I very highly recommend Stivers Strength to anyone. It's not just for lifters, it's for anyone committed to a functional body and healthy life.
