Best gym hands down definitely a Louisville, Kentucky I went to every gym in the world, but I would say it’s most likely better than all of them also for one the atmosphere is amazing. Everyone that goes to the gym is friendly respectful. The gym is clean, Equipment is wonderful and have machine that most gym don’t! And on top of all that if you want to, you can work out with your shirt off get right there is just top tier and really awesome they allow that plus when you walk in you see Inspiration all around you from the pictures of all the great and up-and-coming bodybuilder and fitness models.

Visited this gym while in town for work. This is the place to be. They have it all with an old school vibe: squat racks, deadlift platform, dumbbells, leg machines, cable machines, turf area, boxing ring, etc. I can smell success in the air. If you’re local, give this place a shot. If you’re traveling, they sell day passes for $10.

Very motivating gym with high energy. The staff knew my name from the very first day, and make sure to say hi to me when I see them.

The gym doesn’t have the same amenities as more modern facilities, but you trade that for the environment; and the ample equipment and space for literally any kind of workout you can imagine. There is an incredibly diverse crowd, from young to old, and any demographic in between.

Coming from a commercial gym(Crunch Fitness) it’s a complete 180. The Factory Gym is an old school body building gym with all the right equipment. I’ve started going here roughly a month or so ago and wouldn’t go anywhere else. It is a little more expensive ($5) with less amenities(Hydromassage, Saunas, Group Classes) than a commercial gym but with the atmosphere and the vast amount of equipment it towers over any other gym in the area. With no A/C it’s a sauna in itself in the summer. Great employees, great atmosphere, plethora of equipment. Best gym in Louisville by FAR.

At first, I was intimidated by this gym as a female and first time goer in a body building gym. But over the last few years, I have had nothing but a great experience. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The atmosphere inspires you to be the best version of yourself. I rarely had to wait for equipment and it was awesome they were open on holidays. The only drawback at first was the summer it can get hot, but I adjusted to it being a part of the experience. Highly recommend this gym!

Really cool, old school gym. Excellent variety of machines, cables and free weights. Crowd was nice and respectful. Monthly, weekly and daily rates. Military discount. Clothing store, changing rooms and bathrooms and small dining room.
They have supplements for sale by the scoop incase you forget your wire juice at home. Overall a really good gym. Must visit if you’re in town.

This is an awesome gym! I would definitely train here if I lived within 30-40 minutes. It’s a very large warehouse gym with garage doors and large fans. It’s Spacious, and there is lots of equipment, so it doesn’t feel crowded, and you don’t have to wait for equipment. This gym has everything a serious lifter needs + a posing room for competitors.

Best Gym in Louisville. A great community and atmosphere. Weights are always organized so you don’t have to go searching around the gym. They also have a water filter if you care about that sort of thing as well as lots of exotic machines you can’t find anywhere else. One thing they could work on is on maintaining their equipment better as some machines don’t work all the time but other than that it’s perfect.

Best gym I've ever been to. It's a bare bones gym for serious lifters. There's no sauna, or anything fancy for that matter, but there's tons of great equipment that's pretty well maintained and a great atmosphere. Only knock is that the showers don't work well and there's no hot water.

Best gym I’ve ever been to. Not fancy and doesn’t need to be; they have everything I need and lots of it. I avoided gyms for years because they were too crowded and I got tired of waiting to use whatever I needed to use. Day passes are offered for those who travel looking for a gym. Hardcore gym with equipment not seen in typical commercial gyms (which is great). I love this gym. Great price for a huge, well maintained gym. They have lots of weight options so even when it’s super crowded I almost never have to wait on a machine or rack. The absolute only downside is that they open at 8am on Saturday and 9am on Sunday. But that is totally understandable considering they’re open at 5am the rest of the week. so it doesn’t take away from it overall.

Having moved several times over the last few years, this is my first attempt back to a gym, post injury of course. What a pleasant surprise! Not but 15 minutes away from where I now reside is this perfect gym.

Of course I searched around for a gym upon moving here. Saved The Factory to my bookmarks. A conversation with an employee of mine brought up the name of this gym as a place she was wanting to try. I have in fact secured a monthly membership already.

What makes this the perfect gym is the atmosphere. Arnold era equipment. Bodybuilding posters. A focus of "here to work not to play." Super staff. All the typical amenities. Plenty of space. Multiple pieces of the same equipment. A plethora of free weights, machines, balls, and even things unfamiliar to my well-informed self. I didn't even get a single, meat-head vibe. It wouldn't have bothered me personally, but some people are funny about that sort of thing.

In my vision of a bodybuilding gym, I would have to say that this takes the cake. The only difference, not busy at all. The hours are fairly decent, but with the understanding that to remain open, staff has to be present. No sense having anybody spend every waking minute at work.

If skeptical, at least give it a shot. Can't say it isn't for you if you aren't willing to put yourself out there. As Arnold would say, "I'll be back."

Gym is great! It has a very serious atmosphere and never gets TOO too crowded. There's plenty of equipment available from cardio to olympic powerlifting and more. Most of the equipment IS old though, and can be rusty/dirty at the grip. My biggest gripe about the gym, however, is its circulation. My god, does this place become an oven midday, especially during the Summer. 2 giant ceiling fans and a couple ground fans here and there is not enough. I recommend going early hours or very late before it closes, otherwise prepare to sweat your balls off.

This gym is open to the public but caters more towards body builders and those that do serious training. The actual gym space looks like a big garage or warehouse. There's no colorful paint like commercial gyms. There's a few bodybuilding posters up. The seats are taped up and they have cobwebs in the corners. This place is all about function, not fashion. A bit small but I have no complaints... My apartment complex nets me a free membership. This is also a hardcore gym. People who are serious about weightlifting come here. With that being said, I am not one of those people and I feel comfortable being there.
