I highly recommend The Little Gym! I’ve been taking my daughter since she was 4 months old, and the progress she’s made in her motor development has been incredible. She’s now 11 months and already walking!

After seeing the great reviews, I had some fairly high expectations of this place. Unfortunately the experience did not meet those expectations.

I did a try out for my three year old before possibly signing up. Since it was his first time, he struggled with the courses and was not personally guided when he was confused where to go. At one point he went into the corner and stood there since nobody was helping him. There were plenty of coaches there to be able to assist him. Time and time again the coach in his mini group catered to the other kids who have been going there and knew how to do the courses.

My son has a neurological imbalance which
causes him to have impulses where he struggles to keep his hands to himself. My worst nightmare anywhere we go is that he would be seen in a negative way for who he is. He struggled a couple of times to keep his hands to himself and I was hoping that they would still treat him equally as the others but it was sadly not the case.

Afterwards, I talked to the people that worked there explaining his condition and I was taken aback by a comment from one of the coaches that was working directly in his mini group for the courses. She said that she had noticed him not keeping his hands to himself and thought he had a “angry or secret side to him”. Hearing that, I knew I would not be coming back. I hope that any of the coaches or employees reading this can learn from this situation and have more compassion for children. You never know why a child may behave the way that they do. All children should receive love and care.

I can not say enough good things about how our son’s second birthday went at The Little Gym. I had multiple check-ins leading up to the party confirming details, and the staff answered every question I had. They provided a lot of supplies so I didn’t have to. The party had STRUCTURE, and the staff was kind and helpful through the entire process. I’ve never been to such a smooth, amazing kids birthday party. I actually got to enjoy it and not worry about running around making sure everything was happening. I’m SO blown away by how great The Little Gym did!

We have been going to TLG for about 18 months now. I signed my now 3 year old up for the rest of the year after our trial class. She had a blast! All the instructors really get to know the kids and their preferences. I never felt bad if my kid just wanted to run around like a maniac and skip skills sometimes. TLG offers a lot of flexibility if you need to miss a day and do a make up or change your class time. We absolutely adore Ms Nicole! She is always so friendly and upbeat. I don’t know how she memorizes so many kids names, but she does. From reduced class sizes, to frequent cleaning of equipment, and more, I always feel like they take the health and safety of everyone seriously. While we aren’t currently required to wear masks, they definitely encourage them and hand sanitizer is always readily available. They also offer private lessons, which we took advantage of when group classes were closed last year. The pricing was very reasonable and my kid was able to burn up a lot of energy (this could be structured or free play, whatever you wanted). This has been a great activity for my child and great for her social and motor development. I highly recommend it to anyone with little kids.

My daughter loved The Little Gym! The coaches make the kids feel so special, always saying "hi" when they walk in. The classes were organized, fun, and always changing. I also noticed, they take cleaning very seriously, and wipe down the whole gym in between classes. I would definitely recommend!

My daughter was 9 months old when I realized that her best friends were the picture of the baby on the side of the diaper box and the dog. I signed her up for a free class at the Little Gym Lexington to help improve her social skills and give us something else to do aside from stare at each other all day. From day one she has loved everything about the experience, except having to return the balls at the end of the session. I can't say enough good things about the staff here. She has literally blossomed under their attention and tutelage. She and I have both made new friends, we have something to look forward to during the week, and she is learning so much. 10/10, totes recommend.

We can’t get enough of The Little Gym! We have been going for almost a year now and look forward to our class on a weekly basis! We have been members of The Little Gym since my daughter was five months old. They let you schedule a complimentary trial class before having to commit to anything which was a big plus. I wasn’t sure how she would do at such a young age so I was happy to be able to check things out. We decided to join instantly once we completed our first class. I have watched my daughter blossom in the 8 months we have attended The Little Gym. We have made a very good group of friends and she absolutely adores her teacher. We even opted to do a private one-on-one session to assist with learning to walk and she enjoyed the extra time and attention. I was hesitant going anywhere during the height of covid, but I have been pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness and care they have taken to keep the kiddos safe. All the staff is friendly and welcoming every single time we walk through the door. I can’t say better things about TLG and strongly encourage families to give it a shot!

By far the best activity I could have chosen for my two daughters. Clean facilities, kind and supportive staff, and individualized attention all in a safe environment. We have been coming here for over five years and we know we'll be here for at least the next five. I feel like my daughters have more confidence and are less likely to be injured due to the skills they have learned at The Little Gym. I also love that they keep the focus on fun rather than competition, which is hard to find at the other gyms around town!

I hardly ever write reviews, but we really love The Little Gym at Lexington East. Our 10.5 month old has been going since he was 6 month and has the best experience. As the only child who stays at home most of the daytime with grandpa and nanny, I can tell he enjoys the fun activities and the socialization with other babies. As a physical therapist, I would highly recommend the little gym to help kids work on strength, balance and motor skills. We love the little gym. My daughter has been going since she was about 17 months and she looks forward to it every week. I recently reserved The Little Gym for my daughter’s first Birthday Party and absolutely loved it! She had such a great time in the gym. The staff was so warm and friendly- they took excellent care of her. I was a little worried at first with the amount of time delegated to decorating (15minutes) and eating (30 minutes), but the ladies there helped me set up in no time! They even served the food and cut the cake!!! We loved it so much that we are now going to enroll our daughter in the classes there. We were very satisfied and impressed with it all ❤️

The 11 month old I nanny for LOVES this place. We started with a free trial to make sure he would which is a great option. The place is extremely clean and the instructors are amazing. They are super nice, bubbly and somehow they manage to remember names extremely well! The classes are very fun and active :)
