This gym has gone way downhill lately. There’s teenagers always hanging around, hogging several machines, being rude, and even sometimes taking off their shirts. I’ve noticed they don’t even scan in half the time, so I’m not sure they’re actual members. The men’s bathrooms are disgusting. Pee on the floor, unflushed urinal/toilet. Half the paper towel dispensers are empty in the gyms On top of that, it’s always hot inside feels like the AC never works, thank God winter is here. Definitely not worth the membership anymore.

I went on a one-day pass to try this gym out, and I’m so glad I did before signing up. The place is absolutely disgusting. Half the equipment is worn out or filthy, most of the machine padding is completely worn down, and the bathrooms are never clean. Things are scattered everywhere with no organization, and even the water stations are filthy. For the price they charge, you’d expect a clean and safe environment, but this gym is the exact opposite. I decided not to get a membership, and honestly, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Horrible customer service. Hours aren’t accurately listed. I signed up online and after going to the center, it was messy, and unorganized. No one was at the desk. I immediately inquired about a refund and cancellation which was approved via email, but 2 weeks have gone by and no refund has gone through and my membership is still listed as active. I have sent 4 emails and no one responds. Avoid at all costs. For the same rate go to Genesis Health Club. They have a pool, clean facilities, AND kind staff.

The gym environment and equipment are nice. However, I moved away and tried to cancel my membership. I was told I had to go online. I went online and there is no link to cancel membership. The person in the office said she could not cancel it for me. I tried to get a block on that payment however the bank will charge a $30 fee anyway. To sum it all up, I had to get a completely new bank account with new routing and account number as well as new card. Excuse my French but this is absolute bullshit. Tbh I’ll never get another gym membership with this company. Planet Fitness here I come. It doesn’t matter how nice your gym is, if someone’s money is held hostage, everything gets thrown out the window.

Stopped in to buy a premium membership during staffed hours. When you walk in there is a sign that says "sorry I'm away front he desk feel free to come find me or call this number to have someone come to the front."

I don't know what this person looks like so I'm not walking around asking everybody if they work here. Additionally, I called the number several times and could see the phone sitting on the (unlocked) office table with nobody coming to get it.

Waited at the front for nearly ten minutes with no indication of service. While waiting I see a typical corporate cancelation policy taped to the desk where you need to give 30 days notice of cancellation, in person with everything current, or by certified mail.

No thanks.

Lost a potential customer.

Love 24/7 they have everything you need to get in shape and stay healthy. Very friendly staff and always willing to help. It's very clean and the members are respectful... some of the pads are a little wore but I'm sure that'll be taken Carr if in the future. Highly recommended

The gym itself is fine, but keep an eye on your auto payments. They tried to say I didn’t pay for 3 months, when I had proof that I did. I went in to dispute it and tried to cancel my membership. Had no luck disputing the over charges, and they tried everything to talk me out of cancelling. I’ve had several friends that tried to warn me of this same issue they had, and unfortunately I didn’t listen. It’s now been a year and a half and I’m still trying to fight their claim. Proceed with caution!

Gym is a JOKE!!!! I called to cancel my membership and was told that it could only be done by coming in to the gym during staffed hours. Showed up the following Monday to cancel after successfully canceling the staff member told me that I would be charged for another month of membership. WHY? Also told me that I would still have access to the gym for that month. Which I didn’t need I’m moving. I stated that I was never informed that this was policy and I asked for a copy of the gym membership contract and it states nothing about charging you for an extra month when canceling. This is why I opted for a month to month payment option so I wasn’t tied down. The staff member also told me that Ethan the staff member who signed me up was new at time and that’s why I wasn’t informed about a charge for cancellation… I’ve tried to get in touch with corporate office and never got a phone call back after a message had been left.

I was so excited to work out with this gym since they are open 24/7. I had a car wreck and let them know and they said they put my membership on hold. When I was ready to come back I was told my money had already been used . They held it but then released it without my permission. It has been months now and they still attempt to charge my card every month even though I told them I would not be returning because I don't like my money played with. I have started my weight loss journey without them.

Free Wi-Fi, good quality gym equipment, open 24/7, and not super busy. It’s a step above Planet Fitness but not quite up there with eSporta. Regardless, one of the better gyms in Lex. Owner’s really chill too.

To summarize, once I had finally had the opportunity to speak with Derrick, he took care of me.

I would say make sure you speak with the manager if you wish to cancel your membership. That will ensure that the communication isn't missed. He acted fast and was professional once he found my attempts at communicating.

This particular location is a good gym to workout at, especially for the money.

This was my first time trying a gym on my own. I was nervous, but went to give it a look and test it out. Online it shows that a one day free trial is available, which seemed perfect for what I needed. I went in and told the man working that I just wanted to check it out and make sure I liked it before I got a membership. He did not offer the trial, but instead told me I could opt for a day pass for $10.00 then come back after I worked out or tomorrow to sign up for a membership.
The facility is small, but they do have a variety of machines, though a few of them had broken parts. There is not a lot of room to do your own thing off the machines due to the smaller space. If you're looking to stay on machines to workout, this place is good but be aware there may be a bit of a wait.
I went at a busy time, and it was encouraging to see that so many folks enjoyed this gym, but again it is small and felt a bit cramped for me.
Overall, it was something I am proud I did. I feel more comfortable with the idea of going to a gym now. Unfortunately, this one is not for me.

I moved last fall and was interested in joining since it’s 2 minutes from my current apartment. I went in and the guy working gave me a quick tour and then when we walked back to the front desk I told him I was interested in joining. He then completely ignored me and went about addressing a concern with an employee who was having an issue because they evidently didn’t get paid? I stood there and waited 5 minutes and was never addressed again until I was walking out the door. I understand mistakes happen and you want your employees happy but what about the potential customer? I’ll keep driving to planet fitness 🤷🏼‍♀️

I purchased a membership but the gym was closed and I was never able to pick up my key card either time I ever tried since then I moved out of state I've called five times to try to resolve this because where I live at won't let me use their gym since I don't have a key card this location will not call me back despite charging me two months of membership and an annual fee for something I have never even got to use. I would suggest another gym.

I have been a member off and on for years I have been double charged. Sent to collections for a non existent bill. I love the gym and the ppl but the system needs work I'm tired of paying for a membership that I can't use. My key tag doesn't work I can't get any of my issues adressed when everything g gets lined out my key tag stops working days later.

New members , key tags not working ,stood out side in rain trying to get in the door , no hand towels in rest room (Covid ? ) really ! No hand towels in gym period over weekend , will notify health dept. no walk thru at time of membership sign up , no codes for water-massager nothing ! This is why left before looking like no changes !
Called and finally some one answered but no help so have to go in get key tags straight just to be able to get in the door on weekends. Owners you really need to follow up what is or not going on with your business. (4days and no follow up from anyone )

Great facility and staff. There is more than enough equipment to support everything from serious to beginner lifters. Good assortment of cardio equipment as well, that are properly maintained. I have yet to experience a slipping belt while running on the treadmills. Overall great atmosphere and would recommend to anyone looking for a well equipped smaller environment.

PREDATORY BILLING. NOT BBB accredited. There are better options for the price. I haven't been there in over a year, and the owner, Derek, is not willing to cancel my membership without charging for a month extra. If you are attracted to this location by the rates, please take my advice and go a block down the road to LA Fitness. They don't have predatory billing practices. I literally am having to file a formal demand for arbitration to compel them to uphold my rights in the terms and conditions. Think a 6-minute mile is tough? Good luck getting these guys out of your bank account.

We used this gym when we were visiting from out of town and were pleasantly surprised. It was not large but had free weights, squat racks, ropes, bands, boards, TRX straps, kettlebells, foam rollers, sliders, and EVERYTHING we could possibly need for our workout available to us. The guest fee was reasonable and the place was never too packed to get in a lift and get back to our vacation. We will be back again!

This is not a good place. First, I left this gym because I heard the owner talking about her own customers. I always brushed it off until one day a couple in front of me asked about the wifi because it had been out a few days, when they walked away she told her employees how ******* unappreciative people are and how they complain when the get "free wifi" I canceled my membership after this. I saw a recent post by their local gym and commented my experience. They deleted and blocked my account so only good reviews and comments show up. I then got on a friends facebook to see and someone else mentioned they had deleted comments on them as well. I had my friends post about why they delete comments and the owner lied on the comments stating they never delete posts. That was such a lie, she then deleted his comments and blocked him as well.

This place is a con, the reviews are from employees on here and yelp, they delete bad reviews on facebook and the owner claims the customer is lying or wrong and they're right. I had the membership for a few months, decided another gym was cleaner, nicer, and cheaper so I wanted to move gym. I went in and cancelled my contract, but they kept charging my bank card, I called and asked them about it, they played dumb. I had to cancel my bank card and switch banks after that. Then a year later after no communication decide to try and charge me 138 dollars. For not cancelling my contract that I had to pay 2 months membership to cancel and they refused to fax or do over the phone or Internet so had to go there. So I hope they like the money already stolen from myself and the 4 friends of mine this has happened to already, be smart about gyms, this one is not big, not clean, and not worth the money they're going to steal from you, or try to.

Great staff, very friendly, decent prices( 15/month and an annual maintenance charge ) and a reasonable selection of equipment, somewhat light on free weights, but all of the primary ones are there. Great place overall, definitely worth the money!
