Yoga Baum’s YTT was everything I hoped for and more. The small group felt like family, and the instructors each brought their own style and expertise, making the program really well-rounded. We started practice teaching right away (terrifying at first, but so worth it!) and by graduation I felt confident sequencing classes and creating my own teaching style. The showcase classes gave me invaluable real-life experience, and the support from both teachers and fellow students made all the difference. This training challenged me, grew me, and left me excited to teach. So grateful I invested in myself with Yoga Baum! Thank you, Laurie!

Yoga Baum is a welcoming and professional studio that I often recommend, especially for their restorative yoga classes. The instructors create an inclusive environment, and use a trauma-informed approach. Their private sessions are excellent for those recovering from injury, strengthening form, or wanting focused support for both physical and overall wellbeing.

This is my happy place! I love all the instructors here. I frequently recommend this studio to everyone, at all levels of experience, but especially those who are new to yoga. The studio is welcoming, and is a beautiful space to unwind. The in-person and virtual offerings of classes make it so convenient for anyone to fit yoga into their schedule. I frequently take the lunchtime classes, which are 45-minute classes, and are the perfect break in my day.

After four years of chronic pain due to hEDS, I exhausted every pharmaceutical option with zero relief. I needed a new path and decided to try yoga. Clueless but committed, I began private sessions with Megh.
Megh was a revelation. Her guidance wasn't just a treatment—it was a lifeline. She showed me that holistic practices could effectively manage my pain and stress, a stark contrast to my past experiences.
What makes Megh so exceptional is her rare combination of expertise and intellect. She possesses a deep understanding of biofeedback and the ability to apply it with incredible precision. But her talents don't stop there. She can engage in an intelligent conversation on any topic, stimulating my mind as she strengthens my body.

My favorite yoga studio ever! I joined several months after a knee surgery and found all the teachers incredibly knowledgeable. They offered modifications when needed and never made me feel like I had to do poses if I wasn't comfortable. I joined to work on balance, strength, and flexibility. I've improved on all those things and become a part of an amazing community full of kind and authentic people.

A Life-Changing Sanctuary: My Experience with Yoga Baum
I don’t use the word “transformative” lightly, but Yoga Baum has truly changed my life—body, mind, and spirit. From the moment I walked through the doors, I felt something shift inside me. It wasn’t just a yoga class. It was a homecoming. A return to myself.
Before discovering Yoga Baum, I was struggling physically with chronic tension, poor posture, and a lack of strength. Spiritually, I felt disconnected—adrift in a world that constantly pulls us away from stillness and self-awareness. Yoga Baum provided me with more than a solution; it offered a path. Through their classes, teachers, and sacred space, I was able to reconnect with my body, release emotional blocks, and finally feel centered again.
Each class is crafted with deep intention. Whether it’s a dynamic vinyasa flow or a grounding yin practice, the sequencing is thoughtful, the guidance is expert, and the energy is always supportive. I’ve watched my physical body evolve week by week—my flexibility increased, my core strengthened, and my breath deepened. Even more importantly, I’ve cultivated a practice of presence. Yoga Baum taught me how to truly inhabit my body with compassion, not judgment.
What sets this studio apart is not just the quality of instruction—it’s the people. Every single person at Yoga Baum is the absolute best at what they do. The instructors are not only technically gifted, but deeply intuitive. They read the room, they sense your energy, and they meet you exactly where you are. I’ve had teachers here gently guide me through powerful breakthroughs without saying more than a few words. Their presence speaks volumes.
From the front desk to the owners, everyone at Yoga Baum treats you like family. There’s a palpable warmth in the way they greet you, remember your name, and genuinely care about your well-being. There’s no ego here—just a quiet confidence rooted in service and sincerity. You can feel the love and dedication that goes into every detail of the space, from the calming incense and music to the soft lighting and intentional design. It’s not just a studio—it’s a sanctuary.
Spiritually, I’ve found a level of clarity and connection I didn’t know I was missing. Yoga Baum has helped me create space for silence, for surrender, and for self-discovery. I’ve laughed, cried, and sat in stillness on that mat more times than I can count. The experience has opened me up to joy, vulnerability, and inner peace in ways that ripple into every part of my life.
In short, Yoga Baum is more than a studio—it’s a community, a refuge, and a powerful source of healing. If you’re looking for a place to grow physically, emotionally, and spiritually, there is no better place to begin than here. I am forever grateful for this space and every soul who helps bring it to life.

Yoga Baum is not just a Yoga Studio. It’s a Community. It’s the place I go to deepen my practice and to connect with like minded people that I’ve built lasting relationships with. The class schedule provides a ton of variety and flexibility, especially with the option to attend virtually. But that’s not all! There’s events and series and challenges and retreats….
I’m so grateful for Yoga Baum ✨

Been taking private sessions with Abbie till I am familiar with the movements to get into the regular classes and it has been amazing.
She is an awesome instructor who is really in tune with I am going through mentally and physically and is able to do individual movements based on how I am feeling during the session.
The studio has a very warm welcoming presence and highly recommend...

I recently had my first ever Reiki session with Helene at Yoga Baum. I have done many modes of holistic healing and have a lot of experience in this world as I am a health coach myself. Reiki was something I have been wanting to try for a while but wanted to make sure I found the right person to do it with. Helene came highly recommended and after experiencing Reiki with her it's very obvious why. This was one of the most powerful healing experiences I've had. From scheduling and communication prior to the appointment, to the atmosphere of the room where the Reiki took place, to the actual energetic work, I was extremely impressed by every step involved. Helene provided a safe and healing space where I was able to open up to her about vulnerable things going on in my life. She was very intuitive with her energy, and she helped me to cleanse and let go of so many emotions I was holding onto. It was extra special that I got to have this first session on my birthday. I can't thank Helene enough for the healing Reiki session. I will absolutely be going back and would highly recommend her!

This is a truly wonderful yoga studio! Every instructor is great and the classes are fantastic. Classes here feel more like a traditional yoga experience than large workout classes, which I love. I highly recommend this studio to everyone looking for a personal and meaningful yoga practice.

I just found this yoga studio from a friend’s recommendation and now I’ve done two classes that have been fun and challenging. I really enjoy the practice here with Abbey. The space is beautiful and warm and welcoming. Everyone I’ve come across has been so friendly and kind! They have both virtual and in person classes and a variety of intensity levels. The classes are comfortable, you feel safe and able to ask questions or for help. I’ve found my place for yoga in Louisville and I highly recommend it!

I contacted Yoga Baum to organize a private, on-site yoga lesson for a bachelorette party and had a really great experience. The owner and our instructor both made planning very easy, and they supplied everything we needed for class. The class itself was great - everyone in our group agreed we would go to Helene's classes if we lived in Louisville.

I have attended Yoga Baum for the past year. The experience has been a true pivotal moments in my life. Currently I have lost 32lbs through healthy eating, regular yoga attendance and practice. My family would say I have more joy in my life and overall less anxious. All of the changes started with Yoga. I had never done Yoga before coming to Yoga Baum. The instructors are very knowledgeable offer you opportunities to learn more every session. Laurie & Dasha hold a special place in my heart as two of the most encouraging and kindest teachers I have met. They taught me to "notice what comes up" and "remember this is your practice and no one else's". This is not just a Yoga Studio but a community of success and support that I value more and more every time I am welcomed home as family. Thank You for helping me see the light in me-Namaste
