I would be very wary of giving this company your banking or credit card information. My husband and I tried to cancel our contract when it was up (it's not really a cancellation, you are just not having it renewed for another year) and have had a very difficult time. Despite completing all the appropriate steps, our account is still being charged. We have gone up there in person, called, and emailed. When we go in person we are told our account is cancelled and that we will be refunded for the unauthorized charges. Not only were we not refunded, but our account was charged again. Calls and emails are not returned. We have been assured our account is cancelled, but when we ask for some kind of proof, through email, it's never provided.

My experience with this gym has been deeply unsatisfactory and reflects poorly on their business practices. After relocating out of state and completing my contract, I attempted to cancel my membership due to the availability of significantly better fitness facilities in my new area.

Initially, I visited a local branch, only to be told that cancellations could only be processed at the original location where I signed up. I then called that location, where I was informed that cancellations must be done in person—despite the fact that I had moved 14 hours away. When I explained my situation, I was told the only alternative was to send a certified letter.

I complied and sent the certified letter, which was confirmed as received. However, I continued to be charged. Upon following up, I was told that although the letter had been received, it still needed to be forwarded to their corporate office. Only after further calls and unnecessary delays was my membership finally canceled.

This entire process felt deliberately obstructive, seemingly designed to prolong billing and extract additional payments. It’s disheartening to see a company resort to such tactics, prioritizing revenue over customer service and integrity. I would strongly caution others against doing business with an organization that treats its customers in this manner.

Liked this gym a lot because it was close to my house.. but came back from deployment pretty disappointed. Have an active and fit membership and they no longer acknowledge the program even though multiple Anytime fitness in the local and surrounding areas do. Continued to pay my active and fit membership knowing I would use the gym once back home for good. Never received an email or anything saying they no longer accepted the membership. I asked how much a normal membership was monthly and they said $50-$60 which is a complete joke for the size of the gym, outdated machines, and limited amount of certain equipment due to the gym not having it or it being broken like the stair master.

great gym in a great location. i wish it had some updated equipment though, like a hip thrust machine and smith machines that go all the way down! a hip thrust machine would be a great investment considering there are multiple upper body machines that have doubles. they also could benefit from more sanitation products. the old manager had rags for us, but now we barely even have paper towels. the wipes don’t feel like they fully clean and i want to make sure i clean up before/after myself! i also never got my free month for referring a friend so that’s disappointing

Most of the treadmills are broken and have been for months, barely anything ever gets fixed. Apparently under a new owner and things will be fixed by beginning of next year, but they’ve been saying stuff will be fixed next month for months now. Been a member since January of 2024, only reason I’d recommend is because it’s close, nothing else. Horribly overpriced for a very small gym and very limited equipment.

I first joined in 2010. My contract locked me in at that price for the life of my membership (under $30 a month). Anytime Fitness has always been small and felt like a neighborhood. Never judgemental. Current rates are higher (and in violation of my original agreement, my dues are increasing to $44 per month). Otherwise, I'd give 5 stars. Some equipment has required replacement for years, but is still safe to use. The rope handles do need to be replaced immediately though.

Been here twice. Doors were locked both during business hours. Called left messages no one ever returned my calls. If you want members suggest you be there or return calls when messages are left. Joined another gym. Your loss

I have been going to this gym for several years each morning. It is always VERY CLEAN!

I do have to state, there are treadmills that have been in need of repair for years! There are mornings where this does h8nder our workouts.
There should be no reason the machines should be down for years!

Great gym - lots of space and never have to wait on equipment given the depth and variety they have. Very clean and the management, Ben, is very helpful, friendly and engaging. I travel back and forth from NYC and this place blows the doors off my gym in Manhattan. I’m pretty picky and this place delivers!

Anytime Fitness South Bossier has been my gym since I was 18. Happily I can say 6 1/2 years later I am still there and love it! Staff is nice, gym is clean, the atmosphere is great!
