Been here for years, I don't even think about going anywhere else, unless I have to move. Melissa has been managing this gym excellently forever now. Always being cleaned, always have cleaning supplies,tenantive staff, and a good arrangement of working equipment available and various services.

I visit this location once and the equipment was very old rusted and outdated. So I called to cancel the membership which Melissa told me I had to send an email to do so. A week go by and decide to keep it without sending the email. I called back to ask how to set up the key for entry and Melissa says she remembered I wanted to cancel and she just went ahead and cancelled on her end today… she previously said it wasn’t possible to cancel via phone. Long story short she was so negative and rude, over talked me the whole conversation and when I tried to ask questions she said I was pestering her about a membership……. It was so weird that I’m writing my first review to let everyone know she’s a terrible agent and the reason I will not be signing up for anytime fitness…

By far my favorite gym I’ve ever been a part of! The staff and owner are extremely friendly and helpful whenever needed! The equipment is always up to date and never broken. I took a tour with my wife before she joined this gym. Their staff is nice and respectful. The equipment is all clean and in working order. It doesn't have the usual intimidating gym atmosphere (you know what I'm talking about). I would definitely recommend this gym for anyone who works and/or lives in Meraux. Side note: they have never failed to answer my phone calls and that is a BIG plus for me.

I attended anytime fitness on an early saturday morning where their was literally 4 others working out which was perfect for someone like me who doesn't like big crowds.... I love the upkeep of the gym and the wide selections of equipment as well..the membership fee is affordable and I plan on being a member for the rest of this year!!!

Myself and a ton of other members were recently put into collections after a state and nationwide mandate to freeze memberships since Anytime fitness gyms were closed and not operational starting the 17th of March. I don’t know about you guys but I’m not paying membership fees for working out in my back yard. I loved this gym but I’m pretty disappointed that Ive been out into COLLECTIONS for $170 Without any call or explanation. Upsetting to say the least.

Wow. I didnt expect to see this in Chalmette. This is bigger then all the AFs I've seen in the New Orleans area. An AF with a dedicated decline bench. This gym IMHO shpuld knock out a few of the walls to make a more open area. The gym still has machines and benches in small rooms. It would look bigger if it were one continuous space like how 24 hour fitness does it. But more equipment here and more size then the AFs Ive seen in New Orleans. Im very surprised to see a higher quality AF here. good to know

Anytime Fitness Meraux is a great place to workout. There is more space at this Anytime, a larger selection of machines and free weights, and a knowledgeable staff of administration and personal trainers. I travel regularly, and i use anytime fitness gyms all over the country. The location in Meraux is by far the biggest and best of my experiences.

The atmosphere here is very comfortable, and the staff and trainers here are always around to help and answer any questions. They offer many great classes that fit all ages and all different levels of fitness, from beginner to expert. They have all the equipment that I could ever need to get a great workout in, and there is enough equipment here that I never feel like I am waiting in line. Nice, clean, no hassle,,, I would recomend this gym to anyone. The owner seems to live there and he responds to the members needs immediately, I see consistent signs of cleaning, machine repair, and improvements. If I had any complaints they are few,,, the parking is very tight (might not be within their control) there is plenty of room in the cardio areas but the free weight areas can be a bit cramped, and this will sound egotistical but there aren't enough 45 lb plates (The owner said that many have gotten broken), oh and a water fountain would be nice. Don't get me wrong...I really like this gym and it's staff and I have no plans to go else where,.
