This Anytime Fitness is fantastic. From top to bottom, it is impeccably run. Not only was it clean and well kept, but the staff was more than accommodating. Janice, in particular, was wonderful to work with. If you're looking for a great place to train, this is it! Highly recommend!

I had to renew mu membership because I switched insurance companies. Davin was very friendly and helpful. It took a few minutes because People's Health is different from Silver Sneakers. He kept at it and got me enrolled,with a new key fab. I would definitely recommend the gym,especially Davin. He couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. We had a good chat too. Very good experience all around.

I signed for anytime fitness because the website implies there is group fitness classes available as well as personal coaching. The whole point was i needed training and that is what the site implies When I went to the gym I was told "we don't offer those service, we don't have those people. So I tried to drop but learned that even though you can sign up online you can only drop at your home gym and must do it within 3 days even though it is a 30 day trial. So if you know what you are doing and don't need any form of training sign up. However if you need any help or support, check the club you want to sign up with as the website is BS every club is different.

Equipment, other amenities and layout lend to a great environment to have an intense or casual workout. Clientele are generally very courteous and astute about the surroundings and allowing other patrons to workout at their pace with little interference. You can mind your own business or usually find another like hearted person who to converse with while working out.

I think this one is by far the smallest anytime fitness I’ve been to in New Orleans. Not enough of equipment and space. Also the vending machine doesn’t have any pre-workout nor protein like others. Other than that, it’s okay.

Made an appt to tour the Metairie Anytime Fitness gym on Sunday, 02/18/24, 8:30 am. Confirmed to their text confirmation and it responded again. Got there early AND waited nine minutes past my appointment time but no one ever showed up. I texted, called the phone numbers on the door and left a voice message, and then emailed when I got home. Now it's Monday evening, far more than 24 hours later and no one has responded to any of my communication. Will be joining a different gym.

I joined using the silver sneakers program, and I didn’t know what to expect. However, Janice was so welcoming as was everyone else I met. It made me feel right at home. They have a good selection of machines. I’m going to enjoy belong to the facility.

Absolute scam. Told them I was going into the military when I signed up, they said it would be no problem to cancel once I do. They’ve been wrongfully charging me since August of last year and refuse to cancel my membership or issue a refund for a service I haven’t used in months.

If you plan of ever canceling your gym membership prepare to be trapped with this anytime fitness for the long haul. They will not let you cancel whatsoever I called repeatedly to cancel my membership. Left multiple messages. Spoke the lady many times about canceling and how I wasn't living in metairie anymore and I was not using the gym and still being billed for it. Her answer was come in and pay some money to settle while I was working out of town. So needless to say terrible service, total scam and $ 1000 on your credit report if you decide to cancel and This Anytime does not want to let you go. They will just blow you off and attempt to keep billing you for a service you are NOT even using.

There's no reason you can't achieve any of your fitness goals here. I did! The trainer I had was great. The hours are obviously flexible. Atmosphere is welcoming and people keep to their own for the most part. Yes, some members don't wipe the machines down, but you are free to do that before and after you use it if you are concerned, and if I see a weight lying around I'll just put it back - occasionally people forget, and it's not a big deal (this in response to another reviewer). The staff really seem to do their best to keep the place nice and it shows. In busy hours it is very busy, but patrons are accommodating. I would recommend this gym to anybody who simply wants to work out.

The new renovation are fantastic and I simply love it. Parking was a problem at one time but it seems that has improved. The club is very clean every now and than I have to pick up stuff off the floor. But that's to be expected after hours. One of my biggest pet peas in this club is how unconsidered some of the members are. I constantly see members every night not sanitizing equipment after using it. Also another issue is I have to frequently remove weight off of equipment. This problem has been brought to management attention as well. I just do my part as a member and try to help the staff out when I'm in the club.

The review about the staff needing work...believe it. BEWARE getting a membership with this gym. The employees do not thoroughly explain membership & contract. I also spoke with an employee, Janice, about the issue. She was condescending the entire call then when I tried describing who I signed my contract with (short girl, brown hair, white) she proceeded to tell me that majority of them look like that. I didn’t know Anytime fitness had a “specific” type of hiring but that could definitely be an issue if true. She proceeds to hang up in my face without giving me the manager’s info that I asked for.

Great place to work out if you don't mind the small area. Most of the patrons are serious and here to work out. Very little idle chatter or rack hogs. Might have to wait but I've learned to adapt to speed up work out times. Also just a side note. My fiancee works out here as well and she has told me that she never feels uncomfortable at this location.

Decent, but not necessarily the best location. Sometimes pieces of equipment are down for longer than the indicated 48 hours (Maybe due to COVID?). Mats in the stretching area need replacing as they are visibly worn and have a certain smell. Additionally, there is no spray in the stretching area to properly clean the mats after each use (gross).

Interesting gym in Metairie fairly close to transcontinental. They have good diversity of equipment despite the smaller size. They have a dedicated flat bench. They have good cardio equipment. Its hard to workout due to Kobe's helicopter crash, But if I were into it, They have plenty of places to squat. Deadlift spaces are available. If you live in Metairie, This gym is good

Here @ 4:45am and have the gym entirely to myself. My first time here and I am impressed. It's set up well and very clean. It is set up for serious fitness and light bodybuilding. It has everything you need for bodybuilding but not as much as other anytimes I've been to, namely New Orleans East Anytime, which is one of the best anytimes for bodybuilding that I've been to.

I like the amount of locations and selection of equipment. There are different training classes as well depending on the location. Some offer tanning booths. It's 24/7 availability which is great. Downside is it's a bit more expensive than some of the other gyms..

In town on business for a few days so I stopped in to negotiate paying for a few days of staffed access. Talked to CJ and he explained the details and I was good to go. Popped in for a workout a few minutes ago during staffed hours and stood outside ringing the doorbell like an idiot and no staff were to be found. Waste of my time. Great for members I'm sure, no good for travelers.
