I signed up for a membership at the gym but my membership was moved to a Texas location due that I stay in Pantego Texas and that is the gym that I have been dealing with for a year .throughout the whole membership for billing inquiries and everything else with late payments as well. I cancel my membership last month with my Pantego Texas location gave a 30 day notice and all. All payment are paid in full through the 3rd party as well that they deal with ABC financial services.Pantego Anytime Fitness has confirmed that my account is paid in full with no payment due. I got a phone call yesterday which was Friday March 20 from this gym stating that they were calling me because I owe them a 150 dollar with no proof or paperwork for this amount I owe. Beware of this location it's seems like they are trying to get unannounced money meaning making up charges for their company profits from us as consumers.

I had a terrible experience with Anytime Fitness regarding their cancellation process. I followed all the required steps to cancel my membership, yet they continue to charge me and won’t stop calling, demanding more money. It feels like they deliberately make it difficult for customers to leave, which is completely unacceptable.
Their customer service has been unhelpful, and instead of resolving the issue, they just keep pushing for more payments. This is a classic example of shady business practices, and I would strongly caution anyone considering a membership here. Be very careful with their contracts and billing—once you’re in, they’ll do everything they can to keep charging you.
I do NOT recommend this gym!

Love the environment and updates machines and atmosphere. I usually don’t like crowds but the people that come into anytime don’t hog the weight and machines and definitely don’t look down on one other or judge you. If anything they encourage. Definitely a vibe at the desiard st. location in Monroe. Proud to start my journey back at anytime fitness for the first time in 8 years since I worked out at the anytime fitness in Crowley. Super pumped to start up my journey again. For sure an A+ gym environment.

This gym sucks. Having a 1 year contract in the 1rst place wasn't smart on my part. But they mandate it unlike planet fitness. Which is $10 a month. Here they gouge you at more like $50 a month. And don't fall on hard times.... whatever you do. These people will call and harass you until you pay just to shut them up. So glad my contract is up and this nightmare is over. I won't EVER be back to ANY Anyte fitness.

The cardio machines are dated but all working, which is something to be said for old stuff, lol. The floor plan is spread despite being a smaller gym and well organized. The free weights are older as well and again, have a true feel to them. Plenty of wipes, plenty of open equipment, and very clean bathroom. Didn't see shower rooms though, which is probably the only negative but I might be wrong.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I paid for the cancellation fee and I’m still getting billed every month!!!! I’m still waiting on refund and it’s been well over a month!!! Workers can’t NEVER give me a explanation, and always tell me management will contact me and I still haven’t heard anything!!!
