Give literally any other gym your business.
Wanted to get a workout in while I was visiting for the weekend. This Anytime Fitness was just a couple blocks from the AirBnB so I walked over.
I asked how much for a day pass, and was told by a manager or owner that the gym does not allow non-local residents to use the facility. I asked if there was anything I could do to get a workout in, and the manager said no.
I politely asked why non-local residents aren't allowed in - it's a chain Anytime Fitness and in my 10 years of training I've never experienced such a policy. All the manager said was "we have our reasons".
I didn't waste any more time there, and I suggest you don't waste your time here either.

Gym is pretty clean, but it is small; space is limited. They do try to have at least isolation machines for each major muscle/group, but they do not have the most up-to-date machine selection.

You can't really ask for too much more, seeing as they are the only gym in the neighborhood. So they get 4 stars for keeping what they do have clean and fully functional.

A wonderfully managed gym. Clean, organized, friendly owners and staff. My trainer Caleb is superb! This gym has all the equipment for any workout regiment, and all the equipment is clean and in perfect working order. Clean bathrooms and know two are shower rooms too. There are snacks and a drink vending machine with great offerings.

I was at this gym for three years and it was always very pleasant until recently. The gym now has owners. I had an incident today with Mark one of the co-owners and he snapped and threatened me and was yelling and cursing at me in front of other members. It was total out of line and uncalled for.
I have reported him and I’m waiting on a call from the other owner to discuss what happen today. I am a paying member who has never caused trouble, I rack my weights, I clean the machines and I have never had a confrontation with anyone in there. I really don’t know why he snapped today. If he did have a problem with me then he should have pulled me aside and talked to me like an adult and like an owner should.

Person answered the phone was completely dismissive and rude , I asked about a drop-in pass which he responded “that’s not how this works “ if you don’t live in the area you can't come here. Which I know isn’t true. Then he hung up.

This gym is convenient, clean and the staff, Ben in particular, are always kind and courteous. The members, for the most part, practice exceptional gym etiquette and one doesn't have to worry about influencers filming and hogging equipment, a huge plus!

I've been coming to this location for years; the facility is/has been always clean, the equipment is great and current, and the staff has always been kind and considerate. Well, today, the co-owner, Victoria, went above and beyond to assist me tracking down an earring that my girlfriend believed she lost while there the night before. I'm telling you she checked both inside and outside in the parking lot, as well as checking the trash that was collected between when we had been there and at the time I returned inquiring about the missing piece. I highly recommend this location; you'll get a good workout in while being treated with kindness and care. Five stars.

I was verbally accosted by a regular member for attempting to use the heavy bag, claiming that they that they were there first, when they were clearly not. But instead of arguing about it, I went and did calisthenics for 30 min before returning to the heavy bag. The person was still on it using it in a very strange way, and I asked them if I could work in or when they were going to be finished. I was then verbally asulted with slurs as to the color of my skin and sexual orientation. My reply to this verbal onslaught was to sit on the ground and tell them I would wait for them to finish. The person then began to scream for help, much to my surprise. I was sitting on the ground an extremely no threatening place to be talking in a very calm voice, asking them, " In what way was I bothering them?" A very non threatening question while sitting on the ground.

This club took my enrollment money and then kicked me out without an explanation. The member that verbally assaulted me is still there on a daily basis, according to multiple friends of mine that still go there.

This is THE spot! After having a series of Gym complications - Anytime Fitness made it so easy. They gave me a week's trial to see if it was a good fit, which was really helpful. They have all the essential equipment, and keep adding new stuff. They have free bananas and a really fancy body scanner that was interesting - AND you can go 24 7 which works great for an artsy freelancer like myself. Big shoutout to Ben, for brining in the positive energy & knowledge :)

I highly advise against ever using this gym or trusting their staff. It is the unfriendliest place on earth with terrible customer service. I called to cancel months ago, was told it would be taken care of, then noticed charges a few months later. When I called to ask why I was met with skepticism that it had taken me this long to notice the charges, then told that anybody on the staff would have told me to email my cancellation. This was absolutely not true as the person I spoke to on the phone never mentioned such a thing. Don't go to this gym. They couldn't care less about their customers.

Unable to visit and use the facilities due to having a viral infection, my decision. I had checked the place out online before I left Scotland to visit NOLA for the month of October 2023. The place looks great online and the staff appear very friendly from their website. I passed a few times as I was living 'around the corner' on French. The car park was immaculate but still I wouldn't chance going in. I might yet get one last visit to NOLA and will hope that I can use the facilities.

Clean gym and everyone seems to clean up after themselves on the equipment which is unfortunately uncommon! The equipment is nice and in good shape and the staff is friendly and sweet, I forgot my water bottle and the vending machine wasn’t accepting apple pay (it normally does, there was just a glitch) and the employee got me a water himself which was very kind. Great place, I recommend it to everyone looking for a place to workout!

I’ve never had such a hard time trying to join a gym. Even during staffing hour, no one answers the door nor phone. They say you can join online yet, they don’t inform you on how to obtain the key fob that allows for you to enter the gym. I’ve left a message and no one returned my phone call. I am afraid to sign up online because I may not ever be able to enjoy the services that I would be paying for.

Edit: I was able to talk with some members who checked the front office and no-one was there during the staffing hours. So, how do I join AND obtain a key card to access me entry if no one is in the office? Smh

Good facility.Clean, good equipment, lots of different machines. Fresh fruit bowl daily. Special classes offered and simply a clean well kept up fitness center. Cost covered by my healt plan is also a plus. Have not had problems with over crowding and have always been able to use the equipment that I wanted. Never a bad experience. And they are always open.

Visitor from out of town and walked all the way there in the heat to then be turned away and told to go to another gym because there are no guest passes or trials for visitors, even people considering moving here. The old white man I spoke with was disrespectful and not understanding so I will never be coming back here and I advise you go to his suggestion, Downtown Fitness. He said it was a “10 minute walk” which actually was 30 minutes. Never again.

I'm really just writing a review of some of these reviewers. The gym is great and the staff is great as the previous reviews from actual members indicate. However, these people who get all butthurt because a local business doesn't want to give away it's services to tourists passing through are absurd. OF COURSE free trial memberships are for locals only, they are for potential customers to TRY the gym before they sign up, not for all the air b&b's in the neighborhood to have a "free" gym to send their guests to. Sheesh.

Called about a guest pass and was told only friends of members were allowed guest passes. Even offered to pay for a day pass and was told I couldn't. FYI, even if I was a member coming in from out of town I would be allowed to use the facility. If I'm traveling, I want to know what your gym is like so I know if I want to join. This is bad business because it keeps people from wanting to become a member of Anytime Fitness even in their local town simply because they know how they are treated by the company when traveling to other locations.

It might be hard to notice as the sign is kind of small and the entrance is tucked away on the side of the building.

Very cool gym, super convenient, even has a punching bag and a studio with a large projection screen. I noticed other reviews complaining about the free week policy; it says so in the email that you have to be a local resident. As a resident I definitely don't want a bunch of tourists coming in using up the equipment and never showing up again. Some seriously dumb, stubborn people out there.
