Gym needs cleaning, machines have been down for a while, water leaks in the roof. Men’s bathroom absolutely stinks of pee.
Also all the treadmills are down 2 out of the 5 work and have been down for months.

Tried to tell me I had to come in person to cancel luckily they only had my digital debit card I just canceled and moved on with my life. Never give these locations your direct card info. If your bank lets you use digital debit cards take advantage of it.

Buyer beware!! I was a member for 10 years, I hurt my back and needed to cancel my membership (having surgery 11-29) They forced me to come in to sign a cancellation form and claim it's a 30 day notice, meaning I have to continue to pay for 30 more days even if I have not been able to go for 2 months due to my back.
Don't waste your money!!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Stay away. You can't cancel and when you do, they still want the next month's payment. They unknowingly transfer your membership if you visit a club that is not your original location and the clubs don't communicate with each other. I had to cancel w/ 2 separate clubs, while they still want payment and late fees. Mansfield location is trash! They sent me to collections even when I had canceled. Good luck getting someone on the ph.

Love the gym. Free weights is good. Machines too. Only complaint is the treadmills are trash. There's 5 but only 2 work and they all need repair or totally replaced with new ones.

Had the worst time trying to cancel my membership. Thankful to be out of the contract with them and I’ll never go back as long as they’re under the same ownership. Clearly this is a consistent issue with them since MANY reviews say the same thing.

They will not allow you to cancel your membership even in a time of crisis. Many people lost their jobs during this “GLOBAL” pandemic and how does AF show their humanity? By not allowing people to cancel their membership and continually take money from their accounts to the point that they are causing overdraft fees to build up

Free squat rack doesn't have the set up to do hip thrusts from. It's in a weird spot and to use the bar for hip thrusts you have to take it to another location in the gym and then return it, all while transferring your weights too. Not going there on leg/glute day again.

The staff here is always the worst to deal with when you have issues that come up. The machines take forever to get fixed when they break. The bathrooms are always nasty. The equipment feels greasy all the time.

When I first signed up everything was good until I tried to cancel my membership. They keep saying my end date is another date and I know what 12 months are. They are stealing my money and refuse to answer their phone. Find another gym do not go to them!!!!

Yikes. I'm not sure what metric people are using for 'clean', but I shudder to think what their homes might look like if they describe this AF branch as such! There was trash in the cupholders, and what looked like months of built-up dirt in all the little cracks and crevices of the machine I was using (a treadmill).
The 'Life Fitness' logo looked like it was edged in brown! It was clear no one had given the machine more than a cursory wipe-down in probably forever.
It wasn't very crowded at least, and the machines were up-to-date (a much better selection than those at my local AF, which haven't been updated in many years), but I'd rather use an old machine that's seen a wash rag in the past week or so than a fancy one with caked-on dust and dirt and trash in the cupholders.
The owner/staff really need to look into these details; customers see these machines up-close-and-personal, and despite visiting several times over the course of two weeks, the situation did not improve, indicating this is a chronic issue and not just a matter of me coming in on 'a bad day'.
