Used to be my favorite location. Now it's crappy. I don't know who's managing but this is far from the clean, cool gym it used to be. Roaches in the bathroom. No tissue. No sanitizer. And dead silent.

Started a membership two weeks ago through my insurance company. Paid a deposit, application fee, and first month’s membership fee in advance. I have left multiple messages, called repeatedly, and stopped by the location during posted staffed hours many times and never have anyone return my calls or show up to give me access to the gym. This is the SECOND time this location has burned me as I tried a few years ago to do the same thing with the exact same result. Shame on me for believing that maybe a business that bad is still active due to changing management or at least practices. Clearly nothing has changed.

In October 2019, my husband and I requested our membership cancellation because we had to move to Florida. The manager told us to drop the keys there and he would cancel it. I trusted his word and left.
My husband’s membership was canceled but mine not. I called several times asking for a cancellation but I was never heard. They charged my husband’s credit card for 2 years. My husband lost his credit card and Anytime fitness Shreveport sent my “case” to COLLECTION. Yes, COLLECTION.
I called the new manager who agreed it was not fair and guaranteed me he would fix it. I waited for weeks but he hasn’t done ANYTHING and now he doesn’t answer my calls. I have left several voicemails but he doesn’t return my calls either.
After 2 years of free money, I decided to pay another $187.00 because I have been threatened by this Credit company and afraid to have my credit score ruined. I feel like I was stolen by anything fitness Shreveport.

Good luck with your work ethics, Mr. Manager!

UPDATE: I see the new manager wrote an answer to my review saying the gym is under new administration. This is the SAME person who said would solve my problem but ignores my calls. DONNOT BE FOOLED!!!!

This gym is a joke I moved away and have been trying to cancel my membership for over 6 months they never answer the phone and I have left many many messages and have not gotten the first call back they do bad business ! And will be reporting them to the better business Bureau

I like most Anytime Fitness locations but will never use them again. Apparently Anytime Fitness is a loose organization of privately owned gyms. I had been a member for several years so I fulfilled the 1-year obligation, cancelled my membership, turned in keys, everything yet they kept charging my account. I didn't pay attention and let it keep charging me for awhile long after I had moved far away. I change CC's and they aren't able to continue charging me. IT GETS TURNED OVER TO COLLECTIONS. So now my credit score may be damaged because of a GYM membership not being properly cancelled by staff. Who turns it over to collections? The gym owner who supposedly is the 3rd owner in 4 years.

DO NOT USE THEM, THEY WILL TRY TO RUIN YOUR CREDIT.

Most depressing gym I’ve been to. Every day the manager keeps one tv on news about the January 6 attack on the capital and the other on news telling everyone how scary Omicron is. The water fountain has been down. No water pressure in the men’s room. The extra bathroom is for management only. Signs say don’t monopolize an area or equipment but it’s almost impossible to use the back left area and equipment because management is practicing his fancy martial arts routines. Honestly pay a quarter of the fees and go to Planet Fitness if you must. I pay less at Plex and that gym is great!

Orrr.... capitalize on the old style look and market it as a retro gym 👌 some decorations from the 80s and boom 💥 you got a great franchise

So very clean and recently undated . Such a beautiful Gym. The New owner, Teresa Meyer is very friendly and knowledgeable and a personal trainer herself. Hands down I will use this location any time I travel to Shreveport.

It's okay. I have been to a lot of Anytime Fitness gyms and this is one of the least accommodating I've been to. There aren't enough machines for each muscle group, there are only 2 spray bottles to wipe down equipment with (and no reusable towels, you have to waste a lot of paper towels to clean anything), and the yoga mats were poor quality. I'd like to see this location add more to its facilities in the future.

This gym is horribly managed. Staff never available. Cleaning supplies and paper towels aways out, trash overflowing, dirty, saw 2 roaches. Never gets new equipment. Don't waste your money at this location.

SO far, i've applied to 7 days free online. It gave me a conformation code sent by my email. I have been trying to call them, but every time i try to call the, it goes to voicemail. They obviously do not care about their customers. & by the way, the voice mail recording told me to leave a message with my number so that they could contact me back. And yet, i still haven't heard anything from them.
