I’m a Dad of 3 young kids that are in the process of moving to Louisiana for a fresh start. My oldest son is autistic and his FAVORITE yoga swing ripped during the move. I spoke with the owner of Blue Sky Yoga who couldn’t have been supportive and understanding of my situation. She’s assisting me with hopefully a personal friend of hers that can help. If someone is genuine and kind, you should praise them. Thank you Blue Sky Yoga

As a beginner in yoga, I was somewhat apprehensive; but Ms. Donna is a gem and was patient and encouraging, as well as the other class participants. I'm looking forward to this new journey in YOGA.

I visit a lot of yoga studios and I mean A LOT! Because I’ve taken classes for so many years, my expectations are high. I’m not looking for perfection but for a safe and thoughtful session with challenge and great transitions. I was thrilled, when based on only 2 yelp reviews, I was able to find an amazing place. First of all, Donna, the owner and teacher was very welcoming on the phone. She totally got that I was in town for work for one night only and never put the sales pitch on me. She just wanted me to come and get the knots out of my back after a six hour drive.
Her studio is stunning. From the stained concrete floors, to the gray blue walls that changed colors as the sun was going down to the amazing wood cathedral ceiling with gentle lights strung across the room, I felt ensconced in comfort. I saw the shelves fully stocked with yoga equipment. The music was soothing. The participants, who were clearly “regulars” went out of their way to greet me and made room for me.
She made a quick announcement about an upcoming event where a master yogi was coming to town and encouraged the group not to miss this event.
We started class. Her directions were clear, easy to follow and she moved from one part of the room so we all knew what we were doing next. One pose was totally out of my range because my hip flexors were so tight from the car ride. She came behind me and gently got me into the pose. It was awesome. I felt fierce and accomplished. The final resting pose was capped off when she placed a cool, clean stone on each person’s forehead. I had never experienced that before and it was lovely!
She’s moving to a new place. I will definitely track her down.
PS the class price was totally affordable and worth every penny!

Professional certified instructors who lead you in a challenging but safe practice, with awareness of listening to your body, reminding you that yoga is a practice not a competition. Instructors actively work the class, teaching and assisting students in poses. Blue Sky is a loving inclusive environment with a variety of classes. Vinyasa classes are heated.

Has become my 2nd home! All of the instructors truly care about their students, and desire to help them grow in their practice. There is also a wide variety of classes to suit everyone's needs, and the new student special is a wonderful deal! If you haven't practiced at Blue Sky yet, what are you waiting for?!?! Such a special place!

Awesome studio! The inside is very open with a considerable amount of natural light, spacious, and generous selection of equipment to use on site. Also available for sale are a limited number of clothing items, water, and mats for rent. The facility is heated to around 88 F for most classes and a humidifier is used as well. The staff is very friendly and open to questions. The best option to talk though is before a class as the studio is not manned all day. Go online and find a class time then show up about 15 minutes before to talk with one of the teachers.
