When I decided to give BXF a try, I was at a point in my life where I really needed an outlet that made me feel good. A place where I could push myself a bit, shut everything else off, and also treat myself to something I had never done before. Ford really delivered for me. Ford is a treasure and a rare find. After moving back to Louisiana in 2016, I spent years looking for a trainer who strikes the perfect balance of pushing me to my limits while watching my form like a hawk. Since working with Ford, I feel stronger and more capable across the board — lifting, pressing, pulling, and moving with better form and confidence than I ever have.
Encouragement from him is an immediate boost in confidence to keep improving — he has an uncanny ability to say exactly the right thing when you're not quite sure if you can go even heavier on that trap bar deadlift. His attention to detail in personalized training is obvious from the moment you walk in — every session is intentional and built with growth in mind. That same care extends to his gym which is hands down the cleanest, best-equipped space I've ever trained in.

Best private/semi-private gym in the city of New Orleans. Every piece of equipment is high end, the facility is always clean, and every coach is highly trained and extremely professional.
Rosie has been great to work with. Her boxing/strength classes are always high energy, it is never the same class, and she customizes the strength session to your goals. I have lost over 20 pounds working with Rosie, and I feel like I am in the best shape I have been in a very long time.

I visited Body by Ford while on vacation in New Orleans. It was by far the best experience I’ve had working with a personal trainer and/or visiting a gym. The entire team was welcoming and accommodating, building me personalized sessions despite only visiting for a few days.
Beyond the amazing staff, the facility was immaculate. Equipment was brand new, lots of space, and was able to try some new exercises and machines. I loved the space, and I’m eager to go back and visit (fortunately I have time for one more session!).

I absolutely loved my workouts with Ford. Although they at times felt like torture in the moment, Ford’s approach, encouragement, and sense of humor made it all bearable.
He offered a challenging session every time, never disappointed, and yet made it enjoyable. I looked forward to my sessions after work and on weekends.
Then COVID hit and working out changed. But, Ford made incredible accommodations and prioritized an exemplary safety protocol, including regular communication on any policy changes. He made it a priority and I always felt safe.
Body by Ford (BXF) is the premier personal training studio in New Orleans!
Unfortunately for me I moved, and I have yet to find any gym that even comes close.

I have always had a difficult time staying focused on working out and staying in shape. I have tried multiple gyms, classes, and types of exercises to no luck. It has been two and a half years since I first walked into Body by Ford and I genuinely can’t say enough about Ford. When we started, he took the time to listen to my medical history, my current challenges, and what I hoped to achieve. His programming was tailored to my body; he pushed me when I could be pushed and was smart about how we tackled my core and lower body. He is very engaged during our workouts, always making sure that we are working in a smart and productive manner. Since working with Ford, I’ve seen incredible changes in my body, my strength, and most importantly my health.
I think it’s important to mention that everyone’s situation is different. For me, Ford was a very important piece that helped it all come together. I started my fitness journey here about a year ago, and I have achieved spectacular results. Prior to joining, I did bodyweight exercises every now and then with infrequent trips to the gym with no particular structure.

My experience with Ford has been awesome. Coming from a military background I have worked out, but the gym was a new type of workout for me.I needed direction in the goals I wanted to accomplish physically but just didn’t know how to do that. Ford has definitely gotten me towards my goals and constantly adding to the list every time we have a session as well as continuing to get better with previous goals. Sessions are amazing with great energy, I love the get at it, and go for it attitude he always has during the sessions. The gym has a great atmosphere as well.And whenever I have a question about anything regarding my eating or workout he’s always giving advice and information. I'm a 26 year old female who teaches in New Orleans. Despite my busy schedule Ford was flexible with me and worked to provide opportunities so I could work out, whether that meant opening up shop before school to get an early bird workout in, or splitting an hour-long training into two 30-minute sessions after school so I could get the most out of my workout.
His club is clean, well kept and includes a wide variety of training equipment. The club was close to my work, parking was easy, and since it's on the smaller-size you always feel like you have the gym to yourself.
Ford helped me to produce results I never thought I could. Not only did he put the work in to create a program that targets the specific parts of my body I wanted to work on, I felt stronger and healthier than I ever had before. His enthusiasm and passion for what he does makes you want to show up, and the music he plays is tailored to what gets you motivated. I have only the highest praise for Body by Ford, and hope others get to benefit from the experience as well!

Ford is great! I started working with him when I was not able to run for a few months and wanted to be able to do something, but have stuck with it a year later because of how much I enjoy it and how much stronger I'm feeling.
