​I am very disappointed with the cancellation process and contractual policies. I signed up for the basic membership after the 7-day free trial but, due to unforeseen personal circumstances, I was unable to use the gym even once after the trial period.
​When I reached out to respectfully cancel two months into my membership (which I was willing to pay for despite non-use), I was told I was locked into a full one-year contract. My options for early cancellation were:
​Provide proof of a new residence located more than 25 miles from the facility.
​Pay a buyout fee of over $$200 (which is significantly more than the remaining 10 months of my \$10/month basic membership).
​The cancellation policy is extremely rigid and customer support was confusing. I was directed to a third-party representative, "Ms. Yona," who provided unclear information and refused to give her last name. While the local gym manager was kind and tried to explain the system, the corporate cancellation system is unreasonable and predatory.
​Potential members should be fully aware that signing up for a basic membership locks you into a mandatory 1-year financial commitment with very limited, expensive, and difficult early cancellation options.

This place has become a joke and isn't worth the cost. If you have the upper tier membership, you cannot tan because they lost their active license yet still charging for full services. Stopped going to one location a while back because their AC broke and then the other because of door scanner issues. For over a year they keep saying they are working on the door scanners but still they fail to register scans after hours some times. The door is broken on one of the rooms to the only red light bed that fully functions. On top of that, they do not comply with simple membership/subscription cancelation laws. You have to go through a 3rd party to cancel. This franchise needs to be shutdown.

I have been fraudulently charged 2–3 times a month because Club 4 Fitness added my bank account and routing number to a stranger’s membership. I am now paying for my own membership and for someone I don’t even know.

When I contacted customer service and even emailed the general manager, they refused to help, would not cancel the fraudulent membership, and have not refunded me a single dollar.

This is unacceptable and feels like theft. I have contacted my bank to report these charges as fraud, and I am filing complaints with the FTC and BBB. If you’re considering joining, be very careful about giving this gym your banking information. They do not protect their members

Completely unacceptable I got a gym membership, and then a week or 2 weeks later. I decided I couldn't keep it. So I asked them to cancel it. They email me saying I owe $88 when I choose the plan, that was the one that was no commitment. Cancel anytime. Also, the employee in the gym said, if I went with that plan, I could cancel anytime as well as the website states. No commitment.

Disappointed with the classes that are offered. I was looking forward to some low intensity classes. I also was interested in the Zumba classes. You offer only ONE low intensity class. And there are only TWO Zumba classes (and they are well attended). You offer over 50 classes each week. Most are attended by 0 clients. It seems you could stand to change it up and offer classes that someone will attend. Seriously, the classes are just not the right mix That has got to be obvious to you.

I’ve been a member of this gym for about a year now and a year later I’m still happy with the decision I made to become a member at this location.

I was a little worried when the new year hit and I started seeing lots of new faces but to my surprise nothings changed. Equipment is still available, the gym is always clean and the staff is always available when needed.

The general manager is never “to busy” and the young man who opens the gym in the mornings is always there and ready to start the day. I appreciate the little things. It’s those little things that keep me coming back.

Went in to sign up and interacted with a manager at the front named Ashley (very short blonde hair). She was so horrible that we walked out and don’t plan to go back. We ended up going to the Jones Creek location and signed up there - we will probably only go to the other location even though it’s twice as far away. I don’t recommend this location at all. And if you decide not to sign up or to leave this gym, at least check out the location on Jones Creek first. It was so much better - better staff, better location, better overall vibe - than this location on Florida Blvd.

However, I do have a question about the hours of operation. There is a barcode scanner at the door, which typically suggests that the gym was intended to be a 24/7 facility or was at some point. When we asked the front desk about this, the response was defensive, and we were told that the owners decided against 24-hour access. I just wanted to clarify whether this is the case or if staff are locking the doors overnight, preventing paying members from using the facility.

The Jones Creek location is 24/7, but it’s a bit out of the way for me. If this location is supposed to be 24/7, I would love to know, as it would be much more convenient to work out here. Any clarification on this would be appreciated!

I have been apart of many gyms in my life. This gym has it all. Ive never been happier with the decision to join. It might put them all out of business. Water massage bed, sauna, childcare, trainers, classes, huge gym, huge lockerooms. Clean organized and doesnt matter how many people are in there I can always get it in.

They are liars, they offer you a promotion of 9.90 dollars and it is a complete lie because you will pay at least 100 dollars in the first month because you must pay the following month plus the year and they do not explain any of that to you, in other words, if you only go for a week you must pay almost 100 dollars. BAD MANAGEMENT

We didn’t ask for guest passes. They were given, then taken away without any proper positive costumer service by Otis.

We walked in a specifically asked “How much are guest passes for today and Thursday?” The associate offers a free 3 day guest pass. We did not ask for one. We went through the check in, the paper survey, the attempt of tour and at the very end Otis pops over (no greeting, no smile) “oh you can’t have the guest pass, you’ve been here before.” I replied “Yes we have.” This we had already said twice before. Otis walked away, we stood there just waiting until finally Otis tells Colby to check us out.

We purchased the day pass for today. After the workout we went for clarification after finding the September 2nd charge from Club4Fitness and being accused by Otis that “you already had a three day pass”! Otis kept rolling his eyes, acting bothered and gave zero clarification why we were accused of already having a 3 day pass even though we never did. We were super calm and Otis got very hype and then said “you can just leave.” This was while we were already walking out!

ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS that Club4Fitness supports managers & costumer service like this. What’s more is Club4Fitness will never write this manager up or fire them.

Watch your billing. And customer service is zero help. I froze my acct for 3 months in Oct- Oct 6th to be exact due to having a major surgery and they are trying to charge me for Dec., I shouldn’t be billed again until Jan. This is also not the 1st time I had billing issues with them so I cancelled my membership. They only clean the tanning beds once a day- I asked several workers about this and got the same response of once a day so I suggest you clean them yourself unless you want to lay in others sweat 🤮 They will change your freeze date to the month you originally sent the email, however you have to send it before the month you want your freeze to start, that way they can try to screw you over..

Update: response to their response- there’s been plenty of times I went to get into the tanning bed and it had dried stuff lotion or sweat whatever it was and had to clean it myself so you saying they are cleaned every hour is a lie but that’s still disgusting as it should be cleaned after every tan usage. I canceled my membership m, I have my original email saying a 3 month freeze since I had a major surgery. I’m not going to keep going back and forth with yall. I froze it and shouldn’t have been charged point blank. This wasn’t the 1st billing issue either!

Joined Club4Fitness immediately after touring the facility! From the moment I walked in, I loved the vibe and the atmosphere. Chris was very friendly, welcoming, and might I add, funny!

The facility was clean and offered the same amenities as the Jones Creek location. The only exception is the body scan.

I’ve completed some workouts at this location with ease. The clientele is friendly and has good energy. The staff at this location is wonderful too! I am so glad that I decided to make the switch to Club4Fitness! My previous gym lacked equipment and variety.

I asked to cancel my 6mth personal Training. I tried it for about 2mths & it was truly a waste of money & my time.. It was only 30mins once per week(their recommendation). They lied & said I signed a 12mth contract when we specifically talked about my 6mth goal & journey most of my consultation. I agreed to sign a 6mth contract. When I asked to cancel they emailed me a false contract, that I’ve never seen before, with 12mths on it. This is truly a scam they are running. This club is in a nice location, and convenient to my house, so I’m a member. The advertised price doesn’t match what I’m charged monthly. Additionally, the “training session” included is actually a “training consult” which is really more about tracking your measurements. When I explained to the trainer why I didn’t want to be weighed or measured (past disorder eating) and that my goals were about qualitative measurements instead of quantitative ones, she continued to pressure me, saying that only she would look at my measurements. I was uncomfortable. I mentioned that I really only wanted to be shown how to properly use the equipment, but that wasn’t what this session was for. This is unfortunate. I haven’t returned since because I’m afraid of running into the “trainer.” Your staff should be trained on handling disordered eating and other body dysmorphic issues if they are going to be offering eating advice. Does this person have a degree in nutrition? Sports medicine? This could be very harmful.

I’m giving it a star because it was really clean and the other employees seem nice.

This is my second time attempting to gain a membership at this gym and it’s still horrible. I don’t know who’s in charge of the hiring process but the harassment from male employees is insane. I went in today just to use the red light therapy and massage bed on my off day from the gym. I’m completely aware of Gym rules and that crocs are not allowed on the workout floor. I also was wearing a sundress with no gym bags, so it was very apparent that I was not coming into work out. I had a young lady getting The red light therapy system set up for me when an employee by the name of Rudy came out and just began to harass me. He proceeded to tell me that I was not allowed to go on the workout floor with crocs when I specifically told him I’m just coming to use an amenities. Another employee came from the back and asked Rudy what he was doing, and he proceeded to say “ About to throw someone out of the gym” I came to the gym to relax, and it seems every time I come this employee bothers me the first time he made a comment about liking my body and I ignored it and I see that I shouldn’t have because the way that this escalated today was completely out of hand. I told Rudy today that he was pissing me off, and he had the nerve to say “ If you are pissed off you get pissed on” No one should have to go through this kind of treatment at a gym facility, especially someone who just comes to the gym to relax. This is completely unacceptable and I hope fitness improves their policy and does a screening on the employees they have working in their gym. I even asked employees for a managers card with her email or phone number or some contact information so I can file a complaint and was just told to just look at Google reviews or to leave a review so that’s why this review is being left. This is a beautiful gym to go to, but as a woman and dealing with the harassment from male employees its so emotionally unsettling

Staff is consistently late to open the gym, if they do show up then no one has keys to open the gym, if you pay the extra $15 a month for the “after hours” access it doesn’t work half the time so you can’t get in. Just go to planet fitness, this place is a MASSIVE scam.
The women’s area is always disgusting, the restrooms and locker room are never clean, they’ve recently been leaving up to 10 wet floor signs everywhere to make you think they cleaned but there is still toilet paper everywhere. Just don’t go.
UPDATE: I’ve added pictures to prove that they don’t clean the women’s areas here. Also how strange to take the defensive when they haven’t asked what days in particular that I was talking about. Congrats on giving two people keys for the weekdays when you all open at 5, but not on the days that you all open later 2-3 hours later. Makes no sense why we don’t have 24 hour access for the entire week, could make you all more money on the up charge for memberships and then you wouldn’t have to explain yourself on google reviews lol. No one from management has contacted me, literally this place is a joke.

This gym is a scam, I should have picked somewhere else instead of signing up here. There’s a $15 fee for paying in the app and a card payment is the only option in the app. I was wondering why my balance was higher than my membership but I should have called before I paid it because at first they couldn’t find what I was talking about until I broke it down. Then they told me “oh, yeah a $15 charge is added for card payments”. I’ve never heard of that with any other gym and I don’t recall reading that in the paperwork. Even on the app, it didn’t break down the charge and just had my total $15 higher than normal with no explanation and I just thought it was a late fee but this was a lesson learned.

I am extremely displeased with the management at this location. I am from out of state and trying to move my account to here. I have made multiple trips left multiple messages to try and get my account moved since there are different systems CLUB$ runs off of and I have heard nothing from the management and it has been weeks and I just went up there on 5/4 and thought I was getting somewhere just to still not have any contact from the manager. For context: I’ve been to Crunch & Planet Fitness in Baton Rouge in addition to Club4 Fitness. Each has its own strengths. This facility feels new and clean. I really appreciate the laid back atmosphere. I’ve had some sweet interactions with other members and staff. And it’s never really crowded - my spouse & I have worked out at different hours. There’s a no tripod policy, which is nice since I would rather not be a background model for others’ Instagram posts (even if I admire their dedication!). And they have equipment that other gyms don’t always have, like a hex bar and a manual treadmill. Definitely worth a try (we had the chance to do a 3-day free trial before committing).

Love this place! Literally everything you could want for the best total body workout and spa day. I take advantage of everything offered each time I go in the 3 to 4 hours I'm there, and couldn't be more pleased.

Staff is awesome, place is spotless, amenities galore and the price is insane! I was paying nearly 100 for only tanning and equipment at other places, and I get red light therapy, hydromassage, tanning, classes and a sauna on top of superb cardio and weight equipment here!

Love the manager and all the friendly staff! They also have a kid's club which is awesome if you have them with you and still want to relax.
