Inexpensive gym that's better equipped then the other inexpensive gyms. Full squat racks and free weights available, with dry sauna and showers in the locker rooms. A few misses with cleanliness, and up keep of equipment, but still their first year of operation in this location. Can't comment on classes but they seem sparce for the times I go.

I was honestly shocked after such a great workout experience at this gym. It’s usually a place I come to leave behind the negativity and stress of the day. However, tonight’s encounter with Colette B (cycle instructor) was extremely rude and disappointing.

There was a cycle class from (Monday) 5:30–6:15, and I walked in around 6:22 planning to use the bikes, as I’ve done many times before. As members were exiting, Colette abruptly scolded me and pointed at the door, telling me to leave, as if I should’ve known her personal rules. The tone and attitude were unnecessary and unprofessional.

I tried to find someone to speak with afterward but had no luck, so I’m sharing this here. Otherwise, I really enjoy this gym and the positive environment it usually offers.

The facility is top-notch 👍the policies are questionable at best. 👎Not working with local neighborhood patrons with issues we had regarding sign up and the inability to participate was very disappointing👎. Sometimes you have to work with people / customers when an obvious situation presents itself.

It’d be nice to speak with a manager that could exercise some common sense in my particular situation I’m not gonna go into detail here but it would be nice if someone reached out to rectify the situation we have been dealing with the past few months.

I have been a member of this gym since opening day. This gym offers so much more than other low cost gyms I have been a member of. For one, the classes add an extreme value to the membership, because they are included in the membership at no additional cost. The class schedule works great for me and most likely for many other people who want to squeeze a class in before or after work. There are classes as early as 5 am several days a week. The instructors are very positive and motivated. The childcare is also another high value perk, as you can get two hours of childcare a day for no additional cost.

The gym is perfect ive been working out here consistently for 6 months but one of the team members named brant is excessively rude to me even when I do nothing wrong. I am nice to the gym employees and try to stay out of the way but every time I encounter him on the gym floor its always mean comments about my age strengh ect.

Got kicked out of the area when I was there first hitting the punching bags. This big class popped up which I don’t check the app to see what classes are happening it’s a public gym so I figure I can just go anytime I feel like since I pay for it but they just kick out the same paying people as the ones in the class is crazy it’s a public gym work around each other that’s why yall got them rooms for. Then got told I was hitting the bag to hard when I moved across the gym. What’s the point of yall having them up?

I really like the gym facilities. I really like the staff. My only complaint is that as membership has increased, hygiene has slipped a bit. There is often no soap in the ladies bathrooms (I can’t speak to the men’s) which is gross. Staff keeps saying they’re waiting for a shipment of soap for the automatic dispensers. It shouldn’t be so hard to get pump style soap in there as an interim solution. Rouser’s supermarket is next door! I’m hoping adjustments in inventory are made as they continue to grow.

It’s my fault for not reading the fine print and I’ll own that but not letting people know when they sign up is shady. $1 enrollment then 60 days later $65 came out of my account but it’s my husband and I so it was $130. Called and said it was the yearly enrollment and I thought that was the $1 but it’s two different charges. Cancelled and then was charged another $60 for cancelling.
My husband never even went because the times he could the gym was filled with teenagers, proud of them for the commitment but when you’re trying to get a quick workout and there is literally 75 teenagers and trying to get sets in. The spin class was all I wanted to do and nearly 75% of the time it was filled. You can only reserve a spot 22 hours before hand and if you’re not on the ap within the hour then it is full. The classes that I did get into were great. I do not recommend this gym to anyone and I will tel the world every time someone asks about this place. Hope those fees are worth it.

I love this place so much but they gotta stop having classes during the most packed hours out in the hit zone area with loud music and microphones. it’s too crowded already no need to make it more crowded and loud. plus people I know have been told they had to quit their workout in the hit zone and were kicked out because a class was about to start!? That’s ridiculous!! space the classes out more and have them in the group fitness room man this is a big problem that myself and lots of others cannot understand and do not like about this gym!

I will start the review off by saying the staff from what I encountered is polite and professional. The gym is also full of great equipment and a wide variety. However, this is where things get bad. I had a membership for about 5 weeks. Went once because I moved out of state, so of course I am not able to utilize the gym, and they don't have any other Crunch Fitness where I'm at. I was going back through the area and stopped by to cancel since it had to be done in person. The girl behind the desk informs me that not only will I have to pay my annual fee, but will also have to pay another month of membership just to cancel. She even noted that I had just signed up, and only been once. Yes, I told her I moved. Nowhere was an additional month of membership and annual fee being paid upon cancellation was stated in a contract. Then again, maybe it was because I never received a contract. Hmmm. I will say this is no fault of this specific location, but more of a corporate issue. This is an issue with most corporate run gyms. I do understand that the staff at this location is adhering to corporate rules, but these rules are ridiculous. Charging someone an additional month on top of annual membership fee just to cancel is absurd. My tip to everyone is to avoid corporate gyms at all cost. Find a locally owned one where management is willing to work with you as they do not abide by corporate policies which are predatory. I wish I could say more about the gym, but I moved after visiting it once. Now will have to pay an outrageous fee just to cancel, all because I moved. Truly is sad Corporate World.

They kicked me out for no reason! Said I was being aggressive for hitting a punching bag and kicked me out!! Don't go if ur a serious professional athlete like I am they treated me like trash!! They asked my job title and kept weights by the punching bags where people could slip and fall. Charged an annual fee after a few months that was not told to me on signup (even after they admitted someone was not doing their job correct). This gym was awesome when it first opened. It has started to go down hill with cleanliness. Men’s locker room is consistently dirty with trash on the floor and dirty floors and benches. Sad to see that management is letting the up keep going to fits after only being open a short time.

Whoever Is trying to push an agenda with the TVs upstairs needs to relinquish control and read the room. Fox News should be on at least one of the 10 TVs they have up there. This is Mandeville, LA, not Chelsea Station, NY. I’ve been told it’s the GM and then I’ve been told it is the “corporate office”. Either way it needs to change quickly. I’ve requested it five times now. I’ll revise the review when it changes

I am still working on my opinion on this gym and so far things are pretty good. I have 2 complaints though. The first is it’s really hard to get a spot in a class and the booking window is 22 hours which is a weird time frame. The second is I signed up for the highest tier membership because it said I could bring a friend every time although I found out that is not entirely true. My guests have to sign up for a free trial which I am willing to bet can only be used one time for that friend. being able to bring a friend are is the main reason I went with this tier membership.

I had a really disappointing experience with Crunch Fitness, and I strongly suggest looking for another gym. My experience felt like I was being ripped off from the start. When I signed up, I explicitly mentioned that I did not want to provide my banking information due to past issues with stolen accounts. I was assured that I could pay my monthly fees with a credit card.

Then, out of nowhere, I received an email saying my payment was past due. When I called the gym, the staff was incredibly rude and insisted that I had to come in to resolve the issue. Frustrated, I decided to cancel my membership, only to find out that I was hit with two months' fees and a yearly fee just for trying to leave. I even had to argue to avoid a late fee, which thankfully was eventually removed.

The whole process felt misleading, and the staff was unhelpful throughout. If I had known how poorly they operate, I would’ve never signed up in the first place. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere.

If you are sorry you would refund one month and the yearly fee.
