I love this gym. Great staff, clean and ample equipment, large weight room. Very reasonable for full access with student discount for Sowela/McNeese or otherwise. My only wish would be for another stairmaster 😅

First of all. I belong to silver sneakers. I live in California. I called dynamic dimensions to make sure they take my membership. They only gave me a 4 day pass and then told me I had to pay $29 to join. I came to louisana on vacation..and I was told they take my membership world wide. Why would I give them any money and the membership is free. Poor customer service..Why give me a 4 day pass only. So this gym I would not recommend to any one that come on vacation to go to this gym. I called 3 times nobody returned my phone call yet. 2 weeks has passed and still haven't heard a word. I was just so unsatisfied. And yes when I am on vacation I do like going to the gym. Poor Poor customer service. Just very dissatisfied.

This is a great place to get in shape and stay in shape. They have many machines, along with equipment and a pool. Also have trainers and teachers to help you. My wife and I enjoy the Silver Sneakers program. Highly recommend the business.

For the price you pay, I would like for it to have better updated equipment as a lot of it's really old they do have a great selections of free weights. It would also be nice to be greeted by people that WANT to help and say a simple "Hello" I'm not wishing for a party or a parade each time I come in but a smile and a hello would be great. I do like it has 24-hour access.

Poor customer service and management. I am new to the area and my boyfriend was already a member so I joined too. I paid the membership fee and new member sign up fee and requested a card for after hours. The guy on the phone said I was good to go. Apparently they didn't do their jobs...My boyfriend and I went to the gym yesterday after hours to workout. He gets a call saying they saw him with some girl, and he explains I have a membership already. They replied saying I don't and that he can't bring me in again until I do have a membership. Are you kidding me? I pay for the membership I get to use the gym. Sorry that you're membership team is disorganized, not my problem. Completely unprofessional and quite frankly rude. I will never use this gym again AND for the outrageous price it is it sure is a dump. If I could rate this place a 0 I would because they don't even deserve one star.

I work out every morning at 4am ish. I get dont my workout at 5am. I was buying the protein shakes there in the morning but i recently stopped because the employee woman that works there in the morning basically makes you feel bad for even asking for one. The young male that comes in sometimes in the morning i have no problem asking because he seems happy to help. But for the woman, i asked her for a shake once and didnt realize it was slightly before 5am. She looked at her watch in a annoyed way and replied "in 3 mins i will". Never asked again.

This is an edit. because i guess you cant make multiple comments. But is this gym low on money? They had a mat down for ab workouts and then one day they threw it out and never replaced it. Also almost every rack for barbell workouts are damaged and/or worn out and the bar doesnt rest correctly on them. I go to the gym because it is close to my house and Christian that works in the morning is cool and makes great shakes. But for the amount of money it may not be worth it. For a gym that charges that much the machines need to be updated. Period. I know i never left after the first review but that was because the woman working in the mornings when i started isnt working mornings anymore and the staff now is great. But now that ive been thinking about it and being irritated over the racks being worn out and now the mat is gone i may be working out elsewhere.

This is definantly one of the better gym around. I have multiple memberships through my health ins and visit different gym. Dynamic in Sulphur has plenty of weight. The gym is a good size and the staff is friendly. The atmoshere and people who work out there is awesome as well! They have very health reasonably priced smoothies as well. All around just a good gym. Oh yea, the classes are all inclusive with your membership also so that is actually amazing!!!

Last year , I came to the gym and canceled my month to month membership but the membership lady wasn't there ( she works very short hours and she's the only one !) So I left my note at the desk , few months later , I called and asked why am I being charged and they said because i didnt turn in my 31 days notice which i did ! So i asked how can i stop it , they said i have to come in person from IOWA STATE to turn in one !( membership lady was rude and very unfriendly)... came back to the area for work and thought ok since I'm here , ill just continue using it because it's the closest to my hotel which was a big mistake. Reported my card stolen which was the one they were taking the payment automatically every month so the last payment didnt go through and I only realized when I tried to get in and couldn't. Paid the monthly payment, plus a 20$ fee on a Friday and when I tried to go in Saturday , I couldn't so I called during their business hours on weekend and they said it won't work till Monday ! RIDICULOUS! Just signed a cancellation note and TOOK A PIC OF IT this time and would never again return to this place and wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy.

I have been going here for several years now. It is always clean and the staff is very friendly. The patrons are friendly and helpful too. There is a smoothie bar, group classes, swimming and swim classes, child care, and regular exercise equipment. Personal training is also available. Another service provided is Muscle Activation Therepy. You do not need to be a member to use this service. It is true that you will pay more to be a member at Dynamic Dimensions but no one offers all of the benefits that DD offers. There is a DD gym in Sulphur and Moss Bluff.

This place offers more free weights than any gym in Sulphur. The membership fees are a little pricey. Also, they are associated with the hospital, so it appears that most of the money does not get out back into the gym equipment or facility. It's not uncommon that you see a broken piece of equipment for a month. Also, at peak time you may be in a 40x40ish free weight room with 20 other lifters.

They are only getting 1 star because at least they leave you alone and let you work out, but if you ever go to cancel your membership good luck. I tried to cancel my membership because I moved to Corpus Christi and the lady at the front desk asked if I could come in and fill out paper work, I told her no I'm in Corpus Christi. So one day I get a letter in the mail saying I'm 90 days past due and I had a deadline to pay or my bill was being sent to collections. So I call in and am told that the lady at the front desk should have told me that I have to cancel by certified mail! What a joke, they just wait for 90 days to rack up and then call and threaten you with collections as a way to strong arm money from you. Don't waste your time with this place unless you plan on never canceling.

The employees who work there are all friendly people. Only thing with your membership is that if you are wanting to cancel it needs to be done a month ahead of time which is a lot better than other gyms that have you sign a 1 year contract before you can cancel. Which this is totally understandable because this is a business and they need to be covered too. Daycare is awesome and the classes keep me motivated. So thank you "Mr. Alex" and everyone at dynamic for my fitness needs. Love this place

Don't enroll in automatic membership unless you make sure you read and understand the policy. I enrolled in automatic payments for my membership but was only able to go a few times because it was just too much of a hassle with after school and homework being the only time I could make it. I was told when I got the membership that there was no contract and I could cancel at any time so I felt comfortable joining but when I called to cancel, all was fine until Mr. Alex informed me that my monthly membership had already been deducted from my banking account that day for the following month and when I asked for a refund he said I can't issue a refund cause it's our policy which I understand but I haven't used up Any of the days for which I was charged for. So even though it's a policy, they are getting my money and I won't be using their facility. Really sucks. Other than that pretty good facility. Good pricing. Good for family. Very nice people.
