This could be a great gym, but management above the people at the location refuses to repair or replace the faulty sauna. It’s been torn up dozens of times since I’ve been here, and they won’t spend the money to get a reliable unit. I guess they had a bad luck model in this one. But it’s been an ongoing problem for dozens of people that want to use the sauna. And nowadays, most people are becoming better educated on health and things like sauna, it’s more important than their management thinks. Unfortunately the only other gym in LC, LA that had a sauna isn’t open during the hours I have to work out. So I’m surprised they don’t just spend the money to install a good sauna-they’d be the o ly gym w a sauna that is open early and late and I I’ve spoken w numerous members here in the sauna that express the same dissatisfaction, especially since it’s a recurring break down in function-like daily-it is not even warm 1/2 the time.

By far the cleanest gym in Slidell. I moved to Slidell 2 years ago and toured just about every gym here. Genesis is the biggest with the most equipment. The gentleman they have doing janitorial work does his job to the fullest. The staff is super friendly

Can we please fix these operational hours Saturday/Sunday open by at least 6, 7 at the latest. Then extend the closing times by at least an hour. This is a Metro New Orleans area and not a retirement community. Even BR location closes at 10 on weekdays let’s be uniform at minimum.

Please make this happen sooner rather than later. I’ve read several other reviews requesting/addressing the same issue.

Staff is great , Jamal is phenomenal and has been affiliated with the club since before new ownership. However previous ownership was charging $35 a month , no way I can give this place 5 stars. They charge you $81 a month and my problem with that is that if your going to charge that much Monthly then make your gym more flexible and better for the people who actually want to work out and not make the hours better for your employees. A business and running a business is to take care of the clients first . Closing at 6 pm on a Saturday is outrageous , if yall want to go home early atleast make it 7 or 8 pm . Also during the week the latest they stay open is 9. Some adjustments defenitely need to be made . The swimming pool is decaying and chips all over the concrete . The basketball gym floor is warped and causing dangers to those who play on it. So again to be charging more than any gym within a 90 mile radius easy or west is outrageous they need to roll out the red carpet , and not just be filling their pockets and if not more people will run in the long run and this gym will once again go under new ownership.
