Employees wouldn't cancel my membership on two different occasions put my account on freeze and told me it would cancel membership after three months on freeze this was in November 2024 fast forward to March 2025 l was charged full amount I disputed the charges with my bank they fought the dispute charges and won I went in for the third time and finally see the manager Janette told her the situation she refused to hear my complaint and ignored my request to speak to someone over her after 10-15 minutes of back and forth she told me she would refund the charge it's May 2025 now and I never received a refund like she told me she would. I wouldn’t recommend coming here

I gor here really wanting to do the things... in in sales si I was able to afford the money at the time... when I couldn't afford it any more they offered to put me on hold for 10 bucks a month. THEY TOLD ME THAT JANUARY I WOULD CONVERT TO PAYING A FULL PRICE. as of january 17 I don't have access.. as of january 18... I have no access even tho they charged me. Mind you. I stood outside waiting for it to get fxed.. for now hours

If I could leave this place negative stars I would. I just want everyone to understand my experience dealing with this place. When I first signed up I loved it there was different management and the ladies were absolutely lovely. They were always helpful friendly and respectful. After moving away and signing up to a different gym that was closer to my new place I cancelled my subscription with hotworx. I realize that when you sign up you acknowledge the 2 or 3 month notice you have to give whatever it is. I was charged for a lot more than 2 or 3 months after I had given notice I was meant to have my final payment in August I was charged I believe until November. I had been double charged on multiple occasions during my membership. There were many issues. I brought all of these forward to the team there. They didn’t like that I was using rocket money as proof of these charges so I pulled the charges from my Chase Statements. I was eventually told it was presented to I believe the franchisee. With no update after the manager in email admitted to seeing double chargers to my account for many months, I began calling. I was told there would be no further action and that was that. So… do with this information what you may. I just wanted to share my experience.

The Hotworx staff is amazing. Wilauna keeps us updated on new merchandise that enhances the workouts. She is very welcoming and knowledgeable about healthy weight loss and management and she’s always gracious with sharing her wisdom. She is representation of a community that I haven’t typically seen in gyms. That makes me feel a sense of belonging! Rae is awesome and really knows members by name and she knows how to connect with us. Emily is a great addition to the team. With their support, I hope to smash my fitness goals!

Wilauna! She is the prime example of a helpful, caring business representative! I have not been to hot worx for several months and just dreaded going through the process of getting back on track. She walked me through each step with a great attitude, while also being mindful of the value of my time. And just like that I’m reactivated!! My codes are restored and I’m on track to reach my personal goals.
I called on a Sunday when staff is usually unavailable, and she took the time when she wasn’t even expected to just help me!

This place is a den of thieves my credit card was charge for miscellaneous items when I was there to check out the place and my card was charge ever since. Thanks to my bank my money was returned. I’m glad I didn’t sign up for membership Read it thoroughly before signing is my advice. Shady business!!!

this fool of a manager used and saved (unauthorized) my credit card that I used to buy a drink (drink machine broken) she used my card illegally to pay a monthly fee after I cancelled when she could not use my credit card that was associated with the contract. Scammers.... the program becomes so boring after a while, same videos over and over. Do not waste your money.

LOVE LOVE LOVE!! Everything is awesome about this place! The GM and staff are fantastic! They help you with anything you need, they are real and honest!! Nice in this day and age for a business to be honest with you. Now for the work out... FANTASTIC!! Not only does it help with weight loss, the sauna part is helping clear out toxins and making you feel better and WAY less recover time because of it!! More work out in less time and I cannot see how this is not helpng me for my health! My goal is to maintain a healthy weight and to lower my high cholesterol... naturally. I will post an update when I get bloodwork done in July. I did high intensity work outs at OT and I can honestly say I recover much better at HOTWORX and have a shorter, BETTER work out!! And no.. I am not receiving anything for this review... it is an honest review from my experience so far!

I’ve been a member here for a few months now and have been seeing some good results! I originally started on my own and didn’t want to go in because the old manager was extremely pushy and invasive I had stopped going altogether just due to how uncomfortable she had made me . There is a new manager Raelynn who took the time to reach out to me and me back on track ! She has been nothing but helpful . Now me my nest friend and my boyfriend will all be going here and we don’t have to worry about anything. I’ve worked out at other hotworks but she definitely makes this one better than the rest to me ! Just want to say thanks for taking the time to get me back working out and always making me feel comfortable as well as all of my friends and family I got to join.

I'm a big fan of Hotworx Gretna, I used to go to planet beach in Marrero and use their Hotworx sauna, Raelynn was the manager there at the time and when I found out she was moving to this facility I made sure to follow... I've always felt like the staff at Hotworx has a great attention to detail and likes to get personal to motivate the people coming in. I've also never seen a person come through the door that wasn't greeted wholesomely by either Raelynn the manager or any of the other great team members they have. My girlfriend and I train there 3 times a week and we really enjoy the variety of classes offered as well as the weights in the back. Whenever someone askes me where I work out I make sure to try and give them a sales pitch on Hotworx! 10/10 would recommend if you're willing to put your best foot forward.

I miss Rachael and the old crew there before I did a three-month freeze due to health reasons. The new crew isn’t as warm and welcoming. Due to personal reasons, work, and two elderly dogs at home, I told the front desk employee I needed to cancel. The front desk employee said the manager was the only one who could cancel the account and was busy with something. I asked her when was a good time she would be back and if it would be anytime today. The employee responded with, “I don’t know”. Luckily, ten seconds later, the manager came, and I told her that I would like to cancel due to the reasons stated above. During this process, it felt like I was being judged. I apologized for having to cancel. No empathy was shown in return. I didn’t have the time to go, so canceling made sense. The part that made me feel at my lowest and left me stunned and speechless was when the manager looked at my work shirt and stated, “Well, working at a hospital, you should know how important health is.” I didn’t know what to even say after that and just responded with an apology. She told me to sign where I needed to sign, and I was on my way out the door, but it left such an unpleasant feeling in my heart that I felt I had to write about it. There was no reason why I should say sorry and feel bad for canceling due to personal reasons.

I have been working out at this gym for Over a year now. I can definitely see the benefits. I feel so much better after a good hot sweaty session. It's crucial to detox the body And boy does this place do the trick. I wish I could 0 stars for their poor attitude.. they don’t stand to their agreements made when signing the contract.
They have no problem drafting money from accounts but are problematic when trying to cancel memberships.
No wonder why so many members are cancelling their memberships.

Very disappointed. I went in for my hot yoga session and was very relaxed until the last 10 minutes when two GROWN adults decided they wanted to start their session early and stood right outside my door and held a conversation. Even after I opened the door to gather my things they still stood there. My session was for 6pm-6:45pm they next session was for 7:30pm but I guess they thought it was for 6:30. I was so upset I immediately when to the desk and asked to freeze my membership. When asked why I explained what had just occurred and got no reaction or empathy from the young lady who was handling the request but the older lady that was up there said she understood how that could ruin my mood. After I got home I called to ask for the corporate number and the same young lady answered she said they talked about the incident when I left and advised they normally don’t get involved in these type situations it’s up to the members to address. She said she would give my contact info to the owner but she would tell me the same thing. At this point I will cancel my membership. I will no longer pay for a place that don’t respect me nor my space. It’s a great experience but the staff is HORRIBLE.

I did my first class 1 day ago and it was such a good experience I decided to join that day. They told me they were having trouble with the app to get in the building so the girls wrote down the code for me. I booked my first two appointments very excited to work out. Drove 30 minutes to get here and the code nor the app would let me in the building. I’m beyond upset with this as I’m a brand new member and this is a a horrible first impression. Not to mention I just spent over $300. Now I can’t use until they reopen during their business hours or call me back to give me the correct code?

Dirty little hairs and lots of brown particles throughout, would not recommend. Difficult to find a hot room when I arrive, no preheated rooms like other locations, I would say it’s gougingly-overpriced whenever the app is glitching and you’re not given what you paid for. Disappointed.

This place is amazing. The GM Jordan is Uber friendly and knowledgeable. I think he’s the first customer service rep I’ve ever met in La that is actually nice and I can tell he loves people!! I highly recommend this place as a way to get a quick HIIT session in. You’re in and out in 15 minutes. They have a shower and a water fountain. Get your life back!

I just finished my new member enrollment with Jordan and
he's amazing just like coach Gianna.

I'm sooooo looking forward to being a part of the Hotworx
fam! This place is super chill and really laid back. Oh and
the workouts offered are phenomenal, especially when you
can book your session on the app!

There's like six (6) saunas where you can workout for 30
minutes each session. Sessions like yoga, Pilates, HIIT, Hot
Core, Hot Bands, three huge rowing machines that sits high
as opposed to the little lowered ones (my fav already) and
cycling. Oh and if you're into ballet moves, they have this
barre none session, a unique ballet workout without the
"barre.

I'm telling you, I cannot wait to get started. I'll certainly be
back to update you all as to how the sessions are going but
the fact that they're open 24/7 and each session is 30
minutes, burning up to 600 calories, that's enough to keep
me motivated.

Also, they have this "'most calories burned"' challenge
where you can win money for burning calories. Now when
was the last time any gym gave you money back?? Exactly!!
I heard from a member who's been a member over a year
and she loves it! I owe this to my body because infrared
energy has amazing health benefits. I read a few doctors
created medical saunas because they improve blood flow,
reduce headaches and migraines, detox, weight loss, heal
your muscles, and achieve absolute pain relief for a better night’s sleep.

I went twice with a friend as her guest. The staff was really friendly and accommodating. They explained how it all works pretty well.
