You would have to count on your fingers and toes to name all the National and World Champions that this place has been home to. Seriously….this place gets after it.
It’s the only place I can go to train how I want to. The gym has been around for decades for a reason. All the members are helpful and have so much experience they are willing to share. Everyone is super friendly and welcoming to new members. It’s the place to be if you’re looking to actually train and get stronger. As Chase always says, “It’s not a health club” but it sure feels like home!
If your reading these reviews, clearly your looking to find a gym. This place is a community like no other and one heck of a gym. It’s also a great spot for younger athletes to learn the ropes of how to train properly. I spent my middle school and high school years here as a kid learning to lift.
Good people, great times, and heavy weights!

If you’ve ever wondered where the heaviest place on the planet is, look no further than House of Power Strength Club in Baton Rouge. I’m convinced the gravity is stronger here because the weights feel like they’ve been beefed up by Mother Nature herself. The dumbbells must be distant relatives of Thor’s hammer because I swear they only rise for the worthy.
But fear not, the incredibly supportive and energetic staff are like personal cheerleaders, ensuring that even if your arms are shaking like a leaf in a hurricane, you’ll lift that weight. The atmosphere is electric, not just because of the grunts and clangs of success, but also due to the camaraderie that’s as thick as the protein shakes they serve. 10/10 would lift here again

Best environment of any gym in town. Great community to be a part of if you want to get bigger stronger and have a group of people around you supporting you along the way. The weights are also pretty heavy.

You want to get strong? This is the place for you. With plenty of high grade equipment and high level lifters the strength is sure to follow. Combine that with a clean gym and fun culture house of power is an excellent gym choice.

Best gym in the area if you want to learn powerlifting or just get stronger. It's a small core group of lifters with plenty of experience and willing to share if you're willing to put in the work.

Excellent Gym. Friendly personnel that goes there and clean. Owner is very friendly and everyone that goes there is friendly and willing to provide assistance and advice. They may butt-in during your workout, but it's only to make sure that you are safe and working out properly. Highly recommend them if you want a more personal gym experience that's 24-7.
