I like the fact that there are pools, saunas, and a whirlpool. It would help alot if they wouldn't break down all of the time. The pool's heater is always breaking down.

Great gym! Low rates, open 24 hours, indoor outdoor pool. We always go for the slower times. Only downside is the place needs to be remodeled, which the new management is already working on so that five star rating is coming

I'm older and living with HIV and osteoporosis. I can't work out. But I can swim, I can relax in the sauna, steam room and hot tub. The best part , my insurance includes membership in my rates. I pay nothing above standard Medicare. That's including part d. Humana is my provider. And I can get some serious relaxing done.

If you’re looking for a state of the art gym it won’t be here. Now, that doesn’t mean it’s a bad gym. It has some work to be done but overall it has what you need. They have classes to enroll in, cards to health and fitness guides, people that are willing to help and it’s open 24/7. The people that workout there are usually regulars and will get to talking as if you’re not a stranger. It’s a good local place. Check it out for a day, it’s $10 I believe. Try it before you knock it.

I give this gym 1 star because they actually have weights, a sauna and a pool. The building is run down, the weights are rusty, barely working machines. I would take my money somewhere else. Was this Helpful? 🐴

They spared no expense, when charging for memberships. There's plenty of holes in the floors. Faulty equipment to train with, but technically you CAN workout at LC fitness. At least it doesn't rain as bad inside anymore when it rains outside anymore...

This is the best gym in Lake Charles! It's the only gym with 2 Saunas, and the equipment is always available for use. The pools are great and always clean. It's just my favorite Gym!

The size is decent for Lake Charles. The equipment is pretty outdated. There is only one curl bar, and only one fly station, so if you do resistance exercises (or any popular exercise), you have to go during unpopular times. Cardio is separated which is nice. The locker room/showers are pretty gross. The management will take care of maintenance issues, but it's obviously a pretty old gym. I would say the best gym in Lake Charles for actual weight lifting, but its only "okay" overall.
