I've been to 3 yoga classes in my life and this was by far the best. The owner/instructor and other participants were all extremely friendly and welcoming and the class was challenging without being overwhelming. If you're interested and happen to live in Baton Rouge or just traveling through; please stop in and give this business a try. You won't be disappointed!

Mrs. Kim Walker is a star! Move Your Body Yoga studio is an excellent venue and the customer service is second to none. The studio is the perfect size. Not too big and not too small. I felt extremely comfortable and received great instruction on my personal goal in yoga to get more flexible and relaxed. I would definitely recommend this studio for aspiring individuals who want an alternative to just lifting or running all the time. Her yoga studio is top tier!

Walking into Move Your Body Yoga is like stepping into a warm, welcoming sanctuary. I’ve been coming here for almost a full year now, and from day one, I’ve felt completely at ease and supported. As a Muslim woman, it means so much to me that I’ve always felt respected and comfortable in this space. The instructors are kind, inclusive, and genuinely care about creating a safe environment for everyone.
Each class has the perfect balance between intensity and restoration challenging your body while calming your mind. The results have been amazing. I’ve lost 40 pounds since I started practicing here, and I’ve noticed a huge improvement in my strength, flexibility, and mental clarity. Every session feels like a full body detox, and I always leave feeling empowered and refreshed.
Beyond the physical transformation, I’ve also made great friends here. There’s such a strong sense of community and connection it truly feels like a second home. The studio itself is clean, peaceful, and thoughtfully designed. The heat is consistent but not overwhelming, and I love the calming details like the cool towels after class and complimentary herbal tea. It’s the little things that make this place feel truly special.
This studio welcomes you with open arms. It’s more than just a workout it’s a healing, affirming experience that supports both your physical and mental well being. I’m so grateful to be part of this community.

I can’t thank y’all enough for letting me use the infrared sauna before my meet. I had to drop a few pounds to qualify, and I knew sweating it out was my best option, but I didn’t want to just sit in a regular sauna and drain myself. The infrared heat at Move Your Body Yoga felt different—it wasn’t just about sweating, it actually helped me recover and loosen up too. I made weight, hit my lifts, and felt good doing it. Appreciate y’all for having something like this available for athletes like me. I’ll definitely be back!

This has got to be the most welcoming/supportive yoga studio I’ve been in. I arrived without workout clothes after a late work day and the studio owner had a rack of cute workout gear I could pick from to wear for class. I can tell the culture of the studio stems from love, y’all should come check this place out!

Going to Move Your Body Yoga was such an invigorating experience! Mrs. Walker provided a comfortable and informative session on the benefits of hot yoga, leaving all participants, especially myself refreshed and rejuvenated. Her guidance, patience, and encouragement pushed me to expand both my mind and body beyond my belief which made this experience all the better! I loved every minute of it! Going to this studio was a 10/10 experience and I would highly recommend everyone taking their time to learn and experience it as well!

Kim’s guidance was very comforting. The environment was so welcoming.
I had been looking and looking then google brought me right to this website that was calming, bright and full of life. Kim answered all my questions, offered a private session and was very excited to meet me. For a baby yoga like myself, she was patient with me from start to finish. The poses that was chosen for my session was much needed for my problem areas. I can go on and on but I’m definitely adding this yoga studio to my routine. Please go try it for yourself!

I am VERY new to yoga. As a beginner, I can say that Kim is patient and motivating. I never thought I would do something like this, but after a few weeks…I keep returning!
She is professional and very calculating in her efforts and well thought out plans to get us moving. She pushes just enough to not have you overdue it, but to build your confidence!!

I have been practicing with Kim for several years and excited to see the opening of Move Your Body Yoga. The studio space is beautiful! It is warm, inviting and has great energy. Kim is a great instructor. She invites you to find your space on the mat. She encourages you to focus on what you can do and not what you can’t. The infrared heaters are a game changer; hot yet supportive and help you stretch deeper as well as detox. Kim is creating a community dedicated to supporting overall health and wellness. I also like that she mixes up the routines each week combining yoga, Pilates and cardio. Also, the infrared sauna on premises is Gold! There is so much to experience here, like stretch and chair yoga. I love it here! 🔥❤️
