I love Now & Zen Fitness! My trainer Ian is the truth. He pushes me, but in a way that makes me feel comfortable and confident at the same time. Every workout feels tailored to me, and he really pays attention to form and technique so I’m actually doing things the right way.
The vibe in the gym is welcoming, not intimidating, and Ian always keeps me motivated and accountable. I’ve already noticed a big difference in my strength and energy since training with him.
If you’re looking for a trainer who really cares and knows what he’s doing, I definitely recommend Ian and Now & Zen Fitness!

Ian is an amazing personal trainer. I started working with him at a previous gym but I let life get me off track with my fitness goals. When I got serious about training again, he was the only person I thought of to get me back on track. He actually listened to what my personal fitness goals were and he tailored workouts to meet my individual needs. He’s always honest and tough when he knows I’m not giving my personal best, often pushing me to reach new levels. What I admire most is that he’s also knowledgeable about the physiological aspects of each of the movements he tells me to perform. Every session includes education on safety when using the equipment and on which muscle groups are engaged with the movements. His gym is the perfect place if you’re intimidated by the larger gyms and want a more personalized location. If you’re looking for someone to hold you accountable for your goals and to empower you to be your best, he’s the guy to guide you on your journey.

I worked with Ian for years and I couldn't have asked for a better trainer. Extremely knowledgeable, motivating and friendly, he genuinely cares about his clients and their goals. He went out of his way to do research, on his own time, to better accommodate my very specific back issues. In less than a year, I went from not being able to deadlift at all without lumbar pain, to being able to pull 2.5x my body weight, all while being 25 lbs. lighter and infinitely more flexible. Ian is the real deal, full stop.

I had total knee replacement in November of 2024. Did some rehab right after surgery and the started with Ian in January 2025 He designed a rehab workout especially for my knee and added upper body work also. My balance is better, my flexibility has gotten better and overall my strength has improved, I would recommend Ian to anyone who wants a hands on trainer

I have been a member of Now & Zenith for a year. Ian cares about what he does. When I started working with him I could barely lift 10 pounds, now I can lift about 50 pounds, and I can do stability ball planks. If you want to get in shape I urge you to call Ian.
