JC is an excellent coach and the community here is fantastic. I love that it’s small, inclusive and super clean. A lot of love and care has gone in to this place you should check it out! I’ve lifted at a bunch of gyms but JC has fixed my form tremendously in just a few workouts!! Great coach!!

Welcoming gym for all fitness levels, I remember starting saying “I’m never going to be able to complete these work outs” and now they are still hard but have become fun accomplishments. The members a friendly, not judgmental, and my favorite part is that no one takes themselves TOO seriously! We’re all there for different individual goals, but the common goal of just staying healthy.
The class format workouts use weights, with cardio mixed in! JC is very knowledgeable and always willing to modify work outs to fit skill levels and/or injuries.
Oh the other great part… the AC is always flowing, and cold towels after each work out.

Bad experience. Coach JC was way too much and the entire feel of the gym was "clicky" and unfriendly. If you are interested in actually working out and getting more fit this is not the place for you. Almost seemed like a certain type of clientele is what this gym targets.

I cannot fathom going anywhere else. JC is professional and motivating. He adjusts the workout to meet my needs yet still pushes me to my limit. I love the variety of workouts and the ability to see what will be expected each day. Old Gretna Fitness is a gem!

I joined this gym when it first opened and it was the best decision I ever made. JC is fantastic, if there is a part of the workout you don’t feel comfortable doing yet. He’ll change it up. He’ll push you to do a little bit more and you feel like you can absolutely do it because he’s there to help and make sure that you’re doing it right. It isn’t always about quantity and the number of reps. Sometimes it’s a quality workout and more about technique! If you’re looking for a gym that can help you and show you how to do things right! This is the gym for you!!
