This is a good place to work out and I that is open 24 hours. The staff is very friendly and does a really good job of keeping it clean. I had one concern a while back about hot water in the showers, but the management reached out to me right away and took care of it. I appreciate that level of concern for customer satisfaction.

I have been a Planet Fitness member for a while and have visited more than 20 different locations without any issues. At every other location, I was able to bring a guest and, since I am not a U.S. citizen, I explained that I cannot download the app. Every other club understood this and allowed me entry once I filled out the proper guest form.

Unfortunately, at this particular location, I was denied entry by a staff member despite my valid membership and my guest’s completed form. It was obvious that the refusal had nothing to do with Planet Fitness policy, but with personal bias. I didn’t catch her name, but it was the heavier girl with the emo style at the front desk.

When I asked to speak with management, she dismissively claimed that she was the management and that there was nothing she could (or rather, wanted to) do. This arrogant response showed zero professionalism and no regard for Planet Fitness’ supposed “Judgment Free Zone.”

This type of behavior is unacceptable. I strongly urge Planet Fitness corporate to take action, because no paying member should ever be treated in such a disrespectful way. Until this location addresses its staffing problems, I would advise others to stay away.

It’s always packed even at times when you think it’s not then they doing inventory on the drinks at 9pm. That’s crazy work right there inventory needs to be done before shift change and shouldn’t affect the customer wanting a damn ghost energy drink. Poor customer service when it comes to the drinks and me asking today for a drink and being denied a drink because of inventory. How much inventory do yall have that yall can’t give a customer an energy drink? Crazy work. I’m a mom of 5 I try to come to the gym and get some time in as much as I can. I can say the younger kids are super sweet but the guy whose management must seriously hate his job or something. The lady manager is sweet and all the kids who work here. It’s generally clean. Never showered here or anything but over all clean.

I want to send a HUGE THANK YOU to a few employees at planet in Laplace .
Mainly to Angelle who was not even on the clock but saw I was having an issue and came over . Unfortunately I knocked my earring out when I moved my headphones (a very sentimental earring) and yes lesson learned . Angelle would not give up trying to help me !! She called over Dante who graciously helped lift up the stairclimber so Angelle could continue to search for it . Jasmine also assisted rig getting Angelle a swifter . I cannot thank them enough for helping me . It’s hard today for people to care and I am grateful for the help of employees .

I just noticed a rogue $33.03 payment debited from my checking account from Planet Fitness today. The CS told me it was a glitch and I'd be refunded in 6-10 days however a mistake like this could cause hundreds of dollars in overdraft fees if one does not have extra money available in their checking account. I'm concerned it could happen again for a larger amount. They should let members pay their membership with a credit card until they get the bugs ironed out of their system.

Since joining mid 2024, my experience has been fantastic. However, I go in this morning for my routine and after cycling and I go to wipe the machine down, I discover there is no paper towels. Not good folks. I will start bring my own I guess.

It's not like my old gym i use to go to for a true addict but being out of a gym for almost 3 years, any gym will do. Being a black card member i can go to any PF in the united states which is good for me as a truck driver. This place have everything you need to reach your fitness goals. The only thing that can stop you from getting into shape is yourself.

This is a solid PF location. I ended up here when a tornado warning went through the area recently, and the gentleman at the desk took time to go around the gym and be sure we all knew it was coming. The equipment was in good shape. I would visit this location again.

I wrote a review a few months back stating that the restroom area of the men’s locker room smelled pretty bad for the past month or two and the very next day when I came in it seemed to be corrected. Absolutely great customer service in addressing the problem areas. I couldn’t be happier with this gym. Not to mention the fact that every time I am in or out I’m greeted with a smile and a welcome but also going the extra mile to add in their own little charm or personal touch to saying hello or goodbye which makes it so much better than any other location I’ve been too inside or outside of PF.

Here we are in 2024 and I have NEVER experienced racism. Date 01/07/24 Time 7:20pm Planet Fitness in Laplace you need to have a serious conversation with your employer name (JOHN PIERRE) Never had a bad experience with any of your employees but to be falsely accused of stealing or put it they way John Pierre put it (YOU PEOPLE) so Planet Fitness explain to me what John mean when he call my son and I you people. Is it because I am black and he is white. Planet Fitness is this the type of employee you hire unacceptable.This is what happen my son put his gray hoodie and both of our car keys in locker number 6 at the beginning of our workout we NEVER lock our locker because why should we there are cameras all around.. When we were finish working out my son and I went to retrieve our items but the locker was lock approach the front desk to tell John Pierre that the locker was lock so I asked who locked the locker. John Pierre then asked me what was in the locker and I then described what was in the locker my keys I didn't realize that my son grey hoodie was in the locker to so when John Pierre opened the locker he slam the locker back and said that the items in the locker wasn't our my son kept explaining to him it was his grey hoodie that when John Pierre said you people steal that when I asked him what he meant by you people. All John Pierre had to do is say let me go and look at the camera to make sure these are your items. Planet Fitness something needs to be done about this, This was very unprofessional behavior very disrespectful.

This has to be the worse planet fitness I’ve ever been to ! I pay for the black card membership just so I can use the tanning bed's . Ok even though the beds are in very good condition, with out keeping up with the maintenance of the bulbs ( REPLACING THEM EVERY SO MANY HRS!!!!) then they are just pointless and they can be as nice and clean as you want them to look , but when your paying for a tan and it’s now been 2 months and you haven’t seen any type of results , well I would say that’s a major rip off , not to mention they are also FALSE ADVERTISING THE BEDS because on the wall where they have the # for each room/bed they also have signs stating “caution new bulbs …….” And that is not true because my friends and I have called for almost 2 months now asking to speak to a manager and the manager themselves tell me “ no we have not changed our bulbs , we have to call maintenance!” Well I’m sorry but if it takes 2months just to get a maintenance crew to this location to change light bulbs then I would hate to see what could happen to a member working out on a piece of equipment cause I’m pretty sure they don’t care about the equipment either ! I will make sure and I have already began to spread the word around about how horrible of a place of business this place is if your looking for a tan ! I now have to drive to Kenner just to tan and I must say , this place is awesome not 1 complaint !!!!

Its a really nice facility and staff is very friendly, however, serious problem... The SHOWERS DO NOT have hot water! This is a real problem for me. Hopefully it will be fixed because that is the ONLY thing that is negative about this location. Everything else is above average. The cold showers is definitely a problem that I cant look past though. I will come back in a month or so to see if fixed but other than that, just make sure you bring wet wipes if you want to freshen up or you'll be taking a cold shower at the Laplace location. To add on to this review, i just noticed that there are reviews from a year ago that are complaining about the lack of hot water and it still isn't fixed a year later so now I'm sure they just dont care at this location.

I don't like giving bad reviews, but I have to share this. The water station is out of order, the showers are cold and the staff doesn't greet, looks bored and won't even acknowledge you. At least the place was somewhat clean. I've been to over 100 PF locations all over the US and I'm sad to say this was the worst.

Kianyana was amazing! I visited with my mother to learn more getting my mother started gym membership. Kianyana made my mother feel comfortable and welcomed. I was impressed with the overall cleanliness, staff professionalism and courtesy, gym openness and equipment variety.

BEWARE: Planet Fttness has been charging US for an account they claim isn't an account in their computer, yet every month they have charged almost $26 to out credit card!! It has taken over 5 MONTHS to get Planet Fitness in Laplace to find and cancel this account. They changed managers over 2 months ago... In the last 5 months I've made about 20 calls, spent about 3 hrs on the phone and made 5, or more, physical trips to see the old manager and the new one... both are whom, are unavailable (not there) when you arrive although you are told over the phone they will be there. Today when I arrived the young woman looked everything thing up and smiled telling me we had no account in there system, and the manager was unavailable!! I TOLD her, "Honey, I called five minutes ago and was told he would be here until 6pm, AND ya'll are charging our credit card nearly $26 a month when this was supposed to be canceled 5 months ago. Go get your manager NOW please." He appeared and claimed no one had tried to cancel the account over the past 5 months but he could cancel it now. I informed him that was not truth... and cancel it now. I requested a print out of the document stating it was canceled. The manager said he couldn't give me that I'd have to go online to their website to get it. "I told him, "Sir you have been taking our money for 6 months when this should have been BEEN canceled. Before I leave you need to print out the document stating you have canceled it." He acted like it would kill him to do it, but did print it for me. He also refused to give the cooperate phone number to call for complaints.

I maintain a membership here. The place is always clean, there is enough machines except during peak hours. The weight benches are always taken but can be substituted for free weights.

Hot water broken in the showers. Ran for 15 mins and nothing on all 3. Same in the mens. Front employees couldn’t care less. Also blasting the AC, even the employees up front were bundled in blankets… I mean common it was probably 60 in there mid December. Was warmer outside. FYI we travel full time in a van so we only have a membership for the showers. Bummer
