I saw these signs posted only in Spanish, which I happen to speak. They say, “If you see ICE outside please tell an employee and they’ll let you out the back door”. So there could be a person wanted for murder or rape in the gym that ICE could be looking for, but with no questions asked Planet Fitness will help him escape. No way in hell I’m ever stepping foot again into a place that puts the safety of their patrons behind helping possible criminals.

I have been coming to this location since it first opened after being in Gretna for a few years. It has gone so downhill. I don’t even know where to begin. Signs posted everywhere to not personal train, but it happens every day. Groups of people will corral around equipment blocking others from using the equipment around them. Several of the same people will place times on multiple pieces of equipment to do a circuit and nobody else can utilize those pieces for a significant amount of time. Signs for no filming, yet people are always filming themselves training other members, and today, we even started filming ourselves posing for a bikini competition. There are consistently MANY machines falling apart and/or broken. The place is never clean anymore. The staff never comes from behind the desk to address anything because they are too busy on their phones or engaging in personal conversations. There’s no point in addressing it with management as they participate in those activities. It’s looking like I will be heading back to Gretna for plentiful equipment and no filming.

Its an okay facility but they need more squat machines and/or a separate bench press area. They only have 2 and as a busy mom who is trying to get in and out the gym sometimes, it's discouraging when I can't get to the machine I need.

I canceled my membership because I think it’s the worst gym of planet fitness in the world, 1: few machines compared to the other planet fitness clubs they have up to 5 to 6 machines each, 2: it’s not 24 hours, 3 there are no new or exclusive machines, 5 small gym for many peoples, etc 👎

I come to visit my family 2-3 times a year. I decided to start using this location since my fam lives closer than the WB Expway location. I get dressed and show up today to get a guest pass to get a workout. The young lady was pleasant and told me that the systems were down. Honestly, thats not my problem. I want to get a workout so figure it out but I didnt press her. She told me to go find another gym and made no effort to help me get my workout in. I have avoided this location for a long time and now I know I wasn't wrong. Its sad that these encounters reaffirm my decision to move away from home. Maybe she isnt empowered to assist patrons when Planet Fitness has an outage... If so, shame on Planet Fitness but I saw that members were checking in so something was working. Extremely disappointed

HARRASSED BY STAFF!!!!
This is the worst gym I’ve ever been to! Was threatened to be kicked out over my damn purse. I was yelled at and laughed at by the girl who was on shift at 6:45pm, 07/27/2025. No resources were made available to me to give a proper complaint. See their Yelp for more details of the absolute nightmare of a woman I had to endure. The story was too long for me to post on here. Had to go to a different location to get my complaint properly across, and will be in touch with corporate tomorrow morning. Clearly no care for their guests or the money that they spend!! No care for the guests’ personal belongings!!!

So disappointed.

I finished my workout and asked for a hydrobed. Hugh said I had to scan my QR and select the time and nothing happened. He did this for over 10mins while I expressed that I’ve never done this before, I’m not a technology person and I don’t understand why you can’t just push the button to activate the machine like everyone else does. He said I’d have to wait for the other employee to come up to do it because the manager left for the night. I said the 10 mins it’s taking you to do this, I could’ve been on the machine if you seen my black card. He went got another employee named G to show him how to do it. Afterwards I asked him to start the bed since it still hadn’t started and he walked over the other side of the gym to speak to a guy. When the girl G came back over I said excuse me what’s his name and corporate’s number so I can report this. She told me his name was Hugh and I had to google it. I said ok, and a guy walked up with a GUN and I said sir I don’t need you, he said I’m here in case someone else needs me. I said who called you, (I’d already seen Hugh speaking to him before he even came over). He said no one, I said well why are you over here trying to intimate someone. He said you’re talking loudly. I said you can’t hear over the machines and I can’t hear her when she’s also talking low, but you can go somewhere else trying to intimidate somebody. I can express my displeasure to the staff if I’m paying for a service I’m not able to receive. He tolls me to talk like an adult and I told him go find his child or a child to talk to, because I’m grown and I can talk if I want to. So we kept exchanging words until he walked off. When my machine was done, I saw this guy sitting by the front door and walked up to him to ask his name. He said Moses, I said ok and walked towards the door. Not saying anything else to him, but talking to the person who came with me. As I’m opening the door to exit the building “G” starts yelling at me he don’t even work here, he has nothing to do with this. I’ll cancel your membership. I said he has nothing to do with anything but walked up towards me trying to intimidate me with a gun. I can ask his name. G kept yelling from behind the counter, I’ll cancel your membership and I said you can do that, I’m still reporting everyone. I like how while I was on the bed you had nothing to say, but as I’m leaving, you have everything to yell. This gym doesn’t have cameras everywhere from what I’ve seen besides at the front desk. O honestly feel like Hugh went got the guy with the gun on purpose and sent him over. I have someone who was next to me the whole time and witnessed everything. I even screenshot when the hydro started if corporate wants to review the cameras at the front desk on how long this took before I even had the hydrobed started to the employees horrible customer service.

Love my club in Algiers. On Friday, December 3rd walked into the gym and it was freezing! First time ever. Been a member since September 2022. I was told the temperature is controlled by corporate. I understand the clubs are franchised. Could not access on line. I may be the only complaint, but I don't believe so. Other members may shrug it off. I cannot. Someone is playing with the thermostat. My nose and hands are very cold. Even after working out for 10 minutes still COLD! This should bw taken care of immediately. I desire to remain a member and pray this situation can bw resolved. Thank you. Even the staff is COLD but have no control. Please, please, please fix this! And please don't insult me by saying it has always been this temperature.
