While visiting the area, I decided to visit this location, and it was nothing short of a great experience. No matter whether I went early morning, mid-day, or wee hours in the morning, there was always someone cleaning. The showers were so clean that my anxiety for using shared public spaces didn't exist. When visiting again, this will definitely be my location of choice. The only takeaway was that the shower water was only hit for about 3 minutes, but indont mindna cold shower LOL I'd simply prefer a warm one especially considering the circumstances.

The equipment in the 30min workout area is trashed and not maintained! There are missing pieces and dilapidated machines. You can tell they have not been maintained at all!! So disappointed because this used to be my go to spot. Whoever the owners are they need to do a check on the quality of the machines because they are hazardous!!!

Huge facility. Lots of machines so I rarely if ever have to wait. Tons of options for whatever workout I need. Most machines are in working order and have detailed instructions on how to use them. Lots of different areas for cardio, resistance weights, free weights, legs, arms, core, circuit training. Great prices. Great place as long as your not super pro who needs massive weights and very high end settings. It's tailored more toward entry to mid level needs.

I don't personally have a experience with this facility but my daughter has. Within the last few days she's had a problem with a worker and had to get the police involved. The police has been there twice to talk with a manager about the matter but it only gets worse. My daughters personal information was breached by the worker also. The violation of her information was breached by the Hippa law as well. My attorney will eat this up!

Went to signup son for black card. Wouldn’t take 1 time payment. Needed credit card. Put in my info then they ask for routing number for my bank. Routing number and credit card??? Not happening with me. Walked out. Not going to let anyone drain my life saving. I do not recommend anyone to use planet fitness. ITS A SCAM. I would have paid a yearly one time payment. My husband had called to switch his black card membership over to me. We have a joint banking account so who ever he spoke to told him I just had to download the app and change the name. Low and behold I go to the gym and the girl asked who's membership I just scanned. I told her it was my husband's but he called to switch it over. She tells me something about calling in the morning or in the afternoon that she can't do it later. He needed to come because it's my word over his, asked if he uses it ever and that I would have to pay for a day pass. I had to call my husband, have him come in person just for him to say yeah switch it over and girl ask me basic name, DOB, and email . Seriously? wasted my husband's time and made it sound like i was a liar when who ever my husband called was lazy at their job and lied about the process. Two stars.

Love coming here to work out and get my massages. Gotta give a shout-out to the staff - I come in at 4 AM most days and the two people I always see working that shift are absolutely lovely and so helpful. On weekends I tend to come in closer to 9 and I love that staff too - they only see me every other month or so and still recognize me, which is just a really nice touch. Everyone here is so so kind and it really does feel judgement free. The only reason I'm leaving 4 stars instead of 5 is because there are always multiple machines out of order, so I wish corporate would handle up on that more quickly.

I’ve been going to the gym for almost a week , With my son and we have a black card membership . And there is one of the employees her name is TRACY . She always give us an attitude. She has no respect. On May 31, me and my son we went at 11 pm and she didn’t want my son to go in as a guest and today I went to go get a massage and she didn’t let me go ,

Some of the machines are a bit stiff and feel a little rusty in the gears. I also wish it had a better stretch/ab zone like some of the others I've been to. Other than that it's clean, spacious, lots of machines, friendly, good vibe.

Update: new equipment. They have included a better ab/stretch zone. There is an open area upstairs that used to have some equipment that is perfect to take a mat into for some yoga or whatever. I'm impressed.

Fine place for a budget, for those of us who can't afford private gyms. Really crowded no matter the time lately, but do like the machines they've upgraded. Unfortunately the TVs play nothing but hateful news stations promoting racism and judgment nowadays, so I have to stare into the middle distance while working out. Employees are generally nice and greet, have seen friendly trainers around. Probably will move to different gym if I keep getting fox news stuffed down my throat every day though...

Worst general manager! SO RUDE!! I moved away and sent a letter to cancel my membership ( you can’t cancel over the phone) like they said. I was charged for a year and I’m still no able to cancel. Because they want me to drive 5 hours to cancel because I have moved away! Never in my life have I ever had so much trouble trying to cancel a membership somewhere! Even tho I’ve had a membership here in Searcy Arkansas they will not refund me for charging me for a membership the last year when I thought my membership was canceled!

Really nice that they upgraded all the equipment in Shreveport burtkouns PF. it even beats out Chrunch fitness that I am a member of as well and have used in several states. PF Staff is nice and courteous. However the shpt BK facilities is the only PF that I have ever gone to in 3 states that do not have chairs or head a rest in the tanning bed rooms. Manager should put these items in place for the Black Card members that care to tan !!

I have noticed that this gym has no problem with Fox New Channel. It the only monitor that has never had an technical issue. CNN, MSNBC, monitors always have an technical issue and that's why it no on. But all three monitors that carries FOX are always working. Please give your members a choice.

I joined about a month ago and really love it. The facility is clean, modern and equipment options are seemingly endless. The hydro massage beds are amazing, especially after a work out session. Staff members have always been friendly. The only gripe i have are the occasional people that will sit at a machine and play on their phone (not Planet Fitness's fault) and that is annoying, but luckily not a huge issue.....just an annoyance. I have the Black Card membership and it is 100% worth it.

When your own urine is 5 times hotter than their showers, that's very telling. I have given them well over half a year to get those showers situated. Sometimes I got lukewarm water, rarely, it would be decently warm, but the last few times, I've taken cold showers. I have not been back in well over a month.

The manager and crew provided the very worst customer service.
One of their female employees took a snapshot of my husband's account and fled to the back after being told to delete it. Their manager, who arrived shortly after, was blatantly rude, uninformed, and prejudiced.
He told my husband to stop talking and that we had no right to be at the planet fitness.
He racially profiled us and spoke to us in a completely nasty manner.
I sincerely don't know how he managed to land that job, but there are a million more candidates who are better qualified.
I will file a complaint and launch a petition, the way we were treated in that place is not how you treat people. I just don't see how someone with such poor customer service abilities, a brash personality, and the inability to think before speaking could hold the position of manager.

It has been a nightmare. Several years ago I moved 3 memberships from the Bert Kouns Location to the one on the corner of Youree and Southfield. When the pandemic hit and they shut down the gyms i called to cancel my memberships but they refused to do it over the phone. They demanded I come in person. I reminded there was a pandemic and I did nt want to go up there. They would not budge. They claimed since the club was closed I would not be billed so why did it matter. They kept billing me. I went up there and against my better judgement and told them to cancel all three memberships and they agreed to do that. A few months later i started getting bank drafts taken out of my account. I started calling but no one would return my call. after 4 or 5 months of illegal debits I finally got a manager on the phone. he said they were not debiting my account. I told him I could prove they were. He then changed his story and said it was the Bert Kouns location that billing me because one of the accounts was never moved and it was not his problem. I asked him why it was not moved and he said it was not his problem. I called the bert Kouns locations and spoke with a woman who identified herself as "The Manager ". She looked up the account and agreed it had been moved and they were billing me by mistake. She said she would get my money refunded. A week later they debited my account again. When I called them and asked for a manager a woman identified herself as "the manager ' picked up the call and I asked why they were still illegally billing me and she started reading a script about that I had to come in , in person to cancel the membership. I tried to explain I had moved my membership and the manager had found the mistake and had agreed to refund the debits. She kept interrupting me and telli ng me I had to come up in person to cancel it or it would continue to bill y bank account. I tried to tell her there was no active account at her locations so I did not need to do anything. They just needed to quit billing my account illegally. She then said she did not have to listen to my abuse and i needed to call back when a manager was there even though she had said earlier she was "The Manager " and then she hung up. It is a scam. They have no interest in anything but getting your name on a contract and then making it as hard and complicated as possible to cancel. They will continue to bill you hoping you will not notice. They will argue with you and lie to you and then just keep billing you even when it is absolutely perfectly clear that you have canceled.

There is a set of equipment upstairs meant to be used for a 30 minute workout. There are posted rules about using and switching stations. Everyone completely ignores them, with people sitting on stations for long periods of time without switching, often only coming to that set of equipment to use one piece then leaving. That is very clearly against the posted rules, and yet nobody seems to care, including the employees.

Today (and many days before) I have watched an employee clean the equipment while people were not following the posted rules... and they never say anything to anyone. It is extremely frustrating if you want to use the equipment for its intended purpose. You can pretty much count on never being able to use one or two pieces of equipment if you're actually doing the rotation.

Update: I am currently watching 4 people hog the first four machines in the rotation and completely ignore the timer. What is the point of this area if everyone just completely disregards the big sign posted right in the center of the entrance? The employees do not care at all.
