I feel like I’m basically paying for open playtime. Where’s the instruction?! It also seems like there’s favoritism towards the kids that already have a gymnastics foundation. We joined to learn! 5 mins of instruction at the end of class isn’t enough. My son likes gymnastics, but needs a push from a coach!

I agree with RBurk and Christie, there were entirely too many people in the class. Some kids had both parents, aunts, uncles, grandparents, and siblings with them. I overheard one of the coaches tell a parent that her older children had to wait in the lobby, but she ignored it. I remember getting a few emails from Riverbend saying only one parent and the registered student were allowed in the class. The problem continued and Riverbend eventually had to get rid of the class. It was very upsetting because my daughter and I really enjoyed it. Riverbend put the class back on the schedule last year and it’s much better. There are no older kids taking up the equipment and only one adult with a student. My daughter is learning so much and we’re looking forward to signing up for the next session. 100% recommend!

We couldn’t be happier with our daughter’s gymnastics experience! She always feels safe, encouraged, and supported by the coaches. She’s learning new skills each week, building confidence, and most importantly—having a great time.

My son Kai loves gymnastics. I’m so grateful for this outlet for his boy energy. He started as a weekly class, worked hard to get invited onto teams, and now looks forward to gym time 4 days a week. The boys are learning discipline, hard work, how to Build muscle, how to engage their core, and how to be a team cheering each other on. And maybe just a bit of competition. Kai wants to be a national rings champion. He’s setting goals and crushing them to learn new skills so he can progress and grow as an athlete. Thank you for pushing and encouraging these kids Coach Adrienne! We love you.

Our daughter has been with Riverbend Gymnastics for about 8 years. At the old gym and now currently at the new gym. She absolutely loves the gym and the coaches!

She started in pre-rec classes for a while before she decided she wanted to compete. At that time, she needed skills to get her to team. I talked to Coach Adrianne and our journey started.she’s now a Level 4 gymnast! She’s doing amazing and loves it! She would live at Riverbend if she could! Lol

Our daughter started off in recreational classes and quickly advanced to pre-team, then team. It's been a good experience for our family. My son began taking the trampoline and tumbling classes to help develop agility and strength, then moved on to recreational classes, then the boys team. This is the only competitive men's team facility on the Northshore. We've seen so many positive results from the dedication and training, especially as it translates to other sports. His strength, balance, sp Ed and agility has improved tremendously since gymnastics. We've been able to personal attention from coaches and staff and developed strong bonds with other gymnastics families.

I 100% agree with Christie’s review below. The area was entirely too crowded. Found there was no real instruction. They mis-pronounced our daughters names after mentioning it to them on multiple occasions. Also, to end every class they spend 10-15 minutes “stretching”. I get that’s important but not at that age. The kids just kind of sat there bored while the coach stretched. And we felt no real connection or sense of community here. LASTLY, for the first class, they didn’t mention anything about a location change so we spent the first 10 minutes of class at their OLD location.

We were disappointed with our experience here. The sectioned area for the class was way too small for the amount of kids they let sign up. My daughter loves gymnastics but the coaches stand around aimlessly instead of doing any type of instruction with the kids except for the last 5 minutes of each class. It should have been advertised as “open gym” instead of a gymnastics class because that’s what we got. We found it rude that at the end of the semester, no one said anything to the kids as a group for doing a good job or to say thank you for participating/this is the last class etc. They really just gave off the vibe that we were an inconvenience to the other classes they chose to have going on at the same time every class.

I went to a birthday party at this place and it was so great! Seemed so small from outside and parking was tight but once inside it has a nice size birthday room and the gym was so cute! The kids loved it! Very clean too!
