I have been training with Drew for almost 6 months now. I was completely new to strength training when I reached out. Drew was easy to get in touch with and has maintained that communication since. It became clear very quickly that Drew is passionate about safely training and educating his clients. I have never asked a question about a muscle group or an exercise that Drew couldn’t answer. In these past 6 months, I have seen such an improvement in my strength, posture, balance, and sleep. From hauling groceries to dancing all night with friends, I move with strength and confidence thanks to Drew. After a year of dealing with some pretty significant medical stuff that kept me from working out, the thought of stepping foot in a gym intimidated me. I was recommended Start Today Fitness and have had a wonderful experience since Drew started training me. Getting old and fat? I was. Still am actually but much stronger. Knees hurt way less, back hurts way less, feel more energized. Now I just need to stop eating king cake and all the workouts Drew has put me through will show their results by bikini season. 10/10; pick Drew and you will reverse the aging process, srsly.

I’ve been training with Drew at Start Today Fitness for over 2 years now, and the results have been beyond incredible! One of the most exciting achievements is my latest bone density scan showing a significant improvement, thanks to the weight-bearing exercises Drew has me doing twice a week. I've never been a gym person but knew I needed to get onto a better path with my personal health. I heard that the best thing you can do for yourself at my age is to work on core strength, so I started going to Drew. Starting from not knowing anything I was intimidated, but Drew has been great.
He's very patient and thoughtful but the real value is that each workout feels worth it. I started feeling stronger and more fit overall after a few months, and now I've been doing it for over a year with no plan to stop. Drew keeps track of where I'm at, skill-level wise, and he makes sure I'm getting a solid workout each week.
On top of that, he's just a really good guy and the environment he's created at his home is pretty nice.

Consistency is KEY! And Drew has it. This is what I was lacking and Drew is positive, adaptive and puts a very personal touch on each workout. He has a knack to understand the difference of when to push me on a certain workout and when to adapt if I am not at my 100% best. I've been with Start Today Fitness for over a year and 1/2 and I don't plan on changing anything about my fitness plan. Such a motivator without pushing too much.

I workout with Drew multiple times a week. Ive been working out with drew for a few years now. Drew is thoughtful and takes time to listen to the challenges his clients have whether theyre new to working out or want to change their focus. He keeps workouts interesting by writing tailored plans day to day and week to week. He gets creative with "challenges." Theres no way you'll get bored with drew, whether you always need a challenging workout or you want to talk about anything fitness or non-fitness related.

I started working out with Drew twice a week almost 7 months ago. I'd be the first to tell you that working out has never been my thing, I kind of hated it, and I never kept to any program longer than a few weeks. The way I feel and how STRONG I have become after this time working out with Drew is truly amazing. There is no way that I'd be able to keep myself accountable, push myself to increase intensity, and encourage my way to seeing these positive changes in my mental and physical health without Drew -- that's probably why it's never been my thing, I can't do it alone! Highly recommended for personal training. Easy to work with and provides clear and concise instructions on what to do and how to do it. Starting seeing results almost immediately. Drew is truly amazing. I’ve been training with Drew for over 5 years now and he never disappoints. He is constantly learning and then implementing new ways to build strength and maintain mobility. He is a no bs trainer. I appreciate that he keeps health and fitness simple. Drew listens to his clients and helps them achieve their goals as long as you’re willing to do your part. I have an appreciation for weightlifting and building strength because of him. I would highly recommend Drew to anyone who is new to weightlifting or someone who is wanting to take their workouts to the next level. I'm returning to Start Today after 1 year off because it's the best! I've been working out with Drew for almost 5 years. My workouts are geared toward strength not cardio which is what I'm looking for and when I feel my best! I’ve been training with Drew since June of 2020. He’s great! I had wanted to work with a trainer for a long time, and finding someone I felt comfortable with was the most important factor for me. As a person with chronic pain issues, I’ve never felt “fit” and I appreciate Drew providing a space for all bodies to access fitness. I also told Drew before we started that I did not want to work on diet, weight loss, or focus on what my body looks like, and it’s really great to work with someone who completely respects and understands that. I have been training with Drew at Start Today Fitness for over two years and have had nothing but a great experience. After essentially not working out for close to 10 years, I was reluctant to start training, however, I was very quickly glad I did and I started to see results quickly as well. Part of the reason I had not worked out previously was schedule and Drew has been very accommodating to work with an ever-changing schedule. In COVID times, Start Today Fitness offers a safe environment to train one on one. Social distancing is practiced and the equipment is sanitized constantly. When I have not been able to make in person training sessions, remote virtual training has been an option as well and worked as a great way to not fall out of the training rhythm. I have also had a very safe training experience with Drew. I've always been concerned about injury when training, but I am no longer concerned by that as Drew is diligent to make sure that all exercises are done properly. I am now lifting a good amount of weight and training with resistance and have never had any strain, discomfort, or injury in the training. Very safe! I also never thought that I would work with a trainer regularly, but I now view it as an essential part of general wellness along with healthy eating and other methods of self care. It is a very wise investment! I could not recommend Start Today Fitness more! If you are considering training with Start Today Fitness, go for it!

Drew is a true professional. He listens with the purpose of learning about your goals and discusses realistic paths to those goals. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the body. I have many back issues and tended to injure myself while working out on my own. I was doing the wrong exercises for my body. I would then be unable to work out pending re-cooperation and therefore never seemed to make any gains.
Drew stopped that cycle and my consistent workouts are far more effective. If I do have something that is hurting, Drew always manages to design a workout around the injury so I do not lose the consistency. My body is now much stronger and healthier in every way and I feel much better about my physical future.

Start Today Fitness has been a life saver during this current pandemic. In the beginning I found myself having a hard time with self discipline when it came to eating and exercising and I decided that things needed to change. I came across Start Today Fitness from a friend who said they may be willing to coach and train me virtually. I reached out to Drew and could instantly tell it was going to be a good fit. He did constant 'check in's' with me (sometimes many times during the day) and was extremely helpful when I was questioning my commitment to changing my health lifestyle. Because of Start Today Fitness I continued to stay motivated and lost 25lbs. in 12 weeks!!! I'm always so impressed with Drew's knowledge about the body and health, and how he is able to easily communicate that knowledge to me. He's always bettering himself and implementing new strategies or workouts when they seem useful. I can tell my workout was developed with me in mind, and he always does such a great job of considering what I need, especially in the case of an injury. I always feel encouraged and supported.
