Update: super weird that I posted this well over a year ago and you are posting an edited reply. I will reply as well. Just because this does not state my name does not mean that my child did not attend your dance studio. Slidell is a small town and I would rather not deal with any bs. It seems that I have stuck a nerve with my review. Very telling that you did not address a lot of statements in my review, I will assume that you are admitting that the rest of my statements are true. Yes, your dance reviews are Disney themed, anyone can go to your studio FB page and see that I am speaking the truth. Every year we were at your studio it was also Disney themed. Again, anyone can go to your FB page and see that the dance moves are very much redundant and see that I am speaking the truth.
I would have given more than one star, but my morals and values will not allow for that.

Update: a lot of people do not use real names or pictures, as there are a lot of creeps out there on the internet. I assure you I speak from experience.
Run do not walk away from this place. Yet another Disney themed recital? Same three tired dance moves? A studio owner that chooses to upstage his students due to his need to be the center of attention at all times? A studio owner that is only capable of doing said three dance moves? You might think your child is thriving here, but reality is, they are being set up for failure if they attempt to go elsewhere. Very little is taught, no fundamentals. They choose to put focus into the children that attend their church and will stand by them no matter how wrong it is. Take a hard look in the mirror, you reap what you sow.

We did a private tumbling class with Coach Chia, she's absolutely AMAZING!!! Very patient and knowledgeable, my daughter absolutely loved her lesson today and is already asking to go back 😁

My daughter is finishing up her 13th year of dance, her 6th year at Studio G. Mrs. Carmen and Mrs.Lyns were her very first dance teachers at 2 years old, and still teach her! We love the all the teachers and staff, we’re all a big family. The competition team kids treat each other like siblings, and all the parents are bonus “moms”, aunts and uncles to every kid. My daughter’s dancing continues to improve! The recital is always entertaining!

Hands down best dance studio. My son has been with Studio G for 3 years now and they have done such an amazing job not only teaching him dance but helping him feel confident, comfortable and come out of his shell. Best studio, hands down! After being at the same studio for 4 years in a previous town, we moved to Slidell. I had to make a heart breaking decision to switch dance studios for my daughter. Taking her away from the only studio she and I knew was terrifying. We tried another studio in Slidell, before coming to Studio G. After 4 months of being there, they didn’t even know my child’s name. Before the very first practice at Studio G, we already felt like family! I love our Studio G family! All of the staff and students treat you like they’ve been knowing you their entire lives!

Also, boys dance too! My 3 year old son is in his first year this year, and he loves it! He cannot wait to see his teacher, Ms. Lynsey, every Monday. He knows which vehicles Ms Carmen and Mr Ector drive, and he’s always looking for them in the parking lot!

More than just a studio... they are family and friends and the Best dance studio around! Their love and care for our children makes your mama heart very happy. You never have to worry about the music they choose for your children or the costumes that they pick out for them to wear! They keep it clean, fun, but still sassy and stylish. We have so much fun and look stunning for every dance. There aren’t many places you can go and have your child feel so welcomed and loved & this one far exceeds any other studio. They understand hard work, discipline, and dedication, but yet also understand the importance of family time and togetherness. We’ve been here for 4 years and will continue to be until they kick us out! ;)

As an adult who danced professionally many, many, many years ago, it's hard to find classes that are fun, challenging enough for me and a good work out. Ector has accomplished all this in his adult hip hop class. The class participants range in all different levels of experience, yet he still ties it all together and we have so much fun. After years of looking for adult classes, and literally 3 states later, I am happy to have found studio g. :) My 10 year old also loves her class with Carmen as well!

This is the best dance studio in Slidell, possibly in the state. They have dance teachers that have won several awards for there work, and they care about making a difference in kids life's.
