I joined the FIT-ING room for a 28-day StrongHER challenge. This has been the best investment I’ve made in myself postpartum! David’s program got me back into the gym for the first time in five years (and after two c-sections). David’s met me where I’m at in my fitness journey and helped me embrace a “progress over perfection” mindset that’s allowed me to stick with the program and bring fitness and nutrition into my new mom life with two little ones under two. I was skeptical to expect results in 28-days and was pleasantly surprised to see real results on InBody measurements with fat loss and increased muscle. I joined the fitting room in mid July and it’s been great. I am a female over 60 and am a runner but that was no longer enough to keep weight off. I now run three days a week and go to the fitting room classes three days a week and am seeing results. My stamina has definitely increased and I have lost body fat and gained muscle which has made me faster (and my clothes fit better!!). The support from the coaches is great and the classes are well structured with a lot of variety. Very happy I joined and highly recommend!

I signed up for a challenge with a long time member of The FIT-ING Room and was pleasantly surprised. It wasn’t just a gym, even for a non-member. I not only got to attend any/all classes that are all led by trainers, I also got a complete meal plan and a strategy session to discuss my goals. I liked it so much, once the challenge was done I joined, and have continued to get the support, motivation and guidance I need to be successful.
I can’t wait to attend my workout classes and miss them when I can’t, it’s been the best decision I’ve made for myself and my health!

I truly love everything about this gym. It’s not your traditional let’s go sling some iron gym it’s more. The coach’s and the atmosphere are incredible. Carter brings an energy that you can’t help but love whether it’s 5am or 5pm. David is always available and brings years of knowledge to help with any questions or issues you may be having. I have spent a long time searching for the right gym, and I finally found it. For years, I struggled to find my rhythm and wasn’t sure if I would ever find a place that I actually enjoyed. I have always focused mostly on cardio, thinking I needed to only lose weight. But at the Fit-ing Room, I have experienced alot of growth. I have embraced HIIT and strength training, which has been empowering because I wasn't sure I would even be able to keep up with all the amazing people there.
I have learned about better nutrition without following strict diets, and the importance of vitamins now. This change has truly transformed my life. After being hospitalized and facing death, I did not think I would ever feel healthy again. Now, I feel stronger than ever. I sleep well, look forward to our classes, and feel proud after each session.

I am so grateful I found David and Carter at the Fit-ing room! After a big move from Texas to the MS Gulf Coast a year ago, I have been struggling with menopausal weakness and weight gain and didn’t know what to do. It has been a year of change and stress getting acclimated to a new job, humid climate and slower pace of life. The immediate motivation I felt after my first meeting with David made me feel like my health goals were achievable with hard work and commitment, and after my fifth class I already feel stronger, am facing my fears and the weight is dropping. Carter’s energy and dedication makes you want to push harder during work outs, and David’s kindness helped me through a very challenging moment during the savage Saturday morning class today. This place feels very different from any gym I’ve been to before. It’s personalized to your needs, with a focus on nutrition and strength training by creative coaches that know what they are doing. The other members are also so encouraging, sharing stories about when they joined and how far they have come. I have a long road ahead, but I’m starting to believe I can make the changes needed to power through my 50’s feeling stronger and healthier than I have in a long time. I've loved being a member here. David and Carter have been great coaches and motivators. They've worked with me individually and during the classes to get through some past injuries and weak areas, as well as providing nutrition planning and reaching out outside of the gym for motivation, encouragment and help as needed. I was always that person that thought it would be nice to get in shape and work out but never found the time or the motivation to actually do it. Plus working out scared me. I didn’t know what I was doing in a gym or what form was or anything. Fitness places always gave me anxiety. Until one day I was tired of being tired, I was tired of my own excuses and I was tired of doing fad diets, starving myself and never really getting any where. I contacted David at The Fitting Room and everything he said made sense and I thought yeah I can do this. Scared out of my mind. I signed up and jumped in. I can honestly say that it was the best decision I ever made for myself! I am learning how to eat, how to workout and how to make time for myself (something I have never done before).TRF is a place I enjoy going. Not only has it given me more energy/motivation for my son, but the people I have met are incredible and very inspiring! They have truly helped me feel like we are a part of something great! This is so much more than a gym. I don’t even have words to explain it! All I can say is that you will not be disappointed! If you even have any inkling that you want to get your health back and also be a part of something wonderful and go after something good with a bunch of other people who want to do the same and also love God then this is the place for you! After years of attempting better health and fitness through various diets and exercise programs (that didn't work or only gave temporary weight loss results without improving my health), I decided to give The FIT-ING Room a try after seeing the remarkable results a friend of mine was getting through the program. I can now speak from my own personal experience! I've never been so strong at any age in my teens or adult life. I have lost excess fat and increased muscle mass. I am seeing a change in my body shape as I develop more tone throughout and it feels SO GOOD!!! I have seen improvement in my grip strength and posture. I now have the stamina to stand on my feet or walk for long periods without fatigue or lower back ache. Another obvious change is the decrease in swelling/inflammation. I have more energy and am sleeping better too. Having the personal direction and support of the experienced and knowledgeable staff at The FIT-ING Room has been a huge influence in my progress. If you are looking for a great place to get in a great workout, then this is the place to be. There are coaches to help in each class, they work within your capabilities and also help with your form. In addition to that, they help you with your nutrition,
are very knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions you might have. All the coaches are friendly, approachable and are available to help any way they can. If you are not here, you are surely missing out, as this is not your ordinary gym setting. Love this place!
If your looking for an extended family, then this is a great place for that as well. Come and meet new people and coaches that care about you! An experience you will not find anywhere else.

The FIT-ing Room will give you all of the pieces to the puzzle all you have to do is want to put it together and they even will show you how.
I have access to a coach anytime, if I can't make a class because life gets in the way, I still have 24/7 access to the facility, and they even have an app that will show you how to do your own workouts through videos with timers so it is like being in the class. You have issues with your back or knees, well they have you covered there as well with modifications so you can still feel the burn without having to worry about further injury.
The challenges are great, the themes are awesome and it makes working out fun.
The best part is a few of the coach's started in the program so they know where you are and what struggles you may face. It is nice to have someone helping you that also is not judging they just encourage you and are sincere about it.
This isn't a gym it is an experience!

Since joining the Fit-ing Room just 1 month ago, I have lost both weight and joint pain and gained strength and more energy. In-fact, they will walk you every step of the way. They will be there to cheer you on and provide the accountability we all need to be in better shape both physically and mentally.
Being a bariatric patient seven years out I need the continued support to ensure I never go back. I need the accountability to keep me in line and challenge me to meet my goals. I highly recommend the fitting room and David if you not only want to lose weight and get in shape but have a total body transformation. David is a very motivating instructor and really knows what he is doing. The workout are intense but at the end you feel so much better. In 6 weeks I lost over 25 pounds and feel 100% better. I’ve enjoyed the workouts. It’s been great to be active first thing in the morning. I love the women encouraging other women. If I had any recommendations for improvement, I would say to get someone to study about the needs of your Bariatric participants. Our nutritional needs are very different from your non-Bariatric participants. Cheri has done a great job of modeling the 1% more during workouts. When she is working out rather than leading, she works super hard. She does a great job leading as well. She keeps a watchful eye and makes sure everyone is using proper technique and helps make adjustments when needed.

The trainers and coaches are very knowledgeable about both nutrition and exercise. They give you information on what will work for you specifically when it comes to transforming your body. As long as you don’t overthink it, and trust the process, it’s really full proof. One thing I personally appreciate the most is their ability to convey empathy and sympathy. They know things in life happen, and are understanding and patient when you might be experiencing struggles in any form. So I would say they are not only trainers for your diet and physique, but I would consider them as life coaches as well. They are great motivators and genuinely want to see their clients succeed. I’ve been with The FIT-ING Room for well over a year now and it has been one of the best decisions I’ve made for myself. Not only have I seen changes in my physical body, but mentally this place does so much for me too. I look forward to a great workout after a stressful day at work.
When I first met David I told him the schedule wouldn’t work for me because I only work out in the morning. He challenged me to think beyond how I’ve always done things and now you’ll find me at the gym a few evenings a week.

I would recommend this gym to everyone I know. Especially mothers who need to blow of some steam. I enjoy the coaches so much, because they motivate you. I love that it’s a women’s gym. I rarely answer ads, and I have surely never answered one about a gym or weight loss program, but in just 5 months I have not only lost weight and inches, I have gained physical and mental strength that I didn’t know I needed. The coaches are there to not only ensure safety and provide guidance, they personally encourage and teach me how to get stronger. I really enjoyed the ladies I met through the 6-week challenge. Some I already knew and then I made a few new friends. The Coaches are really helpful and the eating plan is not as hard as I thought it was going to be. The 45-minute workouts made me sweat but I always feel good after. I can’t say enough about this place and all of the trainers and members. I am forever grateful for these past 6 weeks with the Take Back Your Life Challenge. I truly was able to get a hold and take back my life and prioritize my health which was on a drastic downward spiral. I worked so hard toward my goal and even though I crushed one and fell a tad bit short on the other, my progress and results were mind blowing. I lost 17.9 pounds, lost a total of 17.8 inches, and lost 6.8% body fat. I gained 2 lbs of muscle but lost 22.1 pounds of fat in 6 weeks! Truly unbelievable! The accountability factor that you get from the Fit-ing room is worth every penny that you spend there becoming a member in addition to all the added services that are offered within the membership. I am so excited to continue my journey with everyone and crush my next goal!

The trainers really work to make sure you have correct technique and working within your own personal limitations. I love the staff and the small group setting. I love that it's focused only on women's health and fitness, has small personal groups. It's a fun environment and the program really does work if you follow it. I feel so accomplished after doing the 6 week challenge and finishing with a 20.8 lbs loss. So I haven't worked out in years & all of a sudden I have 'old lady arms' lol... a friend told me about this challenge & I decided that I had to go for it! This is only my first week & it's been hard I have to admit, but I'm determined that I'm going to finish the challenge at least... the trainer, David, is great... very encouraging but pushes us to push ourselves... everyone I have met at the Fit-ing room has been lovely, from the staff to the other ladies... I just finished the 6 week challenge. This was the program that lured me in the door and the reason I ultimately decided to become a full member before even completing it. I am not new to fitness & have tried several different programs/styles of training. In my opinion, David Dear has done a phenomenal job putting all of the pieces together in a way that makes sense, is easy to follow and provides as little or as much support as you need. The three prong approach (guided nutrition, workouts & accountability) is very effective. Not doing all at the same time has often been the reason I didn’t meet my goals.
The workouts are very well designed and are excellent at allowing all fitness levels to achieve a great burn. The coaches are wonderfully upbeat and supportive every step of the way. It is truly a highlight of my day coming here.
In conclusion, what a review should really cover are results! That is what we all want out of a fitness program, right?! Who cares how nice everyone is if it doesn’t get to where you want to be. So, let me just say that you need not look any further, this program delivers - with one caveat - you have to be willing to put in the work and the discipline. I gave it my all and was rewarded with a total loss of over 15 inches in just 6 weeks!! So, if you’re ready to change your life & shed all the extra stuff holding you back then this is the place for you!

I’m so glad I made the decision to take the 6 week challenge at the Fit-ing room. I had contemplated it for months and cancelled because “I didn’t have the time” but then I realized that as a teacher and a mom of 4, life is always going to be busy and I deserved to do something for me. My clothes were tight, my eating habits were awful, and knew I needed to make a change. I have had an amazing experience and after 6 weeks, all my clothes fit again and some are even loose. I feel better mentally and physically and look forward to the classes each week. David and his staff are wonderful and hold you accountable and the ladies who work out there are so supportive. Highly recommend giving the Fit-ing Room a chance.

I love everything about this gym- the workouts, the environment, and most of all the people! I’ve never been to a gym where so many people connect. The owner, David, reaches out regularly to see how his clients are doing and what he can do to help. The entire staff genuinely cares for the clients- and that goes beyond just health and fitness.. I know this first-hand. I am never bored with my workouts since they change each day. After following my meal plan and getting my workouts in each week, I began to notice results pretty quickly. I decided this year at my birthday in July it was time to take my health back. I joined the 6 week challenge David offered the first week of August. After 6 weeks I'm down 2% body fat and feel great! Joining the fitting room was the best decision I've made for myself in years. After having my third kid, putting myself and health was last on my priority list. David has been amazing at explaining why and how we need protein, vitamins, EAAs, greens, all of it. It makes sense and after 6 weeks, I'm finally not sick all the time, I fit in my clothes better, my kids are in the routine of mom going to the gym, and I can even bring them with me if I need to.
