The Iron Bar is a gym located in Abita Springs, Louisiana.
We provide a high-quality hand selected equipment; NOT stuff you will find in every other gym! We offer equipment for all levels of fitness from the beginner to the most elite powerlifter or bodybuilder.
We offer a family-friendly vibe where you are not just a member; we want you to feel like you are with your second family when you walk in the door. We want you to succeed in your goals. We want to help you become the best version of you!
The Iron Bar provides basic help understanding how to use machines for free and also provides access to quality 3rd party trainers to choose from.

Owner is genuinely one of the most passionate people I know when it comes to fitness. I really couldn’t think of anyone better to run a gym like this! Gym is clean, hardcore, and the machines are hand selected! Highly recommend

The vibe here is absolutely unmatched — there’s truly no other gym like it. The atmosphere just feels different the moment you walk in. You can tell it’s built on passion and community, not just weights and machines.
I drive 30 minutes just to come to this gym, and it’s 100% worth it every time. Ray Ray, the owner, is always present and genuinely cares about helping everyone who walks through the door. He’s approachable, knowledgeable, and always willing to help or answer questions when you need it. He’s even been giving me great tips and encouragement on my lifestyle change journey. You don’t find that kind of support everywhere.
If you’re looking for a gym that feels like home but still pushes you to be better, The Iron Bar is it. 💪

A MUST TRY GYM! First time stepping into the facility & it feels like I've been coming here forever. Great atmosphere & even better equipment, machines I've never seen before from the UK. If you are serious about lifting, look no further- also the red light bed is great. I chopped it up with the owner tonight, great guy- and best part is he knows what he's talking about! Love to see a gym like this on the northshore
