The staff are very rude, and facilities like the hot tub, sauna, and pool are often out of order. On more than one occasion I've been scolded by staff for still being in the locker room five minutes before closing time. They also charge a 100% fee for late payments, so if you're late by even one day you get charged twice what you normally pay.

Also, people do not respect the rules about wearing swimsuits in the hot tub. It is very disgusting to see people in their dirty underwear get in the hot tub with you, and nothing is done about it.

I've only ever tolerated this place for the pool. That's the only redeeming quality about this gym. The service is terrible. Staff communication is absent. The facilities are under repair for months at a time.

For the last few months prior to writing this review, I had been going to this gym regularly to swim. I went to this gym at all hours of the morning, evening, weekdays, and weekends. Everytime I came into the gym (most) of the front desk staff barely acknowledged my existence. I'm fine with not being greeted although I think it is unprofessional. NOT ONCE did any staff member communicate to me that there may be an issue with my account despite several opportunities to do so.

Finally, on a HOLIDAY weekend, I'm informed by a front desk staff member that my account was not only canceled, but the passed due amount had already been SENT TO COLLECTIONS?!?! I was literally just in there the day before on a Friday morning where NO ONE said a single word to me concerning any passed due amount.

It turns out that months ago my card was stolen and had to be replaced. Most subscription services that I did not remember to update had the decency to send a reminder or an alert whenever they attempted to charge my account.

Instead of a call, text, email, smoke signal, or generally make the slightest bit of effort to communicate to me that there may be an issue with my account, ALL THE STAFF chose to remain silent when I walked in. I find that kind of behavior incredibly cowardly and incompetent.

When i originally joined this gym I made it very clear that I was going to be moving 4.5hours away back to south Louisiana. I was assured that I would not be held under contract as long as I could prove that I had moved. Here we are almost 4 months later and I brought them in my brand new State issued Drivers License and was told by the management that my Louisiana State issued drivers license wasn't sufficient evidence that I had moved. I have not been to this gym in almost 4 months and they will not stop trying to bill my account. The wellness center is just another money hungry unreasonable lying business. I was assured that it wouldn't be an issue as long as I had proof of a change of address and somehow my State Issed Drivers License isn't sufficient evidence. What a joke 😃

One-Star Review: A Masterclass in Incompetence

If you’re looking to waste your money, your time, and your patience, this is the place for you. We signed our son up for what we were explicitly told was swimming camp…a fun, active program for kids who already know how to swim. We paid for camp. We were told we were enrolled in camp. But apparently, at this wellness center, communication is a mystical art no one has mastered.

Fast-forward to a week before camp starts, and we’re told casually, like it’s no big deal that our son is actually enrolled in swimming lessons. You know, for beginners. For kids who don’t already swim laps in open water like ours does. Confused, we called to clarify. The response? A shrug and a “sorry, camp’s full now.” Their mistake, our problem.

But wait, it gets better: after FOUR DAYS of these redundant lessons, the swim coach casually mentions that our son was actually listed under the camp roster all along. That’s right…he was in the right group, and the front desk somehow bungled the paperwork so badly that he was misplaced into lessons instead. We paid for a premium experience and got a glorified daycare with kickboards.

The manager? Utterly useless. No accountability, no solution, just a lot of corporate-style “we understand your frustration” filler that meant absolutely nothing. The whole thing could’ve been resolved if anyone had taken two seconds to actually check the records.

Bottom line: our son wasted a week doing something he didn’t need, we paid for a service we didn’t receive, and no one at this facility seemed remotely concerned about fixing the situation. Complete failure at every level.

Never again. And if you value your sanity or your wallet run the other direction.

The place is good and I appreciate the management and leadership being so respectful to people from all backgrounds ( regardless of color, gender, age) to treat all with respect and dignity and care and empathy. It’s important for the staff and leadership and members to be cordial and respectful to each other. No bullying and grunting and aggressive behavior should be allowed by members as it’s a family place and it should promote a safe and inclusive environment where everyone feels safe and not threatened and outcasted due to their background or looks and age or gender. If I could leave zero stars I would. Our contract ended December of 2024. January of 2025 I was charged for 3 different accounts 270 dollars when i only ever had one account. I go up there very politely mind you. They refund me say that they have cancelled my membership and life goes on. Feburary 2025 charged for one membership AGAIN after I specifically asked that this issue be resolved in January. On top of the fact while we did have the membership we tried to get personal training and when filling it out online they told us to call, then we would call and they would say fill it out online. this happened 4 times before we just said forget it. Im done. Yall are lucky my wife has patience bc Im sending her up there to get me my refund and if it doesn’t get cancelled this time Im causing a scene.

The trainers are AWESOME!! 💥⚡️Devonte & Gwen! I am too hot swimming laps so water temp is a tad too high if you’re doing laps. I can use the flat loop outside but PLEASE put fountains for heat. There’s not much shade. Locker rooms could be updated and as someone mentioned, I’ve also seen stuff floating in pool. People don’t rinse before getting in I guess. Spin is fun! I’m sure it’s expensive to upkeep but you could use some updating: locker room floors & lockers. How about adding Versa climber to wish list! Indoor track?? Thank you for keeping it going!!

Love love love the wellness center. Not nearly as crowded as other local gyms, so many options for different classes that come with your membership. They have a women’s only workout area which is a plus. The women who run the childcare area are so sweet and attentive. The free childcare while working out is an absolute godsend. Really good smoothies at the concession area as well.

Never in a million years did I think I would want to go to a gym everyday. Plus I try my best to be there at 4:30 AM to swim. Everyone is SO friendly. I have made lots of new friends. All the machines are cleaned constantly. You never have to wait to use one since there are so many. The sauna in the ladies locker room is a great help with my sinuses. Seriously, Wellness is the best. Dawn is the best also. Karon always has a smile and always asks how I am doing, she is a keeper.

Good for what it is, big fish in a small pond. They could be cleaner (pool and women’s locker room both have visible mold and things floating in the pool, which while swimming laps are slightly off putting). Decent weight equipment and I give them especially high marks for the Women’s only weight area which is top notch and a perfect place to avoid the steroid laced masses of the Men’s area. Best gym in the area but not because they’ve tried. Also for those who are not Evangelical and even those who are just be warned you will likely be working out to at least a few worship songs in the Yoga and Spin classes later in the week. Tuesday night Yoga and Wednesday night Spins best if you’re looking for a good workout without Church in the mix.

I bought a one day pass for $15 dollars with interest in getting the $65 monthly subscription plus fees. I was most interested in what was advertised as a woman's only work out area. Which only consists of a two person sauna that doesn't stay hot and a 6 person jacuzzi that didn't work with some showers.

I signed up for 6 month contract for me, my two boys and my husband and they marked 12 months and billed me a year. They never even printed me the contract I signed on the computer so I could even see it. I called 3 times, left my number and the manger never could even call me back. I had to physically go in and deal with a very RUDE Botox/filler 👩 who refused to even listen to what the problem was or why no one could even call me back, or how this could have happened. Very unprofessional and Very dishonest business. I’ve never in my life had to deal with a situation of dishonesty and such rudeness from a business. What’s funny is the woman who did my contract last March said “I accidentally clicked the 12 months but don’t worry I fixed it” and she obviously didn’t! They won’t call u back, they won’t do their job, and they won’t be honest or professional. Go to planet fitness. They are honest, they give u the contract and their manager is nice and professional.

This is definitely the best gym in the area. Especially if you need a temporary daycare for an hour or 2 for you to work out at. Natalie is the most amazing yoga instructor that I've had and is the first yoga instructor that focuses on building strength. Not including all of their other amazing classes. My children get to enjoy their kids fit classes/ camps/ swimming classes and so forth. This place is a positive part of my daily routine.

Gabriel is in the second session of swim lessons, and I love how his instructor is building upon his skills from the first session. The swim instructor is excellent, nice but firm, and that's exactly what Gabriel needs. He has swam the length of the pool, and doing great. The Wellness Center is a great place for kids to learn swimming and a great place to exercise. Gabriel absolutely loves his lessons and looks forward to them!

This review is for using the pool for parties. We love it so much! There is a lifeguard on duty, and the pool is only four-foot deep. Even in the cold of winter, the kids can still swim, and the cost is no more than anywhere else.

I wish the pool was a bit cooler it but it's the only indoor pool in town. The temp is around 85 or 86 and it needs to be around 79- 82 range. The wet sauna and hot tub is nice but the outdoor track is shaped weird and has no outdoor water fountains.
