This place has everything! I came here to see Dr. Trevor Boudreaux. He and the care team are very professional and friendly. He will explain the procedure he will perform fully as well as what you can expect. This is the first time I have been to an establishment that has ultrasound imaging that is on while he is giving me the steroid shots in my knees that make such a big difference in helping me with my already limited mobility. This is not my 1st visit to his office. The chair in his office is easy to get into. At the cafeteria they have signs to help you make better choices of what to eat and drink. We did not eat there though so I can't comment on it.

I've seen the basic gym before , but this one has everything you could ever want. From swimming, Sona, jacuzzi, steam room walking track, cycle class, zumba class which is my personal favorite. They also have weight lifting, basketball court, volleyball court. They even have massages on hand which does not include membership . I love going here at least 3 times a week. Personal trainers are also available if needed.

We joined as a family, one deciding factor was that it is not a recreational facility, but a wellness facility. There are three pools, an activity pool, a lap pool and a therapy pool. The staff are friendly, and helpful. The equipment great and this looks like it will be a long term activity for us.

I called my insurance BCBS of Louisiana and there is no fitness center in Thibodaux in their network.
Would you all consider joining them so we (BCBS of La.) can join the wellness center?!!!!!

I'm sure this will be a great facility. However...
1) Recreational swimming will be discouraged.
2) This will be an essentially adults-only facility. Children 12-15 can join with a parent, but children under 12 will have to attend the daycare facility. I had hoped to join with my entire family to encourage a fit lifestyle for my children. I wanted to have a place for them to swim year-round without driving to another city that offers a heated pool. Guess I will have to keep doing that.
3) Cannot walk in the door in scrubs (because they are "dirty"--although many healthcare workers walk around the hospital all day in regular street clothes, in which members WILL be allowed to walk in the door). I understand not wanting people to use the equipment in scrubs, but walking straight to the locker room in scrubs will not be allowed either.

I will not be joining, as our family's needs are currently filled by other places in the area.
