Casco Bay Movers Dance Studio has led diverse dance education in Maine since 1983. We proudly provide the highest quality training to all movers ages walking through adults in a warm and welcoming environment. Enrollment is now open for our fall programs. Weekly adult drop-in classes for all movers are available year-round. Our dedicated teaching artists are professionals in their field and include professors of dance, choreographers and directors of theater and dance companys, current and former professional dancers, presenters, community leaders and more.
Casco Bay Movers is also home to Portland Youth Dance, a non-profit youth company, providing pre-professional training and comprehensive community class and scholarship programs.

I love Casco Bay Movers so much! They are a truly inclusive studio who believes dance is for everyone. I'm a former professional dancer who loves to take class for enjoyment, and they have a wonderful diversity of options and fabulous teachers. My daughter takes their childrens' classes and I am impressed by their focus on dance as an art form, strong education, and the joy of movement for everyone. Really love this special and welcoming place.

I have been dancing for many years. It’s been a struggle to find a good studio that puts its dancers first. Casco bay movers is just that. It’s a safe haven for dancers. Overall a beautiful studio with beautiful and loving people.

I rented this space for my dance company rehearsals and will be booking their space again. The front desk staff is friendly, sound systems work well, the building is clean and spacious. Lots of studio spaces and a great common area for gathering. I highly recommend.
