I really wanted to love this place because I have really enjoy similar yoga spaces, but I noticed cleanliness could be a lot better than I witnessed.
Here is what i saw: the instructor wanted us to get two blankets, a yoga pillow, blocks, a sand bag, and an eye mask if we wanted. I got all the props and noticed that there was something super sharp on the blanket. I took it to the closet so I could see a little better what was going on and there were a bunch of little thorns in the yoga blanket! I put the blanket back and chose a different one which smelled odd like someone had used it, but i figured a smelly blanket is better than a thorny blanket.
At the end of the class I realized why the blankets were gross: nothing was washed or sanitized, folks. She didn't have us put the pillows and blankets in a separate pile or anything like that. She didn't have us clean off our blocks. I was at least pleased to see that she had the person who chose the eye mask remove the inside part of the eye mask and give the fabric portion to her (to presumably be washed/sanitized).

I personally hate being sick because being sick means money lost for me. I get if you don't want to believe in all science, but can we at least get on the same page about germs and how germs could affect some of your customers? It really stressed me out to see your sanitary practice was this lax just before flu season. I was really interested in aerial yoga before I discovered your lack of hygiene practices: how often do those pieces of fabric that are wrapped around people's bodies get washed? $35 for a drop-in rate isn't really that bad of a price, but considering you aren't ACTUALLY providing your clients with clean equipment I would say $35 is a bit overpriced; When you can start providing a clean space with clean equipment $35 will be reasonable, but until that time people will just be paying you $35 so you can get them sick just in time for the holidays.

I absolutely loved the Saturday yin class. It was relaxed, not crowded and the pace was perfect. All around very positive vibes.

I am visiting from out of town. Otherwise, this would definitely my yoga home.

I've been going to this studio regularly for about a year. Leah is wonderful! She is always making thoughtful adjustments, both to the studio, and our poses (if we are open to adjustments). I have previously injured myself doing yoga, but at this studio, I feel very safe. There is attention and time given to finding good form and alignment. I had never tried aerial hammocks before, but I find these classes playful and completely accessible. The other teachers Leah has trained or brought to the studio are each great in their own ways. I recommend trying out a bunch of the varied offerings and seeing what fits you best.

I had never experienced aerial yoga before and took a class with Leah. She was so warm and friendly from the moment I walked in and beautifully guided us in and out of the poses... oh my goodness the poses in aerial yoga feel AMAZING. Nice, long, deep holds to really nourish and open the body. Love it! I'll be back!

I highly recommend Forever Wild Yoga. I have attended three of Leah’s outdoor yoga retreats and always return home grounded and at peace. Leah’s retreats have the perfect combination of yoga and outdoor experiences (hiking, paddle boarding, snowshoeing). Most importantly, I have the utmost trust in Leah, both in guiding me through yoga poses and in the great outdoors.
