My 3 daughters (ages 8,10, and 12) and I have spent the last few summers at NEGTC with them as campers and myself working on staff. This camp quickly became our home away from home and everyone here became our family. My girls look forward to camp all year and talk everyday about all their camp adventures. It’s an incredible camp where they are able to try all different sports and activities. The directors and leadership team are great and make everyone feel welcome, truly one big family! Cant wait for many more summers at camp!

I have been going for 4 years straight and I am always looking forward to it every one is so amazing and I have been to many camps in the past but this one has always been the best. You meet so many wonderful people and most of them I still keep in touch with them.

A couple years ago I decided I wanted to do something nice for my nephew. He was interested in golf and tennis and I randomly (Google) came across this little piece of heaven - New England Golf and Tennis Camp. For my nephew this turned out to be one of the best things that ever happened to him. He said that his last two summers were the best summers of his life. Besides incredible golf and tennis instruction, he had an opportunity to wakeboard, tube and water ski everyday. Golf and tennis are still his first love but he also fell in love with watersports. Most importantly he made incredible friends that he stays in touch with throughout the year and he's already talking about next summer. I love that he gets specialty camp instruction in a traditional summer camp atmosphere. It's perfect! Thanks to Bob and his staff for taking such great care of him and providing him with an incredible summer experience. By the way, he also raves about the food... especially the homemade pizza, chicken parm and dinner rolls.

My son has consistently enjoyed his last 3 summers here immensely. The elective offerings were diverse and numerous. The trips were a highlight, the facility itself is classic sleepaway camp, and the staff was exceptional (and international! Another great thing!). Even the food was great! So grateful he had such a wonderful experience, and grateful to Bob for putting so much of himself into it.

My three children have attended New England golf and tennis camp over the last seven years. Last spring my daughter was the only freshman to earn a varsity letter on her tennis team with her only instruction at camp. She had started attending for golf and picked up an interest in tennis two years ago. My third child isn’t really interested in either golf or tennis yet attends camp for all of the social craft, and waterfront sports. All of my children love the water skiing, slalom skiing, tubing and wakeboarding. They started attending for one week and this past summer attended for six. They tell me it’s the best part of the entire year and are already planning on their attendance for the next summer. Pictures are posted daily to help parents keep up to date on their children’s adventures. Over the years they have attended old orchard, funtown, whitewater rafting and Portland sea dog games. Their exposure to other children from all over the world has been amazing too. They keep in touch throughout the year. NEGTC has been an interval part of my children’s development—so happy I found them years ago!

The camp has a very strong over 100 history on the same beautiful Maine lake in Belgrade, and offers include professional wakeboard and waterskiing instruction to round out the most comprehensive kid and teen experience! I can't say enough about the experience my daughter comes away with as a 4 time repeat camper, she loves it! And she raves about the food and desserts too. You're created raving camper fans that will be back again and again!

My son enjoyed this camp in the past, but during the pandemic the camp was cancelled for most weeks and the owner has failed to return our camp tuition (several thousand dollars). I’m not sure if I’m the only one with this issue, but I’m still struggling to get our camp tuition back that we prepaid. I’m so distraught about the fact that our hard earned funds are gone.

WOW! What an amazing place and so perfect for celebrating any special lifetime event with friends and family! We rented the camp for a 4 day weekend to celebrate a wedding anniversary - had friends and family members of all ages fly out from across the country to enjoy the spectacular scenery and all the best of Maine summer activities. Facing west, sunsets are incredible and it was so much fun doing a variety of water activities (you name it, it's available!), golfing tourneys and tennis matches, etc. The staff was amazing - with 100+ people in attendance the food and service was exceptional the entire weekend. Lodging included a combination of bunk houses - the bridesmaids & groomsmen each had one -- and individual cabins for couples (even with handicap accessibility). The facilities had everything -- the decks are large enough waterside to serve meals as well as a huge dining hall that can fit a band and dancing along with a cozy lodge which we set up as a 24 hr "refreshment stand'. The owner Bob is a pleasure to work with and so accommodating and believe me, we were not an easy group! I can't recommend this place highly enough, it was a lifetime highlight not only for us but for all those that attended.

CURE FOR OUR COVID CONUNDRUMS!
After my son's tournaments were canceled I knew that this summer would be his chance to experience sleep-away. Although disappointed that the 1st sleep-away camp closed, I LUCKED out when I spoke to Bob, at NEGTC! Instead of just signing up my son, I decided to come to camp with him! IT WAS THE BEST THING we could have ever done! The counselors had a wealth of skills and passions which they shared with the campers. The GOLF PROs helped him improv his swing and learn proper golf etiquette while he was able to play on some of the most gorgeous nearby golf courses! The evening activities were engaging and memorable! The variety and quality of the food was 1st rate!
He made many friendships with campers because of the intimate setting and opportunities for him to choose his own daily schedule of activities!
I too, got to work with a talented leadership staff who were an integral part in ensuring our COVID FREE SUCCESS STORY!

Absolutely beautiful camp, so many fun activities. I know my daughter is having a blast because she called asking to stay another week! This is her 2nd year attending and the memories friendships and adventures are worth everything and more especially with the way things have been this year. I know that when I leave she is at the most amazing camp that is not only fun but safe as well! Bob and his incredible team have created a stellar program that allowed our children to attend camp while protecting their health, which I know my daughter couldn’t wait to get rid of ‘mom & dad’ so this is definitely invaluable to us! Bottom line- your child will have an amazing time, you will get a little quiet and there will be plenty of adventure stories when they get home!

My teenage son needed to improve his golf game to make the high school team but more importantly he needed to get out of the neighborhood for the summer and meet new people and have new experiences. I found NEGT on a straight google search. I vetted the camp for several months and did all of my research. NEGT has been exactly what my son needed. The place is magical. This is NOT a traditional sleep-a-way camp. It is MUCH BETTER than that! The attention each kid receives is amazing. The staff is "all in" to ensure each kid has a positive experience that will not be forgotten. The Camp Director/Owner is one of the most decent people I have ever met! My son was able to focus on golf but still enjoy everything else that a summer on a New England lake offers (water skiing, wake boarding, boating, etc.). My son will be going back for his 3rd summer. I HIGHLY RECCOMEND NEGT!!! FYI/BTW: He made the High School Golf team junior and senior year!

My son attended the camp in July, 2015. My kids are veterans of different day and overnight camp experiences. What makes NEG&T camp different? First, the facilities are lovingly maintained. The tennis courts (both hard court and clay) were in terrific shape. The golf driving range is just past the cabin area and in easy reach of all campers. The golf and tennis instruction is unbelievable....but wait..there's more. All of this is nestled on a pristine Maine lake with plenty of opportunities to enjoy swimming, canoeing, tubing.... you name it.
Owner Bob Siff is wonderful with the kids...whether the kids come from France .... or from Maine.

This place is stunning. I got to go to this rustic yet comfortable camp last year and it was great! The hum of lawn mowers getting ready for summer and the smell of fresh cut grass filled the air when I was there the other day. I can't wait to spend my summer here again this year!
