North of Ninety yoga studio literally offers something for yoga practitioner. Amy has cultivated a deep sense of community while providing a blend of gentle to more vigorous options. I have practiced yoga at many studios over the past 25 years and this one is by far my favorite. Amy is a master teacher with a huge heart and a smile for everyone. Come check it out-you will be glad you do!

Develop your practice. Cultivate Compassion. Create Community.
These are the phrases inscribed on the wall of this intimate and inviting yoga studio on Main St in Bridgton. And studio owner and yoga teacher Amy really lives those intentions through her class instruction and the student sangha she creates.
The classes are suitable for all levels - advanced practitioners will find rigorous practice (Amy has studied under an established lineage of yoga teachers), and beginners or people who need modifications will find a welcoming and supportive environment.
What I love the most about coming here is the warm community of students, and how asana is interwoven with the spiritual philosophy of yoga. This isn't just a place to get a good stretch in, it's a place to nurture your soul. For those who wish to go deeper in practice, Amy offers immersions, retreats, and private sessions.
I've been practicing yoga for over 20 years, and I'm so grateful to have found this place -- a place I consider to be my community and yoga home.

Amy is the real deal. I have learned so much from her. While I have always looked forward to living in Maine for the summer, being part of the Threads of Yoga community for the past few years has greatly enhanced my physical and spiritual well-being while here.
Amy and her team have been especially sensitive during COVID-19, teaching smaller classes so we are all properly physically distanced and respecting varying viewpoints on how and when to practice yoga during the pandemic. Amy and the community she nurtures are helping me get through these trying times with more grace and serenity. Iām grateful.

Threads of yoga is such an inviting and peaceful space. Immediately when you walk in, there's a sense of ease that washes over you. Amy, the studio owner, is so thoughtful in the atmosphere she creates for her students. I found Threads of Yoga online when I was searching for yoga studios where I live and it didn't take long for me to realize what a beautiful place Amy has created. The teachers there really know their stuff and I love the variety of classes offered. If you want to sweat, you can sweat. If you are new to yoga they have a Beginners class, and the Gentle Yoga is the best when you need to recalibrate and feel supported. I took classes for a few months and when I saw the Spring Immersion class get posted, I knew it was for me. Amy is intentional with every detail of her classes and workshops, and it shows. She really takes care of you. I feel refreshed and taken care of after every Threads of Yoga experience. Highly recommend this studio!
