I joined NXGen Fitness in early September after visiting with my wife and liking the facility. Unfortunately, from the start, the front desk staff were impatient and dismissive β my wife was disappointed. When I signed up, one staff member, Rob, refused to answer a simple question about membership categories and just walked away mid-conversation, leaving me feeling brushed aside and disrespected.
The manager later admitted that Rob did not handle himself correctly or professionally and even apologized for the experience. But then he said he had βseen on the footageβ that I went back at Rob, swearing and threatening to take the conversation outside β something that simply never happened. I was stunned. I asked them to review and share the footage to clear things up, but they refused. It should have been a simple fix.
Itβs bad enough that the staff treated me the way they did, but having management and ownership show no interest in finding the truth was even more disappointing. Being accused of things that never happened was frustrating and unfair.

I thought the gym was very clean and of course the equipment is new. I do think the price is more expensive than other gyms, however, they do offer classes. I do wish there were more aerobic rooms that held more people and we did not have to sign up in advance to take classes. Making more space for classes may solve that. It was nice to come into a gym where I was a member and join class when I walked in; like I have done in past with LifeStyle, Worlds Gym and Fitness Factory. I also wish the hours were 24/7, and early morning classes around 5 am so folks who work early by 7 am could go before work....or classes around 330 when some teachers are free to go right after work. Over all the locker rooms were sparkling clean , the staff was nice and took time to answer all my questions, and there are a lot of extra options if you can afford to pay for them.

Fantastic gym. They have everything you could want. The only problem is that it's so good, peak hours can be packed.

Great gym, with really well-run group classes. Outstanding cleanliness, and the music doesnβt suck. Even when itβs not the right fit for your vibe, itβs easily tuned out with earbuds. The machines are well-maintained and the lifting platforms are ready for powerlifting reps!

Fantastic facilities. I do a ton of running on the treadmills and they are superb.
Very kind staff.
I've only ever had to wait a max of 5 min for a machine and that was twice out of maybe 40 visits.

This place is elite. Huge weight area. the only reason it's not getting a 5 star is they sell lockers so you go in there and it feels very hard to find one when it's really not that busy. Wondering if they will cap the sales on those or if I'll come in here one day and not have a place to put my things.

Brand new gym in the Portland area. Staff is very friendly and welcoming, including gym members as well. They also offer towel services as well, so no need to bring a towel to the gym. They offer tons of workout equipment which is very well spread out throughout the gym.

Spacious, not jammed pack like sardines during rush hour and free towels.
Bonus points for a water bottle refill that shoots like a hose.
