Gym never has towels, and machines are all crammed together, the steam room smells very much like mildew or something. It's okay if you're in town and need to work out but for 70 a month it's not really worth it
UPDATE: AFTER going to this gym for 3 weeks and using the sauna, I got a disgusting fungal infection all over my back and arms, has cost me hundreds of dollars. Go somewhere else.

Best equipped gym in Ogunquit, and tops for a hotel fitness center! It has just enough equipment to be considered a membership gym. The place has high daily rates and no weekly passes. Also, avoid the gym's on-site trainer who is unhelpful and unapproachable.

Machines are old… very old. They want to charge $69 per month but the management have no care about the upkeep of a gym. Is this what you are showing the Ogunquit community and guests? Let’s show pride! ☺️

I’ve been going here for a month now - the gym is great, it’s got just about every piece of equipment you could want. I’d give it 5 stars but there is currently numerous broken equipment - I will revise this review as they get fixed. Most of these have been broken since the beginning of my membership and honestly it’s unacceptable to be paying the monthly $65 when about 10% of the gym is broken.

Currently broken - two treadmills, the stairmaster, the steam room, the lat pulldown (broken 5 pound weight add-on), flex machine, and then the cables on the smith machine are rough.

Update 5/7/25:
- Treadmills working again
- Lat pulldown is working again
- Steam room working again

- Not working - stairmaster and leg stretcher

There's usually about a half dozen people in there, in Winter on weekdays. Pretty full and complete. Smells like rubber in there! I love Jonathan's next door too.

I wished I lived at this resort!

I just went for the day, for the gym, and was very pleased. All the equipment you need, extremely clean, awesome service at resort desk to get day pass. Access to steam room, sauna, and great locker rooms.

I would easily stay at the resort AND get a membership at the gym!
