My wife and I work out with Sheri twice a week and we really enjoy our workouts. We recently moved to the Somersworth are and we've been trying to get back into a workout routine. Sheri's workout are perfect for us. We love that she focuses on form and making sure that we are doing all the exercises correctly. We have a great time. If you are looking for a good workout near you, definitely come and check out Primal Fit, you won't be disappointed.

I've been going to Primal Fit for a couple months now and it's been such a positive impact on my life! The owner, Sheri, creates fresh workouts every day that keep me engaged and challenged, and the environment is so positive and supportive. I love that the workouts are "functional fitness," keeping our bodies strong and primed to do the movements and activities we all need to do in daily life, especially as we age. It feels like such a good investment in my physical health. I'm actually having some health issues right now that are preventing me from doing all I would like to do at the gym and Sheri has been so supportive and helpful with modifications to make sure I stay moving.

Never would've thought I'd be looking forward to going to the gym at 5:15 AM most weekdays, but here I am! Proud to be a member of the tribe!

I joined Primal Fit Maine 3 months ago and it has been such a great fit! I was gym shopping for a local gym where I would feel welcome (no awkward first time gym moments we all know and loathe) not only by the owner and instructors, but also the other gym members and this gym has checked all of those boxes! PLUS the workouts are killer (in the best way possible!), parking is easy and there are lots of times to choose classes based on your schedule. 10/10 Recommend!

The legends classes are a great place to start out if you are concerned about how, what, and when to work out. Love that they are group classes and you get instruction as class moves along. Also gets me out of the house and meeting some fantastic people. I’ve made some great friends in the legends group. I like my saying: Primal Fit is a great place for the unfit to come and get fit and fit in. When I started I was having difficulty getting up stairs. Now 2 years later I’m carrying 50lb bags of dog food up the stairs with ease at 69 years of age. You Rock Primal Fit!!

Primal Fit Maine has been a perfect gym to start my day at. The owner/coach meets everyone where they are, and offers a wide variety of programming. I started going to Primal Fit to get in better shape and get out of the house more once I started working from home. Both of those things have happened and, even more amazingly, I’ve found such a strong community at Primal Fit. Sheri is a fantastic coach who keeps track of the strengths and opportunities for growth for every single person that attends, creating such a welcoming and supportive environment while designing really effective workouts. The culture at the gym is incredibly positive- everyone supports each other, no matter where you are in your individual health/fitness journey or what your goals are. Primal Fit is the main reason I never want to leave the Berwick area, so if you’re looking for a gym, I can’t recommend it enough. Whatever you’re trying to accomplish by joining a gym can be done here, and you’ll have fun doing it.

I started going to Primal in July and suddenly found myself going 5 days a week when I use to only go 2-3. Sheri, the owner, writes daily workouts that focus on challenging you. She has created such a caring community, doing food drives, organizing trail building days for a local nonprofit, and occasional group challenges to decrease your sugar intake or increase your protein intake. Sound weird, I can have a great difficulty staying focusing and counting reps, and Sheri is always there to help figure out tricks and work arounds. I personally have never felt so welcome and supported in a gym. Her funny and outgoing personality is amazing. She is always working to improve the space, classes offered and her own education. You won't find a better gym!

I started attending the Legends classes in September 2024. I am so pleased with the classes and Sheri’s instructions. I feel that my balance has greatly improved as well as my strength. You have to be willing to work if you want to improve. Change does not come just because you show up. I’m not saying it is easy but I will say it has made a difference in my life and it can in yours too.

The Rock Steady Boxing classes are great for those with Parkinson's. No wonder the movement disorder physician in Boston recommended the classes. Sheri is phenomenal and the assistants and fellow participants could not be a more welcoming community. Try it and I think you will be glad you did!

I joined primal fit back when they opened last year. I am not a gym girl and would much rather go hiking than work out but I love primal fit and the work outs.
