I have been taking the Core Basics class now for just over two months. I am 53 and have never done anything like this, working out - at least not more than an occasional attempt. Gyms intimidated me. But Tom made me feel welcome and at ease. I really love this Core Basics class with Erik that he talked me into trying out, it has given me an inner strength that I've never felt before... after only 2 months of once a week classes.
As we age, I know that our core strength is going to be the most important thing in our attempt to age gracefully and get around with ease. it's also a good way to strengthen a "bad back". I preach this in my practice, but now I am walking my talk. The instructors are knowledgeable and will work with you to be sure you are doing things in a safe way if you have physical restrictions. Highly Recommend!

If you are looking for a clean gym with top notch employees and equipment...look no further!!! This gym is the best gym I have ever stepped foot in. I have always been nervous and intimidated walking into gyms and at this gym I felt safe. The owner made me feel at home and had the best sense of humor which instantly calmed my anxiety.

I have been going to this gym consistently for over three years now. Tom is a great guy and great owner! Since the gym has become Right Now Fitness it has been sparkly clean, and very well maintained. Tom has worked hard to ensure people are satisfied with the gym. People that go there are friendly and down to earth. Right Now Fitness is an awesome, local gym for people of all different fitness levels.

I was going to leave this gym while it was owned by Impact Fitness, but under the new owner I enjoy coming to workout immensely. Its cleaner and well taken care of and you can tell the owner of Right Now Fitness really cares about his members experience. I’ll be staying here and getting my pump on thanks to him!

Where do I start? This gym is what you think about when you think of the perfect gym. It's filled with super-friendly, regular down-to-earth people. And best of all ... IT'S CLEAN! I mean REALLY CLEAN!
When you walk through the door, you are greeted with a warm welcome and you just feel happy being there. I don't know if it's the great music, relaxed environment or all the smiles on everyone's face but you immediately feel accepted as one of the family.
The new owner is super nice and helpful, always right there when you walk in and eager to help you understand how to use the equipment. It's an awesome place with awesome members. I am so glad I joined!

This gym has been through a lot of changes since it was Obies, but my personal experience is that the new owner has put in a lot of effort to make the gym cleaner, nicer and has taken an interest in keeping the equipment maintained.
The people at this gym are nice. Frankly it's a regular gym for regular people who maybe like to work out and lift hard without all the nonsense.

I’ve been at this gym for about a year and a half without any issues until recently when ownership was exchanged a few weeks ago. I didn’t receive any notifications about the switch over until I saw new lettering on the door one morning. I didn’t think much of it until I received an email from the new owner stating that I didn’t have a primary membership. About the same time, my girlfriend’s membership which shares under mine with an additional $19 per month to my $34 per month charge, gets deactivated for no apparent reason besides speculation from the new owner that our membership was not paid for. I contacted Tom about what was going on and was getting a little irritated now. I emailed him record of the recent paid transactions of mine and Jess’s membership fees proving we are paid up only getting a brief reply back stating he made a simple mistake and virtually no apology.
I decided to find a new gym where paying members don’t get harassed by ownership and I could just continue my drama free morning routine. Today, my girlfriend goes to Anytime Fitness fitness because her membership ends on the 18th of this month and while in the middle of her workout, Tom steps up to her to harass her about fees and whatever else to the point where she didn’t feel comfortable anymore and leaves. Seems almost he’s making rules up as he sees fit or like he’s gotten some hidden rule book I haven’t seen or been notified about.
Anyway, Tom, you can have your gym that has no proper air conditioning, locker rooms, showers or drinking fountains and other gym amenities that your local competition has. Paying you $34 plus $19 per month to get harassed by you, I’m all set. Hopefully you’re not harassing all your paying members out the door.

WOW! I didn’t even make it to my cancellation date of June 18th at the new Right Now Fitness (formally Impact Fitness/ different owner, clarifying again, different owner). Literally walked out. Owner harassing, doesn’t knock on the door when one is trying to pee (thank goodness locks) and because leaving, requested my key back and told me I could only come back during office hours or charging me another month. Wt?! Good luck with your business buddy!

Everyone needs a place to belong; to have support in personal wellness - it's sometimes difficult to find a gym space that welcomes everyone with the focus to support and grow the individual. That's exactly what Tom is doing, and I couldn't be more thrilled to be part of this new revival! Way to go, Tom! Love the realness that is part of the owner's story. Inspirational!

The new owner has created a place that is friendly and easy to access. I would encourage my friends to come check it out. His rates are reasonable and he greats everyone with a smile and welcome. He doesn't tolerate 'freeloaders' ... those who want something for nothing but his rates are VERY reasonable.

Owner is very racist. Extremely disrespectful. Had a friend (African American) come in to look for his Beats headphones that he left in the gym when the spot was previously owned by Impact Fitness. The owner “Tom” was not helpful at all and disrespectful towards him as he said that if he wasn’t going to purchase a membership that he needed to get out. Little did he know my buddy was planning on purchasing a membership later that week. He then threaten to take away my membership just because I let my buddy in the building. I was very upset after this incident that it lead to me canceling my membership, which he refused to give me my money back. I worked out there a little over a week. Payed $45 for one week of working out, was displeased and simply just wanted some of my money back. I recommend to everyone who went to impact fitness before or is currently going there to stop going there. This man Tom is not nice and doesn’t really care about the people who use / go to his gym. Hence the reason why this gym is now $45 a month, impact fitness was previously $30 a month. It’s easy to tell when someone only cares about the money and not the people.
