I’ve been with Coach Andy for just over a month…it’s truly amazing… I have been “exercising” all my life but it was mostly light weights, and cardio, random machines, but this is different…he customizes your workout and makes certain your doing each one properly to prevent any injuries, which is very important to me… I’m 64, and he challenges you on what he knows is your potential… I love going each time, and how I feel after… He’s keeping me “out of the nursing home😊

Andy is a top notch trainer with all the PROPER training abilities and techniques. As a collegiate athlete, I would not want to train anywhere else. With a variety of ages and training abilities, Silverback Strength Training does an incredible job of helping people achieve their goals. I’ve trained, with a lot of coaches, at a lot of strength gyms over the years, and Silverback Strength, for me, is far and away the best facility in the Bangor area!
The facility is clean, well kept, and well equipped. Coach Andy, is fantastic at both, programming and training. Having played and coached at the collegiate level, gives him experience and skills that are unmatched!
Highly recommend Silverback Strength and Conditioning.

Personalized workouts that are tailored to your needs by a former D1 Umaine at Orono Sports Performance Coach Andy Wary. I’m a high school track athlete training for shotput and discus. I’ve been training with Andy since 2019. I’ve never looked back after that first session. Since the start of my sophomore year my bench has gone up over 30 pounds in a six week program. The culture here in unbelievable everybody is kind truly no judgement. Everybody is nice and ready to be your hype man during any lift. No matter what you’re looking for there is a perfect program made by Andy. Clean, safe, awesome environment to workout in with new equipment that can help you reach your goals. This place is my favorite spot to be after a long day or a rough test. You will get personal attention while doing something new and are walked through all exercises. If you want to put on muscle, train for a sports event, or refine your technique there's a spot for you here.
