Terrible communication. No help with teams or availability. I called prior to the last season 3 different times over a 3 week period looking to play and was told all three times I would receive a call back with info regarding options for myself and my kids to join a team and it never happened. I have now missed the season. Do better.

I wouldn’t recommend booking a birthday party here, especially for toddlers. The party package was misrepresented—what we actually received was very minimal. The only activities provided were a few balls and a small Little Tikes bounce house.
We were told food would be provided, but it was poorly handled. We requested 6 boxes of pizza and only received 4. On top of that, they don’t allow any outside snacks/ drinks.
The drinks consisted of a liter of lemonade (that was 1/2 full) and liter of fruit punch for more than 10 kids, and the utensils and cups provided were basic items you'd typically get with a pizza delivery.

**Additional comments: our pizza got delivered and the poor employee who’s working here, trying his best, said that it was for the party next door and had to take it away. And the cord that’s being used to power the bounce house is in the middle of the floor- they only provided cones to block it off, which the kids quickly kicked away.

This is an excellent place for indoor sports of all kinds, for all ages. Basketball, volleyball, soccer, flag football, and more. There is a food area with bar upstairs. Bathroom facilities are pretty clean, which is impressive for the number of people that move through this location. There is significant parking, but is often full to overflowing due to the number of events all happening at the same time.

It’s a pretty big complex for basketball and they have a turf area. Food and beverages are often available during busy times. Parking lot is large, so you shouldn’t have any problems parking.

We are so grateful for places like XL Sports World for our son who loves basketball! This facility has 5 indoor courts! We travel all over New England to support his sport. This place was a bit run down, the floors need repainting, the seating is limited with metal bleachers downstairs and some areas to look over from upstairs but no seating there. They do have a nice concession area with tables and chairs, real food to order and employees. The bathrooms were limited and not in the best shape. The parking was also limited but this was during a Zero Gravity tournament, so I think it was busier than normal in the facility. All in all, it's a place to play ball, and we appreciate those who put so much into ensuring these places exist in our rural region!!

Just finished indoor flag 10-12u league which is our second time at XL sports. While the facility is ok, the league this time around was a joke. They didn't offer practice time, which during the winter and trying to do a team sports is very difficult! We had two refs during the season, one was great but typically the one we got was not. We ended up playing in the Championship and we didn't have a ref at all! Rules were set but not really followed by teams. Sad to say but unless things change we will not be back.

Excellent facility. Great programs for kids! Thunder has transformed our sons into Amazing and dedicated basketball players. Coach Abi is Incredible with the kids as well as all of the other Thunder coaches. They really put their hearts into these programs and the results are clear on the courts!

I have lived in Saco since XL Sports was once called "Howard Sports" and this is probably the best I've seen this facility run. Currently, I have experience through playing in an adult coed soccer league, and my 3 year old has been involved in the soccer tots program. My daughter absolutely LOVED the coaches for the tot program, Coach Katie & Jamie- they are both very energetic, humorous, and patient which are great characteristics to have when coaching three year olds. In my adult soccer league, the facility manager-Jamie, is very professional and has been a great communicator. If there are any issues or concerns Jamie has addressed them fairly and immediately so that everyone can have some fun while playing the sport they love. I would highly recommend this facility to others.

The Tots soccer program at XL Sports is great. The best part of it is Coach Jamie Kelly! He is so great with all the kids. He is energetic and finds ways to make following directions and learning the sport fun! My son is very shy and was having a hard time with directions. Coach Kelly got him out of his shell and made him so comfortable that he kept asking to go back to soccer. This is a great place and we will certainly be putting our son back into soccer in the fall.

The developmental children's soccer sessions, as well as the summer camps, are fantastic here. The children's developmental league sessions are overseen and run by professional soccer coaches who love what they do, as well as the volunteer coaches who help coach the teams throughout the sessions. For the instruction and quality of teaching that is given, the cost is reasonable. The same goes for the weekly summer camps. Plenty of healthy activities for the kids. One other item of note, if any fields, there are 2, are available (open), you can use them for $5 per person, up to the time the field is needed. To me, a fantastic deal.

If I could rate negative stars I absoloutly would . Be very careful about giving this gym for credit or debit information. They advertise no commitment but will continue to run your cards after your no longer a member if you don't come in IN PERSON regardless of no commitment advertisment. Had a 1 month membership to try them out and cancelled over phone and to my now kniwkedge months later there are 2 outstanding balances for over hundreds of dollars for 2 days of use and ofc because they are an empty facility they are strong arming you to pay it. Lol joke facility.

Reply: yeah basically it's called hidden contract clause for people who arnt unintelligent but good way to sneak that one by. Your staff are trained to acknowledge your paying members. Clearly you guys didn't think that one through in your little handbooks. Next time when your gonna try to just TAKE and that's correct cuz when your customer calls to cancel, your members should explain that when canceling instead of saying well go ahead and do that. Run down facility. Used to be nice. Now you can tell they don't care. Just taking your money. Almost half the lighs over our basketball court weren't working. I complained and the guy at the desk says we are aware of the problem. You've known all week you have a basketball tournament happening on the weekend! Urinal in mens room was clogged.
