My Go-To Gym When I’m in Maine!
I live in Florida but visit Maine often, and Sole-Ful Gym has become my absolute go-to every time I’m in town. My wife and I are both really into fitness, and this place gives us that perfect Maine feel the moment we walk in — welcoming, calm, and motivating all at once.
They’ve got everything we need for a great workout — weights, machines, cardio equipment, you name it — and it’s always spotless. The staff is not only respectful but genuinely friendly and professional, which makes such a difference.
We actually miss this gym when we head back home! It’s that good. If you’re serious about fitness and want a clean, well-run, and positive environment, Sole-Ful Gym is the spot.

This gym is such a gem for Bridgton! It’s clean, well-maintained, and has such a positive energy every time you walk in. The staff are always friendly, welcoming, and genuinely care about the members and their experience. You can tell how much effort goes into keeping everything running smoothly and creating a space where people actually want to come work out.
It’s disappointing to see a few negative reviews that don’t reflect what this place is really like. The team here takes so much pride in what they do, and it shows in every part of the gym. I’m really grateful to have a place like this right here in town!

This November will have been one year of being a member at this gym. As of today, I have been told that I am “terminated” from returning because I sent a private email addressing concerns that I had about the space. After sending this recent email, I received a vague email back with no apology and was told that “We ALL need to work together to ensure the flourishing of SoleFul”. As a paying customer, I believe it’s not my responsibility to do anything but pay my monthly fee and follow the rules of the gym when I am there. Both of which I always have done. It is not my responsibility to ensure your business “flourishes”- that is your job and responsibility when you choose to open a business. It is not my responsibility to clean up areas of the gym that have not been cleaned when I was under the impression that paying a rather steep monthly membership includes a clean space. In my complaints I mentioned the trash overflowing in the bathroom. To which I was told there is no overnight staff, and staff leave around 5. A trash can would not become overflowed overnight, and certainly not if it were changed by staff before leaving. A shower drain doesn’t get clogged with hair after one day. I should not have to scrub the shower prior to showering. Working amenities are also what I assume to be consistently available when paying a monthly fee. If a lightbulb or fixture was broken for months on end (which was the case), I would assume that is sufficient time for it to be fixed. If we are expected to pay monthly on time (and always do, as it is automatic payments) then I don’t believe it is unreasonable to expect for things to be fixed in a timely manner. I was told that even though I had complaints, they’ve had “plenty of good reviews” and just had someone “from France” leave a glowing review. That’s great. But if they are from another country, they are likely just here visiting. If they are just here visiting then of course they won’t notice certain things that a full-time member would notice. The fact that most of your reviews are from tourists that are only visiting and not from repeat, local customers says a lot about your target customers and who you prefer to cater to. During the phone call I received to inform me of my terminated membership I was told that issues would likely continue due to “lack of staff” and a cleaning service that isn’t always available. Basically stating that if I wasn’t okay with problems continuing, then I should go elsewhere because they will continue. I am a local and I am traveling 40+ minutes round trip to go to your gym 2-4 times a week. I am a teacher, on a pretty fixed income, and chose to budget for a membership to your gym. In choosing your gym, I chose to support a local business in the town I grew up in. I’ve invested $1000 into your business and because of one complaint, one email that was not intended to offend but to simply state my perspective and experience, I was told not to return. I easily could have posted publicly if my intent was to be negative and steer others from your business, but that was not my intent at all. It would’ve been just as easy for me to keep my comments to myself and just end my membership and go elsewhere and pay way less per month, but I chose to reach out and try to give you the chance to address things, as a business should. Instead, I was met with the things that I, as a paying member, should have done differently to “ensure the flourishing” of your business. If you are the type of business that is focused more on money than taking care of your long-term local customers (which is clearly the case), then I can see why we will not be a good fit- and I 100% agree. I also believe that if you want your business to “flourish” you should be able to take constructive criticism from those that invest lots of time into your business. I will happily spend my money elsewhere at our other local gym and support a business that actually cares about and appreciates its customers. Best of luck to you all.

I have been a loyal member of this gym for the past year. It’s been my second home — a place I’ve shown up to every morning to better myself physically and mentally. I’ve always respected the rules, appreciated the community, and prioritized this membership in my budget despite the $90 monthly fee, because I truly valued what it offered.
Unfortunately, after sending a polite, respectful, and private email addressing some ongoing concerns (such as maintenance issues, lack of amenities, and cleanliness), I was told I was “not a good fit” and my membership was terminated. My email was never rude or argumentative — it was simply constructive feedback that I felt any paying member should be able to provide.
As a customer, I believe it’s fair to voice concerns, especially when things aren’t functioning properly. Instead of addressing those concerns, management chose to silence them. That’s disappointing and unprofessional.
This could have been an opportunity for the gym to grow and strengthen its relationship with members in our small town community. Sadly, it became an example of how not to handle feedback.

I was on vacation in Bridgton and needed to find a gym. Sole Full Health Club quickly became my favorite. It’s incredibly clean, the staff is friendly, and the equipment is top-notch. I highly recommend everyone check it out. It was well worth the price.

I joined Soleful when we moved into the MEH Community Terrace Estates—initially I joined because of its convenient location—however since joining I have been blown away!!! The facilities—like everything MEH touches are world class and the ability to have 24/7/365 access is amazing! Now to the Staff—Jayden and Matt are both OUTSTANDING—friendly and personable and always with a smile—they welcome you and ask how things are going and always tell you to have a great day when you leave!! They offer one-on-one personalized training and nutrition advice—the BEST!!! I cannot recommend MEH/Soleful/Jayden/Matt any higher—give this place a try—join—you will NOT be disappointed 👊😎

Having been to many gyms throughout the country, I was skeptical about finding a good gym near Naples. The space itself is clean, modern and has everything you need for a whole body workout! Moreover, I was blown away by how welcoming Jaden and Matt were. Matt is the real deal and in fact THE BEST trainer I’ve ever used! You are in great hands with him and with Jaden who is learning from the best! P.S. They are also fun, funny and cool to boot which is a total bonus. So grateful to find this gym and the guys! What a pleasant surprise! Thank you!!!

This gym is wonderful in so many ways. It is 100% worth every penny. The staff is so welcoming. Both Jaden and Matt are full of knowledge and make it so comfortable to be in the space. I look forward to seeing them both! The equipment is new, and the gym is always very clean. I have been a part of a few gyms, but by far this is the very best gym I have ever been a part of. I would highly reccomend stopping in and speaking with Jaden at the front. He is welcoming and so so helpful. And do yourself a favor and setup a assessment with Matt the trainer. It has changed mine, my husbands, and my daughters life. It is like no other trainer you have ever worked with.
We are lucky to have this business in our community, and Jaden and Matt are dynamic team!!

I have been struggling with muscle imbalances, hip and back issues. I had a few sessions with Matt, the personal trainer at the gym. I saw improvement quickly and am back on a regular workout plan. Going forward, I have a better understanding of the causes of the symptoms that I was experiencing. I will definitely book more sessions in the future. Matt is very professional and extremely knowledgeable. I'm amazed with the results. The three sessions that I had with Matt were well worth it.
