In 2023 I was determined to make sure that I was going to put my mental and physical health as a priority. So, I decided to join Unbreakable Health and Fitness in January. My main goal was to improve my nutrition, and after a year of working with Aaron, I gained so much knowledge about how food affects my body and mindset. With a little nudge from Aaron and my supportive family, I took on the challenge of personal training sessions. Walking into Unbreakable Fitness for the first time was so welcoming, but little did I know the sweat and sore muscles that awaited me.

Aaron promised to make me feel "strong," and boy, did he deliver. I'm now 4.5 months into my fitness journey, and I am amazed at the strength and abilities I never knew I had. During a recent session, I lifted a heavier weight during deadlifts and couldn't help but exclaim, "Remember when I couldn't even do an RDL with a god damn broomstick?” And yes I said that in my most Mainer accent - blame the endorphins!

While not every day is a walk in the park, having a healthier body and mind has made the tough days a bit more bearable. I finally feel like myself again, ready to be the best mama for my wild kiddos. This journey is just getting started; bring on the challenges and the gains! I am ready to continue pushing myself to be the best version of me. Thank you, Aaron, for believing in me and helping me along this journey. Here’s to a stronger, healthier, and happier me!

My personal health and fitness journey started about 3 Β½ years ago with wanting to lose some weight and be healthy for my young kids. At that point I was overweight, unhealthy and unhappy with myself. By changing my eating and adding some cardiovascular exercise into my routine I was able to lose 120 pounds and get into what I thought was the best shape of my life.
On a run one day in the summer of 2021, I passed by the new Unbreakable Health and Fitness sign that was just installed near the walking trail in Lisbon. At that point in my journey I knew that I needed help with my nutrition as well as understanding how to exercise properly, effectively and in a way that I was going to be able to sustain long term. After checking out the website and learning that the owner, Aaron, had a similar weight loss story I knew I needed to reach out.
When I first met with Aaron in a personal trainer type setting I quickly realized that I was not giving my body the proper nutrition it needed to function properly. Years of having a weight loss mentality and a lifetime of weight insecurity didn’t help that. Once Aaron got my nutrition on track he was able to create a new workout plan for me to follow at home on days that I was unable to get to the gym for a class or other workout. Over the past year Aaron has created two different workout plans for me based on my specific health and fitness goals. I have been able to put on approximately 10 – 15 pounds of muscle in a healthy and controlled manner. My experience with Aaron and Unbreakable Health and Fitness helped fill in the final pieces of the puzzle that I needed to be the healthiest version of me and it has set me up for long term success.

Unbreakable Health and Fitness has been the best thing I’ve ever done for myself. I started this journey late in life, but Aaron Gould has been so encouraging, motivating and inspiring, I look forward to every class. My only goal was to get strong and build bone density and Aaron is actually seeing that I achieve that goal. His classes are fun, the other members push compliment and encourage each other and the music rocks! Best place to get fit!

My massage therapist recommended unbreakable gym to further my recovery and learn how to remediate my walking and running form. Aaron is fantastic and he has the knowledge and training to target weak areas and plan equipment and techniques to strengthen the weak spots. I want to be walking and running well into my 80's!

I joined UHAF in August. Aaron literally changed the way I look at exercise and nutrition! I backslide HARD from Thanksgiving until mid January, after which I realized how I missed the feelings of being strong, healthy, and in control! I'm on a forward path of fitness and fun! I started with Unbreakable Health and Fitness about a month ago and really look forward to each class. I have already started noticing some differences; I have had lower back pain for quite some time now and always need a cart to hold on to when walking through a large store. This past weekend I walked through Target without a cart and did not have any issues with my back. Aaron and the "tribe" are very welcoming and keep me wanting to go back. I felt comfortable from day one and that is huge for someone who has not worked out in years! #IAMUNBREAKABLE

I would definitely recommend Unbreakable Fitness. Aaron is kind and helpful and very knowledgeable. I was nervous to get started because I haven't worked out in years, but he made me feel very comfortable and at ease. The small group classes are awesome. Everyone is super nice and encouraging and Aaron is there to guide the class and help you out if it's needed. I'm so glad I joined.

Aaron Gould has literally helped save my life. I was over 300 pounds and could barely walk. I had lost all hope that I could regain mobility and health. He created a plan that has helped me to lose 36 pounds in three months and I am able to walk a mile. Slow and steady. He has done the work personally and with his life experience and knowledge he has helped me gain confidence that I too can be fit once again. Sensibly and healthily. Before Covid shut the whole country down, I had signed up to run the 2020 NYC Marathon on November 1st. I am not a runner and I was starting from scratch. I've tried to so some fitness challenges before, and always ended up dropping out for some reason. When New York got cancelled due to the pandemic, I decided I was going to go ahead and run a virtual race on my own. I felt like if I didn't follow through THIS time, I'd never do it.

So, I reached out to Aaron to see if he could help coach me through it. Man, am I glad I did! Not only does Aaron know his stuff, but his past experiences make him an excellent running coach! His nursing background proved CRITICAL for me because the adult version of whack a mole is fixing one ache to have another one pop up somewhere else. Because of his medical knowledge and know how, Aaron was able to guide and direct me to correct/rehab/seek the right measures to keep my engine going.

He taught me a lot about using food for fuel in order to perform at my best and he helped me find my mental game, so that I could go the distance. Aaron hasn't always been an athlete, so hearing about his own journey and seeing where he is today and what he has accomplished is truly inspiring.

If not for his program, I'm not sure I would have reached my goal. But on November, 1, 2020, I completed my first full marathon in 6 hrs 15 min and 7 secs. And Aaron was there to run the last six miles in with me. It was hard, I'm not gonna lie. My hip flexor bugged out for the last 8 miles and the last six were excruciating, but with Aaron's encouragement and crazy story about the Greeks and the Persians, I got to the finish line.

I highly recommend Aaron. He's got something really special and unique going on. His personal approach coupled with a personalized plan tailor-made for you was an investment well worth it because I was investing in myself.
